At last I'm finally coming home after 4 years of staying away from home, my friends, my family and my love " Henry said to himself as he sat in the plane on his way to his home town.
He had spent 4years away from his family and his real life in other to build a better future and an empire in which he successfully did as he worked hard day and night to become the successful and rich man that he is now .
Henry had to sacrifice alot, his love Abigail .
" I can't wait to see you my love " Henry whispered to himself as he held his phone looking at Abigail's portrait.
FLASHBACK:
Abigail was Henry's neighbor she lived in a small house with her parents ,her father who had alot of self Respect inherited this house from his father as it was a very important family heirloom and had alot of memories.
Henry's father who owned a big mansion and had various spots for business at the side close to a beautiful tree was where a little flower shop was the flower was planted inside his house and sold outside ,also he had bulls to give him fresh milk which he sold and Abigail's family was a great consumer of that since her mother Betty sold cookies and bread loaves .
Their love story started when they were both teens and their favourite spot to meet was at the room were the bulls feed were kept and there were several trees around the area as it gave them a special atmosphere of love.
The wind blew alot of good memories into Henry as everything seemed like a déjà vu because he has always dreamed of this moment for all those years .
" You are welcome sir " The driver said smiling as he opens the door
"Thanks " Henry replied "Has any shortcut or easier route been constructed since I left ? "
" Yes sir " the driver answered
" Okay let's take that road instead won't want to spend another minute here " Henry said as he fixed his seat belt .
The car deployed alot of Elegance it showed riches and any girl would love to marry even the driver of the vehicle.
Sweet memories flashed in and out of Henrys heart as it felt as if his love story was starting all over again.
"I'm very sorry for keeping you waiting love " Abigail smiled as her short black hair danced to the rhythm of the wind and her dark pupils shined along with the stars present that night
" I would wait a thousand years for you my love, what is love when you don't have patience " Henry answered smiling and drawing her close too close that both their hearts pumped the same time ,
It was more of a fair tale as if the heavens approved of their Union since birth that nature also submitted to them , fireflies flew around the moon shinning stars twinkling and the cool breeze sweeping Abigail's hair
"I love you " Abigail said as she gazed deep into his eyes her hands on his chest
" I love you even more Abi " Henry replied still maintaining the gaze and then pressed his lips on hers the kiss was so passionate and only showed true emotion love .
About Abigail's character if anyone was to catch them both in the middle of the garden trees at dusk they wouldn't believe the girl to be her as she was a gentle and sweet girl of high self respect loving , dutiful , respectful not lacking any virtue and holds her dignity as a woman ,Miss perfect she seemed but in the presence of Henry all her real and suppressed feelings comes out he was the only person she was free with and could not hide her mafianess. Their relationship has always been a secret till the very day Henry left and that was the biggest moments of their life where they had to test their love and how far it could go .
" We have arrived sir .." the driver blurted out stoping the vehicle at the parking lot
" Oh yes we are .." Henry smiled as he once again seemed to be lost in his previous memories with his Abigail and wasn't paying attention.
" You are well come sir .." The maids at the mansion smiled as it was time to welcome their new master since their old master had passed away .
" Thanks alot for the ground welcome " Henry said smiling as his impatience grew to see his beloved ."
In a few minutes he jumped out of his mansion on his way to her home.
" HENRY !!"Betty said as she was very happy and surprised to see him
" Good day Ma'am , how are you ?" Henry asked as his smile made the atmosphere brighter .
" I'm fine my dear boy you are finally home after you left us, oh I missed you my boy we all missed you"Betty said happily embracing him with true intentions and happiness .
"Ah ma'am where's Abigail I really want to see her I also got her some things as gifts " he said as his happiness seems to escape anytime he tries to keep composure.
" She isn't home son .."she answered as the atmosphere became a bit tense
"She's not how where did she go ?, Last time we spoke about a year ago she had finished college "Henry answered .
" Yes she has finished college .she... She's with her husband ... Abigail is married ..? Betty blurted out as her word struck him like lighting.
"What she's married !.. 'How ?...' Why.....?When ..?" Henry starmerimg as a hot tears stole his eyes.
"Well son I know this will break you it has been 3 months since she got married, Although she told me about both your relationship at the last minute I still couldn't stop she was done with college it was time for her to settle "Betty paused ..." She waited for you it wasn't her fault but at this point it is a rather personal and family issue I would not want you to get involved in it ."
" No ma'am this can't happen I'm sure you didn't hear our full we can't jus seperate like this we ... We ...we have been through alot together you won't...." Henry tried to explain
" Get it ,I have heard and concludes she has started her on life so u start yours you guys weren't meant I'm sorry son " Betty uttered in regret as she shot the doors of their sitting room against him and he was only left with the freshly baked cookies on display on the tempered glass Heat broken.
