Chapter 126 - Humiliating Obito

"Ouch!"

Obito clutched his stomach, a violent pain spreading through his abdomen.

He widened his eyes, his face filled with an expression of disbelief. "How is this possible? How are you so fast? Even my Mangekyo couldn't track your movements."

Shun looked bored. "Young man, you are so weak. If you want to seek revenge on me, you'd better go back and train for another ten years or so. But if you dare to harm the people of the Land of Water and Konoha, I will personally kill you. Now get out."

Being looked down upon, Obito immediately grew angry. "I just made a mistake, you're nothing special."

Then, he used Kamui, lurking behind Shun, wanting to launch a sneak attack. But his actions were slowed down 6 times in Shun's eyes. With a turn and a kick, he sent Obito flying.

The familiar pain returned, and Obito was both shocked and enraged. He rolled several times on the ground before regaining control of his body.

Shun looked down at him condescendingly. "Young man, stop making futile struggles, you are too slow. And the dōjutsu you rely on is full of flaws in front of a true powerhouse. Even when I first saw your dōjutsu, I had already thought of several ways to counter it. I even have a way to enter your alternate dimension and render your dōjutsu ineffective."

The air seemed to freeze for a moment. Obito spat out a mouthful of blood, and his figure began to distort.

Seeing him about to run, Shun continued, "Remember, if you dare to harm the people of the Land of Water and Konoha, I will personally kill you."

Obito's eyes held some unwillingness, but his body vanished into the Kamui vortex.

After escaping to a distance, he punched the wall, sending shattered rocks flying.

"Damn it. Shun, how could he discover my weakness? And his speed... Why is he so fast?"

This was the first time anyone had made him feel such danger and powerlessness.

Shun used Flying Thunder God to return to his throne.

He said nonchalantly, "Continue the music, continue the dance."

The palace maids received the order, and the music and dancing in the palace resumed.

Mikoto softly asked, "Shun, who was that person?"

Shun sat back on the soft couch, lazily wrapping his arm around her waist. "Don't worry about it, just a lost stray dog."

Mikoto narrowed her eyes. "He has a Mangekyo Sharingan. You just let him go like that?"

Shun's lips curved into a smile, and a profound light flashed in his eyes. "You need a long line to catch a big fish. Besides, he is not worthy of being my opponent yet."

The night was like water, and moonlight shone through the sheer curtains, casting dappled light and shadow on the bedroom floor.

Mikoto sat at her dressing table, gently combing her long black hair.

The woman in the mirror had gentle eyes, yet there was a faint, almost imperceptible hint of melancholy about her.

Familiar, steady, and unhurried footsteps sounded from outside the door.

Mikoto's fingers paused for a moment, then she put down the comb and rose to greet him.

The door was gently pushed open, and Shun's tall figure appeared in the doorway. He had shed his authoritative Daimyo attire from the day, wearing only a dark single-layer garment, his black hair falling loosely over his shoulders.

"Mikoto, why aren't you asleep yet?"

Mikoto lowered her head slightly, as if a little shy. "I guessed you might come, so I was waiting for Your Highness."

Shun slowly approached, and when he stood before Mikoto, he reached out a finger and gently lifted her chin, meeting her gaze with his own.

"You seem to have something on your mind." His eyes were deep and bright, as if they could penetrate Mikoto's heart.

Mikoto hesitated, then finally gathered her courage and spoke, "Husband, I just don't understand why you always come here when you have so many other choices."

Her voice was very soft, as if afraid to disturb the night's tranquility.

Shun's lips curved slightly, revealing a mysterious smile.

He couldn't very well say that, according to the original history, she would give birth to Sasuke next year. Now that Fugaku was dead, he had to take his place.

He gently pulled Mikoto into his embrace.

"Mikoto, then why do you think I do this?" His voice was gentle, yet it carried an irresistible power.

Mikoto shook her head, her eyes a little lost. "Husband, I don't know."

Shun's palm gently caressed her cheek. "Mikoto, it's because I like you. I feel more relaxed when I'm with you."

Mikoto's heartbeat quickened slightly. She pursed her lips, then finally whispered, "Husband, I just hope you don't neglect the others."

Shun suddenly picked Mikoto up horizontally, causing her to gasp and instinctively wrap her arms around his neck.

"Da... Daimyo Your Highness...!" Mikoto's face instantly flushed red.

He deliberately bounced his arms, making her hold on tighter. "Call me husband. Why are you so light? Did you not eat properly again?"

Mikoto shyly turned her face away. "I... I ate on time."

Before she could finish, Shun suddenly tossed her into the air.

Mikoto cried out in surprise, the hem of her clothes fanning out like butterfly wings, and just as she was about to fall, he caught her steadily.

He smiled like a mischievous boy who had gotten his way. "Caught you, my Mikoto-sama."

"Husband... you're too reckless." Mikoto's breathing was erratic, her chest heaving violently.

She had no idea how captivating her eyes were at this moment. Her hairpin had slipped, her long hair was loose and the collar of her usually dignified clothes was slightly disheveled.

Shun suddenly leaned close to her ear, his hot breath making her shiver all over. "This is what you call reckless? Later, I'll show you what real recklessness is."
