The Mirrorglaives are not native to this planet. They are a parasitic, shapeshifting, interplanetary invasion species that appear during planetary collapse cycles. Unlike native beasts, their existence is shrouded in mystery, they arrive through portals in reality itself and that also senses when a portal is opened.]
A Mirrorglaive is drawn to portal energy. When a portal opens, it instinctively attaches itself to the passage. The creature immediately chooses one of the travelers and assumes their form upon arrival, often without them realizing a replacement has been made.
Physical Characteristics
Base form: Humanoid physique with a silvery-black body. Elongated claws and razor sharp teeth.
Eyes: Shimmering shards that replicate whatever image the prey fears most.
