Chapter 65 - Afterword: The Third Yuri Journey

Wow… my third yuri-themed translation project is finally complete! Honestly, I started this project with so much excitement and energy, but somewhere along the way, things slipped a little. It wasn't just life and timing—looking back, I feel like the overall presentation of this translation isn't as polished as my usual standard, and I want to be upfront about it.

For those of you who are new to my translations, let me share a little about myself. My constitution leans heavily toward Yin, and based on Javanese calculations and astrology, my chart clusters around a certain "sensitive" alignment and "Moon". In short, I'm very attuned to cosmic events and easily affected by them. This September 8th, we had a total lunar eclipse, and I was absolutely feeling it. While this one wasn't as intense as some previous times (when multiple cosmic events hit at once), it still slowed my brain down. My focus lagged, and I felt "dumber" than usual while working on this story.

If you've been reading from the beginning, you probably noticed the difference. Early chapters had more deliberate formatting—system's dialogues were bold and neatly bracketed, character monologues were italicized, and the pacing between paragraphs felt tighter. But as the story went on, I got caught up in the flow and didn't always maintain those little touches that make a translation look sharp. It's not that the story itself changed, but the presentation didn't stay as consistent as I'd like.

Part of this was timing, too. Most of this project was translated around early September, right under the shadow of that lunar eclipse, which definitely slowed me down mentally. Combine that with tight schedules, and I didn't give myself as much time to refine formatting or layout as I normally do.

This was my third yuri translation project, following:

2. My Cold-Hearted Boss Wants to Marry Me (modern setting)

1. I Became a Fairy and Lived Forever in the Fairy World (xianxia)

My second project was fairly decent. It was one of my earliest attempts, and while I hadn't found my "translation voice" yet, the presentation was cleaner. But my first project is still my pride and joy as it was my first novel that I translated on this account. It was also a breakout hit that remains my most collected novel to this day. Because of the love it received, I poured everything into refining it: expanding scenes, turning subtle hints into clear context, and even writing a few extra chapters myself. I also added rank charts, lore chapters, and character images to help readers unfamiliar with the xianxia genre dive right in.

If this is your first time reading one of my works, I highly recommend checking out that project too!

Also, if you like other genre such as: #NoCP (MC will stay single) #Infrastructure #Historical #FemaleMC #Xianxia #StrongWoman #Rebirth #Game #Counterattack #Transmigration #system #Apocalypse #QT (quick transmigration) #BehindTheScenes and #Entertaintment

Feel free to visit my profile! Most of the novels I translate are tagged with things like above.

You can also follow me by clicking the little "Love" or heart-shaped button on my profile! You'll know it worked when the number goes up and the heart turns white ♡

That way, you won't miss it when I upload a new novel—you'll get a notification right away~

As for yuri translations… this isn't my main focus, but I absolutely love the genre. I'll continue translating yuri stories, but not as frequently as my other genres—unless you guys send me a flood of requests (the exact number needed is, of course, a secret).

Want to dive deeper on Webnovel? As a thank you for reading, I've created a handbook series!

The Xianxia Handbook: For all things cultivation & dao magic.

The Imperial Handbook: For court ranks, harem politics, and history.

The Webnovel Handbook: Decodes slang like "Golden Thigh" & "Eating Melon."

Find them all on my profile. They're the perfect companion for your next reading adventure!

That being said, if you enjoyed this story, please consider leaving a review, sharing your thoughts, or supporting me.

If you've enjoyed this translation, I'd be super grateful if you could leave a vote or a review! ✧٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧

Even though I'm not contracted with Webnovel, your reviews really do help boost my account's visibility. Webnovel officially promotes only contracted authors, so for non-contracted translators like me, there are only a few "free boosts" available—like New Release, Fresh Stories, Potential Starlet, and Ongoing Originals. Out of these, I've only received three free boosts so far, and "Ongoing Originals" was only for I Became a Fairy And Lived Forever in the Fairy World.

Let me explain a bit:

New Release: For recently uploaded stories.

Fresh Stories: Highlights new content that Webnovel thinks might attract readers.

Potential Starlet: Stories that show potential for popularity based on engagement.

Ongoing Originals: A boost for serialized stories that are already being published.

Since my translations fall under the non-contracted category, I rely on things like your reviews, stars, and follower count to reach more readers. Even just a review or a star rating can make a difference in helping my account grow and reach a wider audience.

This is why your reviews are so critical:

Visibility: The most important thing is getting a visible star rating next to the novel's title, like the one you see on I Became a Fairy And Lived Forever In The Fairy World. To unlock this visible rating, a novel needs 10 reviews. That star rating significantly increases the story's credibility and visibility to new readers.

Platform Promotion: A high-quality star rating and consistent votes signals to Webnovel that a story is popular, which helps it show up more frequently in reader recommendations and searches.

Followers: Following my profile by clicking the little "Love" or heart-shaped button is another massive help! When the follower count goes up, it boosts my account's overall visibility, making the platform more likely to recommend my work.

Every review, vote, and follow directly helps this story reach more readers and keeps me motivated to bring you the next chapter!

How to help:

✨ On Web:

Scroll to the top of the novel's main page and click the blue "Write a Review" button near the bottom, under "You May Also Like." A pop-up will appear where you can rate the writing, characters, and world.

📱 On the App:

Tap the "Rate This Book" section (just below Fandom Rankings). A star rating box will pop up—add your thoughts and hit submit!

Honestly, translating is a labor of love for me. I spend almost all my waking hours at my laptop working on these stories. While I'm not trying to pressure you at all, I would be lying if I didn't say that the lack of job opportunities right now makes every bit of support a huge deal. Just to give some context—since I started uploading my translations here, I've only received two donations and one subscriber on the lowest tier of my Patreon. That's it.

Even if you can't—or don't want to—donate, leaving a review, giving a star rating, or following my profile still helps immensely. These actions help my account reach more readers and make the translation visible to a wider audience. Honestly, every little bit counts. Receiving a donation, reading a review, or seeing a new subscriber truly brightens my day, provides tangible support for all the time I invest and motivates me to keep translating more stories for everyone. Hi everyone! Just a quick announcement: I've hit the 20-novel limit on my Webnovel account, so I won't be able to upload any new projects here for now. To keep sharing my translations with everyone, I've decided to migrate my new uploads to AO3!

For my completed novels, I'll also be making them available in .epub format on Google Drive or TeraBox, so you can read them offline whenever you want. I'll put the links in the comment section. If you're reading on the app, it can be tricky to copy or open links there. In that case, please use your browser to access the web version at https://www.webnovel.com and, if needed, switch to desktop mode in your browser settings to copy/paste or access the links properly.

I've already started a new project there: "My VR Games Terrify the World"—I hope you'll enjoy it! Don't worry—all ongoing/serializing projects on Webnovel will continue here. I won't be abandoning anything you're currently following!

For extra safety, I'm also putting my translations on Royal Road (username: Reiya_Alberich) so they're accessible in multiple places.

If you'd like to follow my AO3 account, my pseud is Rikhi and you can find my profile here:https://archiveofourown.org/users/Rikhi/pseuds/Rikhi

Thanks so much for your support, and I hope you'll continue to enjoy all the translations—both old and new—no matter the platform! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و
