The speed of the serpent was too fast, leaving Pete and the others no time to react, forcing them to prioritize their own safety and swiftly scatter to the sides to distance themselves from the serpent.
Qinghan and Jerry hadn't come up. I wondered if something had happened to them and took advantage of the serpent chasing Pete and the others to secretly jump down the hole.
Below the pit, the space was filled with crystals, resembling a vein of some kind of crystalline mineral. The crystals were dark green in color, and I picked up a small piece and stuffed it into my pocket, thinking if it might be valuable, I could come back for more.

The pillar appeared to be part of the wall, yet there was a slight gap in the middle where Qinghan's slim figure fit just right.
