Chapter 127 - Shun's Desire To Have a Child

When Shun's hands began to move, Mikoto's heart jumped, and she quickly reached out to press down on his wrists.

She said, a little flustered, "Wait, the door... the door isn't closed yet."

However, before she could finish speaking, the once-open bedroom door seemed to have a will of its own, suddenly closing automatically.

"My lady, the door is already closed, so we can..."

Shun carried Mikoto and strode towards the inner chamber.

Mikoto instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, her ear tips slightly red as she thought about what was to happen next. Her sash slipped, and in the candlelight, Mikoto's skin was as lustrous as snow, yet faintly flushed with shyness.

Shun's gaze swept over her inch by inch, finally resting on an old scar below her collarbone. He suddenly lowered his head and kissed the scar.

Mikoto trembled all over, her fingers unconsciously tangling in his hair. "Husband..."

"Call my name." His voice was low and hoarse, his fingertips slowly tracing her waistline.

"Shun..." She whispered, her voice almost melting into the night.

Outside, the rain grew heavier, and the candlelight flickered, casting their intertwined shadows on the paper screen.

Shun's palm cupped her waist, pulling her completely into his embrace. His breath enveloped her, hot and forceful, allowing no resistance.

Mikoto gasped for mercy, "Shun... slower... let me catch my breath..."

Shun, however, chuckled lowly, biting her earlobe. "Alright, then let's switch."

Under his assault, Mikoto let out whimpers.

The sound of rain, gasps, the soft crackle of candlelight...

All sounds blurred into one.

...

Around six in the morning, the morning light streamed through the window, illuminating a warm atmosphere in the room.

Mikoto slowly opened her eyes and found that Shun was uncharacteristically sleeping in. At this moment, his sharp features softened in sleep. But his right hand was still possessively wrapped around her waist.

She gently brushed aside the stray hairs on his forehead, and suddenly her wrist was caught. There was no hint of sleepiness in Shun's open eyes. He seemed to have been awake for some time.

"Mikoto, why are you up so early?"

Mikoto's voice revealed a hint of languor and tenderness. "Husband, it's already morning."

Mikoto tried to sit up from under the covers, but suddenly, a powerful force pulled her tightly into his embrace. Shun's arms were wrapped tightly around her waist, making her unable to move.

Seeing his gaze, Mikoto's heart beat a little faster. She had already guessed what he intended to do.

"Husband, it's already light outside."

Shun's body pressed against hers, his lips gently landing on her earlobe. His kisses were soft and delicate, bringing a tingling sensation.

Mikoto's body trembled slightly, and her breathing became a little hurried.

Shun's lips continued to wander along her earlobe, then slowly moved downwards, kissing her neck. His breath was warm and moist, blowing on Mikoto's ear, making it tickle.

"Mikoto, since you're awake, let's do it again. I want to have a child with you."

Mikoto's face instantly turned crimson, and she shyly pushed him. "Husband, you mustn't, it's broad daylight."

But Shun had no intention of stopping. His kisses grew hotter, and his hands also became restless.

"Mikoto, I've even thought of names for our child. If we have a boy, we'll call him Sasuke. If we have a girl, then we'll call her Sarada. What do you think of these two names?"

Upon hearing this, Mikoto felt as if all the strength had been drained from her body, leaving her soft and weak, and her original worries and anxieties gradually dissipated.

She shyly lowered her head, secretly thinking to herself, 'Husband is already considering names for our child, does this mean he doesn't mind my previous status as a widow?'

Her heart held a mix of shyness and sweetness. "Whatever name husband likes for our child is fine."

Shun's eyes were full of smiles when he heard Mikoto's response, and his actions grew more eager.

Under his passionate assault, Mikoto gradually succumbed, and an ambiguous atmosphere once again filled the room.

After a passionate embrace, both of them were a little breathless.

Shun held Mikoto tightly, placing a kiss on her forehead. "Mikoto, from now on, I will surely treat you and our child well."

Mikoto leaned in his arms, her face beaming with a happy smile, and nodded gently.

Just then, a gentle knock sounded at the door.

The clear, pleasant voice of a maid came from outside. "Your Highness, breakfast has been prepared for you."

Hearing this voice, Mikoto's face flushed slightly.

She shyly and gently pushed Shun in her arms, and softly said, "Husband, breakfast is ready, let's go eat first."

However, Shun seemed to have no intention of getting up. He still held Mikoto tightly, as if she were a rare treasure he was unwilling to let go of.

His lips curved slightly, revealing a doting smile, and he softly said, "No need, just send breakfast to Mikoto's palace. I'll eat here this morning."

Upon hearing this, the maid outside quickly and respectfully responded, "Yes, Daimyo-sama."

Then, she turned and left to arrange breakfast for the Daimyo and the Princess.

Mikoto coiled her hair and straightened her disheveled clothes. "Husband, it's getting late, you should get up and shower."

Shun picked Mikoto up, and as someone passed by the window, he gently bit her earlobe.

"Mikoto, I still want you. Try not to make a sound. Otherwise, the entire palace will know."

Mikoto was so mortified she felt like dying, because her shameful appearance was clearly reflected in the dressing mirror.

A little while later, a servant called out from outside, "Daimyo-sama, there's morning court today, you should get up and take a bath."

At this moment, Shun was at a crucial point in his activities.

He angrily shouted, "No morning court today. If they have business, tell them to wait."

Mikoto gently caressed her lower abdomen, secretly praying that she could fulfill her husband's wish and bear him an heir soon.
