Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: A New Alliance

Lucifer sat on his throne. In the dark hall, he was surrounded by an indispensable trio: Ashura, the ferocious beast with three faces; Lilith, the cunning lady who radiated seduction like poison; and Oceloth, the calm one who cared only for maintaining balance.

Lucifer opened the meeting with a demonic voice:

Lucifer:

"The demon army alone will not be enough… the world is changing, and enemies are multiplying. The time has come to bring other races under our banner. I will not allow us to remain isolated while others unite their forces."

Ashura's laughter erupted like a volcano:

Ashura (thumping his chest):

"Hahaha! If they're strong, I'll go and bring them myself!"

Lilith stepped forward with graceful steps, her eyes gleaming with cunning:

Lilith:

"But tell me, Lucifer… which races do you mean? Are we talking about the Djinn? The giants? Or the humans?"

Lucifer smiled coldly:

Lucifer:

"Anyone who possesses strength, anyone who has tasted the bitterness of injustice… will be our soldiers. The Dark Fae, the giants, even some cursed humans… whoever is willing to place their hand in ours, we shall open the door. And those who resist… will taste the fire of hell."

Oceloth remained leaning back, showing no enthusiasm, his voice cold:

Asiloth:

"I don't object. More races mean more power. But don't forget… too much mixed blood in one army might ignite internal conflict. It will depend on you, Lucifer… can you control the beasts when they gather?"

A demonic smile spread across Lucifer's face, as if welcoming the challenge:

Lucifer:

"I do not control them… I break them, then rebuild them under my banner. And those who will not break… die."

Silence fell. Ashura's three faces grinned with savagery, while Lilith gave only a mysterious smile, and Asiloth turned his head aside, indifferent.

Thus began the outlines of a new plan: an army not of demons alone, but of all shadow-born races… an army that would shake the foundations of worlds.

The Entrance of the First Chosen

Lucifer sat upon the throne, surrounded by a halo of heavy shadows, while the generals watched him in anticipation. He raised his hand calmly, his voice piercing the silence:

Lucifer (with a faint smile):

"I have chosen the new demons… who will stand among my generals. And I shall begin with the first of them."

He gestured toward the massive gates of the hall.

The gates shook and opened slowly, as though darkness itself were pushing them back.

The first demon entered… Astaroth.

His heavy steps echoed like thunder through the hall, and every eye turned toward him in awe.

His massive, muscular body looked like a statue carved from black iron, radiating absolute power and dominance. Behind him stretched vast black wings, their thick feathers shedding dust like those of a raven risen from the realm of death.

His features were sharp, his face pale as if blood had abandoned him for centuries, yet his cold, piercing gaze carried a deadly mixture of pride and despair. His long black hair flowed freely over his shoulders, magnifying his imposing presence.

He wore partial armor gleaming with a dark hue, a shoulder helm adorned with a skull, and around his form draped a deep crimson cloak etched with interwoven runes.

His arms and legs were covered with black metal armor, crafted to protect the joints and magnify his fearsome aura. In his right hand, he carried a black spellbook, its pages flickering with dark sparks as though alive.

He stopped before the throne and bowed slightly without losing his dignity.

Astaroth (in a deep, husky voice):

"As promised… I have come to place my power under your banner, Lucifer. If you are the new King of Hell… then let me be your sword and your shadow."

The hall filled with tense whispers, the generals' eyes fixed on the newcomer… some with caution, some with anticipation.

Lucifer smiled faintly, leaning forward over the throne:

Lucifer:

"Then… let all bear witness. Astaroth… the first of the new generals."

He paused for a moment, then looked at the others with blazing eyes:

Lucifer:

"And the rest… are coming."

The Confrontation Between Ashura and Astaroth

After Lucifer announced the arrival of Astaroth as the first of the new generals, silence reigned in the hall, broken only by the sound of heavy steps.

It was Ashura, his massive body and six arms radiating the majesty of a mythical beast. He moved forward until his forehead pressed against Astaroth's, the air between them crackling with tension.

Ashura (with a feral grin, his voice like a muffled roar):

"Interesting… the man who surpassed Morlock in magic has finally decided to join our army. Have you come to prove you are worthy of being named among us?"

Astaroth lifted his cold gaze toward him, his face unflinching.

Then, in a deep, emotionless voice, he said:

Astaroth:

"Do not come near me, wretch… your breath stinks."

The hall quivered with muffled laughter from some of those present, while Ashura's eyes blazed with both fury and amusement, his grin widening until he looked like a beast about to pounce.

But Lucifer intervened, his voice cutting the tension like a blade:

Lucifer:

"Enough. This is not the place for petty squabbles… you are both my swords. And whoever tries to break the other… will break himself."

Ashura and Astaroth locked eyes for several long seconds before Ashura finally stepped back, laughing madly:

Ashura:

"Hahaha… very well! This will be fun, with you here, lord of cold sorcery."

Astaroth remained silent, clutching his black book.
