Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: The War of Divided Kingdoms - part 10

Scene One: Arathon vs Ordug

The roar of flames fills the sky. Ordug, the leader of the Nargul, advances with heavy steps, his growl echoing through the field as he drags his blazing spear.

Ordug: "You brat… do you remember when you babbled about cutting off my head? Today I'll pluck your feathers!"

Arathon, the young general, smirks with contempt as he raises his glowing sword: "Hahaha… just a servant speaking such big words? What nonsense!!!"

They meet in the middle of the battlefield. The first strike comes from Ordug's spear, but Arathon blocks it with his sword and thrusts toward his enemy's neck. Ordug dodges the blow, and a continuous series of rapid attacks begins between the two.

Ordug (mocking): "You fledgling! How dare you stand against me? I fought mighty enemies before you even learned to fly!"

Arathon (sharply): "Maybe… but I will be the one to put an end to you!"

The battle rages for a full hour, lightning's light clashing with the glow of fire. In a decisive moment, Ordug gathers his energy and hurls a massive fireball, but Arathon cuts it apart with a slicing wind strike.

Ordug (roaring): "I will kill you, brat!!!"

Arathon (shouting): "This is your end!!! … Hymn of the Sky!!!"

A wave of cutting wind surges forth like a storm, rushing with deadly speed toward Ordug. He tries to block it with his spear, but the winds cleave his body in half.

Ordug (final scream): "Damnnnn you!!!"

His body falls from the sky, burned and torn, while Arathon raises his sword high, his cry ringing out as a cry of victory.

Scene Two: Morlock vs Oungan and Poseidon

Shadows swallow the land, and Morlock steps calmly, his deep voice piercing the chaos:

Morlock: "You, bearer of the golden shield… the only difference between humans and demons is that demons will never allow the weak and foolish to lead them!!!"

Oungan (mocking, laughing): "Ha… are you talking to me, you senile old man? Gathering the wise is too complicated… but gathering a herd only needs a shepherd—or a dog! So to make it simple for you: you and your son are just dogs controlling this army by force!"

Morlock (furious): "You brat!!!!!"

Poseidon (stern, raising his trident): "Let's begin… playtime is over."

Oungan (cackling): "Hahaha… no reply from you? Seems I struck the core."

Suddenly, two demonic generals appear — Garok the Bloody and Ambaros the Destroyer.

Garok (laughing wildly): "Hahaha! Uncle… do you allow me to join you? Let's finish this quickly!!!"

Morlock (calmly): "Do as you wish!"

Ambaros: "Let's end this quickly."

Oungan (laughing angrily): "Hahaha… damn it!"

Poseidon (grimly): "We need reinforcements… otherwise we're finished."

The battle turns into hell — three demons against only two. The strikes of Ambaros and Garok rain down madly, while Morlock floods the field with his black magic.

Poseidon (staggering): "This is impossible… we can't face them together!!!"

Oungan (grinning insanely): "Even if I perish… I'll drag you with me into hell!!!"

Morlock (with deadly calm): "The game is over."

Scene Three: Athena's Entrance

Suddenly — a terrifying crash shakes the place! A woman with white hair, black horns, and red eyes stands atop a high rock, wielding a massive hammer.

With a crushing strike, she smashes her hammer into Morlock's right side, sending him flying into the rocks as debris scatters everywhere.

Everyone freezes for a moment. Oungan and Poseidon stare in shock. Garok and Ambaros roar in fury.

Oungan (curious): "Who are you?!!!"

The woman pulls her hammer from the ground and rests it confidently on her shoulder: "My name… is Athena. The light that erases the darkness."

Oungan (admiring, laughing): "How strong… she's exactly my type!!!"

Poseidon (angrily): "Stop joking, madman! … Luck is on our side this time."

Morlock rises from the rubble, rage blazing in his eyes: "You whore… I will burn you!!!"

Athena steps forward, smiling, her eyes gleaming: "Hahaha… senile old man… I'll make your blood my drink!"

Athena's arrival turns the tide of battle, and even the shadows themselves tremble at the sound of her hammer.

Scene Four: Hades vs Asmodeus

Blood scatters in the air.

Hades drives his black dagger deep into Asmodeus' chest, while the latter grips Hades' neck with his massive hands, choking him with demonic strength that nearly breaks his bones.

Asmodeus (roaring in rage):

"You bastard… I will kill you!!!"

Hades (in a strangled voice, blood bursting from his mouth):

"I'll tear out your heart… before you do this!!!"

The veins in Hades' neck are about to burst from the pressure, his breath fading, but his dagger sinks deeper and deeper into his foe's chest, drawing closer to Asmodeus' heart.

On the other side —

Phinikeiros body lies on the ground amidst the rubble, blood covering his burnt wings. Suddenly, his eyes snap open, he rises slowly, screaming in pain.

Phinikeiros (in pain, clutching his chest):

"Damn it… I thought I was dead just now!!!"

He fixes his gaze on the battlefield, seeing Hades on the verge of suffocation.

Narrator:

Phinikeiros will return to the fight…

But the question: will Hades die before he reaches him.
