Mia hummed quietly as she packed her and Ryan's things. Ryan had gone out to get the car ready. After a lot of convincing, she finally got him to agree to let her come with him. Now, three days later, they were leaving.
"Hey baby, alright, we should get going," Ryan said.
"Okay," Mia replied with a bright smile and followed him to the minibus.
Meanwhile, Mabel sat quietly in the pack's meeting room when Ryan's parents walked over.
"Hey dear, how are you?" Ryan's father asked.
"I'm good, Father," Mabel replied.
"I heard Ryan is on his way," his mother said.
"Oh."
"His mate is with him," she added.
Mabel was shocked. Was Ryan really bringing Mia here?
"I doubt that. He wouldn't dare. I don't accept her as my daughter-in-law," Ryan's father said firmly.
"We'll see about that," his mother replied calmly.
The former Alpha and Luna, Coreen and Lisa, were both deep in thought.
Mabel sat back down, fuming with anger.
