Chapter 1
Hi, I'm Luisa. I'm nineteen, a university student in Himmer (place only exist in this story)
But I am from Lore ( place only exist in this story)
I've never been the social type — crowds drain me, small talk feels exhausting. I prefer quiet moments: cooking in my tiny kitchen or getting lost in dark romance novels where emotions run deep and real.
Most days, I keep to myself.

Chapter 1: The First Time I Saw Him
It was a cold, rainy winter morning when I was on my way to university. I had missed my bus, but somehow, I still managed to arrive on time. My hair was damp from the drizzle, my fingers freezing as I sat down by the window.
As I took out my notebook, an unfamiliar voice broke through the sound of the rain outside.
Calm. Deep. Cold, almost.
"Hello everyone. My name is Ben, and I'm from Aves (place only exist in this story) . Nice to meet you everyone.
My eyes lifted before I could stop them.
He walked past me to find a seat — tall, confident, and effortlessly handsome. There was something in the way he carried himself that made it hard to look away. Maybe I was just curious... or maybe I was mesmerized.
But I'm not the kind of girl who gets easily swayed by appearances. And besides, he already seemed too popular for my liking.
The girls around me were whispering.
"He's so handsome."
"Yeah, so attractive."
I looked away and focused on my notebook.
I don't like popular guys.
Just then, my pen slipped from my fingers and rolled to the floor.

Chapter 2: Ben
He bent down, picked it up, and handed it back to me.
Ben: "Oh, I'm sorry."
Luisa: "It's okay."
Our eyes met briefly — nothing more than a polite exchange. But somehow, that small moment stayed with me longer than it should have.
I went back to my seat, trying to study, but my mind refused to listen. I caught myself glancing at him again and again.
Every time he moved, my focus shattered.
Then he suddenly stood up and walked out of the room.
My gaze followed him without thinking — and just before he disappeared through the door, he turned and looked back at me
For a second, time stopped.
I quickly pretended to read my notes, acting like nothing happened.
When he was gone, I finally exhaled. Maybe now I could actually focus.

That evening, I headed home. I live alone, and usually, I enjoy the peace — cooking something warm and simple for myself. But that night, I was too tired. I made instant noodles instead.
After eating, I went to my bedroom and opened the window. A cool, clean breeze rushed in, brushing against my skin. It smelled like rain — fresh, alive, comforting.
I closed my eyes for a moment, just breathing it in.
I've always loved this smell — the kind that makes you feel like the world is quietly healing.
Then I sat down at my desk and tried to study again.

The Next Day
It was raining again. The streets glistened under soft grey light as I walked to class.
This time, I was early.
And the first person my eyes found when I entered the room — was him.
Ben.
I quickly looked away. I told myself I wouldn't waste my time thinking about him again.
When break time came, I left the classroom and climbed up to the rooftop. The rain had stopped, leaving the air cool and clear. Tiny droplets sparkled along the railings, and a faint rainbow hid behind the clouds.
I stood there quietly, breathing in the stillness.
No noise. No people. Just the sound of wind and my own heartbeat.
I love being here — alone, where everything feels calm.
Up here, it's like the world finally makes sense.
