Chapter 204 - New Power, Shadow of the Old Enemy

In just one day in the outside World, Dominic completed nearly a year of training in the time-accelerated space. As the magic circle's light gradually faded, Dominic's figure emerged. A powerful aura emanated from him, and his eyes held an indescribable sharpness.

Strange stood outside the magic circle, watching his figure, and nodded slightly: "It seems you haven't disappointed me."

Dominic slowly opened his eyes, a confident smile playing on his lips: "Now, I am ready."

Strange watched Dominic walk out of the magic circle, his body drenched in sweat, yet radiating an aura that couldn't be ignored. Even without any unnecessary movements, simply standing there, his presence pressured the entire space, as if the air had become heavy.

"I must admit," Strange raised an eyebrow slightly, his tone carrying a hint of surprise, "this level of improvement, in such a short time, is truly impressive."

Dominic lightly moved his shoulders, his joints making crisp sounds. He raised his head, his eyes firm: "This is just the beginning. I still have a long way to go."

Strange tapped his finger in the air, the magic circle quickly dissipated, and the Time Stone's light returned to calm. He put the Time Stone back around his neck, adding a hint of warning to his tone: "While time acceleration can help you improve quickly, it can also make you miss the subtle perception of true growth. It's best to think carefully before using it next time."

Dominic smiled calmly: "I know what I'm doing, and I won't let it consume my mind."

Strange looked at his confident expression, finally just nodded, and turned to leave: "I hope so."

On the high platform of Asgard's temporary base.

Dominic looked down at the camp being built below. The busy figures of the warriors were silhouetted against the setting sun, and the refugees appeared exceptionally quiet under the evening glow. He took a deep breath, feeling his body full of power, and at the same time, sensing the flame of desire to become stronger in his heart burning more intensely.

"Getting stronger every day," he murmured, his gaze firm, "This is my only path."

Dominic slowly walked down the high platform, his steps firm. An invisible aura seemed to flow around his body, causing the passing Asgard warriors to turn their heads. He paid no attention to these gazes, his eyes like torches, passing through the camp, and walking directly towards the barracks not far away.

Inside the barracks, Deadpool was sitting at a table, flipping through a worn-out map. He was muttering to himself while waving a marker pen in his hand, as if drawing funny doodles on a point on the map. Seeing Dominic enter, he immediately looked up, his tone teasing: "Oh, look who it is! Our time traveler is finally back! How do you feel? Have you gotten handsomer?"

Dominic ignored Deadpool's joke and walked directly to the table to sit down: "What's the next plan?"

"Tsk tsk, what a cold and ruthless guy," Deadpool pretended to cover his chest, "Ignoring a teammate like me who comes with a sense of humor, you truly are a War Machine born to save the World."

At this moment, Logan walked over from the other side of the room, a cigar in his mouth, and snorted coldly: "Cut the crap, Deadpool. How was his training? Is he harder to deal with than before?"

"Of course," Deadpool immediately turned his head, grinning, and replied, "Although I haven't fought him yet, based on my extensive experience, he's at least 10% handsomer than last time—or stronger."

Logan glanced at Dominic and mumbled softly: "I hope this power of yours can really be useful."

Dominic leaned back in his chair, his hands crossed over his chest, his tone calm: "My power isn't for arguing. I need to know what we are facing next."

Deadpool blinked, suddenly becoming serious: "Rama-Tut. He's our next target. This guy is obviously more troublesome than Thanos." He paused, then added in an exaggerated tone, "Also, he really dresses like an ancient Egyptian villain, I'm serious."

"That's all you know, and you don't even know why he bothered you," Dominic said.

"Strange and Tony are analyzing his energy fluctuations," Logan interrupted. He took the cigar out of his mouth and blew out a smoke ring. "You'd better be prepared. This time, it might be more difficult than any other time."

Dominic nodded slightly, his gaze still sharp: "Difficulty is a good thing. It makes me stronger."

Deadpool looked at him, suddenly clapped his hands, his tone full of mockery: "Oh, listen to this powerful declaration! I can already sense how 'epic' this battle will be."

Silence fell in the room for a moment, only Deadpool's applause echoing. Dominic stood up, his gaze sweeping over everyone present, finally landing on Deadpool: "If you are ready, come with me to face it."

Deadpool was taken aback, then chuckled: "Ready, of course, I'm ready. I'm Deadpool, fighting is my main job, saving the World is just part-time!"

"Then let's go." Dominic's voice was low and powerful. He turned and walked out of the room, his steps still firm.

Behind him, Deadpool shrugged and made an exaggerated face at Logan: "Look at this guy, like a walking War Machine. No wonder we all love him."

Logan couldn't be bothered to respond. He casually extinguished his cigar and followed Dominic out of the room. At this moment in the Asgard camp, the setting sun's afterglow covered the ground, and the figures of the warriors appeared incredibly busy in the golden light, as if a massive battle was quietly approaching.

Asgard's temporary base, the setting sun shining obliquely.

Strange and Tony were standing beside a simply laid table. On the table were projection equipment and some data fragments collected from the wreckage of Thanos's spaceship. The two were discussing intensely, while Loki leaned against a pillar not far away, listening expressionlessly.

"The Time Stone's fluctuations are clear," Strange said, pointing at the projected image, his brows furrowed, "but these energy trails have more complex components, similar to the distortion of The Multiverse energy. Rama-Tut's abilities are clearly not just time travel; he might be using some technology or magic more powerful than we anticipated."

"Can he be defeated then?" Tony asked, looking up mockingly while flipping through the screen, "I really don't want to encounter another guy against whom even a Mark suit is useless."

"Theoretically, everyone has weaknesses," Strange replied, but his tone clearly lacked confidence.

Loki interrupted: "Perhaps you should ask yourselves why a man who calls himself a pharaoh suddenly started manipulating time and interfering in our war."

Tony turned to look at Loki, raising an eyebrow: "Oh, really, god of lies. Do you have any brilliant insights?"

"I only know that all power comes with a price," Loki said, crossing his arms, his eyes complex, "Rama-Tut's cooperation with Thanos must have a purpose. It's just that you mortals might not understand the true logic of The Multiverse."

"Mortals?" Tony sneered, "Sorry, I forgot, Asgard is a temporary refugee camp now, you must be very proud."

Loki's lips curved into a cold smile: "The one saying that is relying on a pile of scrap metal to sustain his life."

Their gazes clashed, sparks flying. Strange sighed: "Enough, this is not the time for mutual mockery."

Just then, Dominic, Deadpool, Logan, and a few others walked over from the other side. Dominic walked to the table, his gaze stern as he scanned the projected image: "How is the analysis coming along?"

"In short," Tony replied, "Rama-Tut might be a bigger problem. He not only controls time but might also be using some technology or magic that we don't understand at all."

"This kind of enemy is good," Dominic nodded, fearless, "Only powerful opponents are worth taking seriously."

Deadpool interrupted: "Wait, wait, that sounds like a line from a game. Is the next line 'The stronger the BOSS, the better the loot'?"

"Will you ever be a little serious?" Logan frowned.

"Nope," Deadpool immediately replied, "But seriously, I think we can let Loki do something this time. Otherwise, why are we bringing this poor blond guy along?"

Loki gave Deadpool a cold glance: "If you say one more word, I'll consider throwing you into the time stream."

"Whoa, a threat!" Deadpool raised his hands, "Alright, alright, I'll shut up. But—" He turned to look at Dominic, his eyes a little sly, "What's the next step, Dominic?"

Dominic looked at Strange and Tony: "If the Time Stone can track Rama-Tut's fluctuations, we can find his whereabouts."

"That won't be easy," Strange shook his head, "Rama-Tut clearly understands time and space better than any of us anticipated. He might already be hiding in another dimension."

"Then make him come out," Dominic said calmly, yet full of power, "We will find him."

Loki looked at Dominic, his lips slightly curving upwards: "You have this confidence, that's good. But I hope you won't be like my brother, who only knows how to use brute force."

"Brute force is sometimes the most direct method," Dominic replied with a faint smile, "However, I will also consider more complex strategies."

Tony raised his hand to interrupt their conversation: "Alright, heroes, since you all have so many ideas, why don't we focus on solving the problem at hand?"

Deadpool immediately raised his hand: "I vote! I think we should eat first, and then decide how to kill this pharaoh's time alarm clock!"

"We don't have time," Dominic said coldly, then turned to look at Strange, "Continue tracking his fluctuations, I will be ready."

Strange nodded, and with a gentle wave of his finger, the content of the projected image switched to another rune analysis interface. The team behind him fell into contemplation, and the setting sun's afterglow gradually dissipated, the dark night sky enveloping the temporary base, indicating that a bigger storm was approaching.
