And so 1 month went by like this. Rito completed his daily training, With Genma and Yugao occasionally tagging along to Train with Guy and Duy.
The academy class had 3 more shuriken practice days and Rito's stats slightly increased due to the training. He still hadn't used his point because he knew his stats would stop improving so quickly at one point so he was saving them until then.
Rito unlocked his chakra with the scroll Hiruzen gave him
Rito also got started on the leaf exercise and was making considerable progress.
During this month the academy tested affinities and Rito got Fire and Earth Genma had Wind and Yugao Had Lighting Raido had Earth
He still hadn't met Kushina and was debating asking the Hokage if they were any other Uzumakis around but with her status as jinchuriki Hiruzen could very well lie.

Rito hit claim and a wheel appeared as he saw various taijutsu styles. He spun the wheel and saw various styles he knew like the toad and snake style and some he didn't the wheel landed on… Ember Strike. It was one he did not recognize he took the scroll out of his inventory and read it
A fiery, aggressive style focused on short bursts of explosive strikes combined with chakra-enhanced heat attacks. Think of it as "punching like a flame": fast, sharp, and burning through defenses.
Every strike hits with sudden acceleration, maximizing damage in tiny bursts rather than continuous blows. The user channels chakra into their fists and feet to slightly superheat them, allowing strikes to feel like "burning" pressure, causing pain and minor burns on impact. Strikes are designed to be unpredictable and stagger opponents with speed, noise, and heat.

When he finished reading the scroll he smiled, he always liked fire in the anime and not only did he have that affinity but he could also use it on taijutsu. He already had ideas for new moves to make but he would need more chakra control.
As for the chakra consumption he was an Uzumaki so he did not mind.
I got out of bed. It's a Saturday so no academy today. I'll do my morning laps then go bother Genma about sparring.
Rito quickly got dressed and dashed out to do his morning laps around Konoha, since it was a saturday he slept in so the streets were already busy making his morning run a little more tedious.
As I was running I saw many familiar faces, on my 2nd lap I saw Asuma Sarutobi sitting with kurenai having dango, and obviously ran into Might Guy and Duy still doing their morning training. Honestly their work ethic is admirable.
I finished my 5 laps around Konoha but i decided to have some food before I go home and bother Genma about sparring, as i was walking in the market place a wonderful smell intruded in my nose. I decided where I was gonna eat.
After about 3 minutes of walking I stumbled upon Ichiraku ramen, how did i forget about this legendary Shop I quickly go in to sit and order some ramen, i managed to save 480 ryo this month so why not treat myself, as I walk in two things catch me by surprise

I smiled at the notification but quickly put it away as I locked eyes with none other than Kushina Uzumaki,my only living relative in Konoha. I was gonna walk out but she called out to me.
"Hey HOLD IT, only one clan has hair like me whats your name"
I cringe inside as all the work I put into getting into Hiruzens good graces might just crumble down If he doesn't like me getting close with the jinchuriki, left with no other option however i slap a stupid grin on my face and say "just who are you screaming at you old hag, Im Rito Uzumaki and I'm gonna be the strongest shinobi one day"
I see in her eyes she's shocked, so shocked she didn't even hear my "old hag" comment. She rushes to my side and says. "Just who really are you there's no other Uzumakis so what game are you playing at brat"
I was stunned at first but then i remembered aside from minato she probably isn't very liked due to her jinchuriki status and she's been kidnapped before so she probably thinks someone's playing a cruel joke about her dead family, or worse wants to capture her again.
I put on an offended expression and say "you don't have to believe me, let's just go to the Hokages office". Seeing as there's no avoiding it now, I might as well play it dumb myself and put on the dump persona when Hiruzen asks me what I was doing. Ill say some random old lady started screaming at me about who I was then didn't believe me when I said it and even claims to be from my clan
Kushina huffs and says "ok fine by me brat but if you're lying I'm gonna pummel you" her hair starts floating, and i start sweating. To cover my nervousness I look away and start walking to the hokages office.
The walk there was silent, no one said much but I could feel her staring a hole into the side of my head. As we neared the door I went to knock but she just barged in dragging me in behind.her
Hiruzen looks up from his desk to see who dares enter his office without knocking as he was prepared to look at danzo, he sees Kushina Uzumaki and Rito Uzumaki. He starts to think of a lie but before he can form one Kushina's angry voice snaps him out of his thoughts
"Hey old man this brat here says he's an Uzumaki so either he's lying, or you are lying to me about my family. Her hair starts to float again.
I look at Kushina and finally understand her nickname "the red hot habanero". I cant just sit here like a mute if not Hiruzen might suspect foul play. "Yea Hokage Sama i was going to go eat at Ichiraku but out of nowhere this old hag screams at me demanding my name."
"When I tell her she doesn't believe me and drags me here" Hiruzen sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. He slowly starts to speak, praying his years of being a shinobi allow him to think of a reason as to why he didn't tell Kushina, he decides to bluff, hoping to Kami that Rito is smart enough to pick up on what he's trying to do.
"Kushina you see young Rito here was found a month ago unconscious in the land of fire. An anbu brought him back and since then he's been in the hospital so we can figure out who he is and the T&I building making sure he's not a spy today was his first day out, I was gonna go tell you but this mountain of paperwork stopped me"
I pick up on what Hiruzen is trying to do and play along hoping for a reward. Kushina is looking at me as if to confirm. "Yes Kushina san today was my first day and i decided to try that delicious smelling ramen but YOU stopped me"
Kushina has the decency to look sheepishly at Hiruzen and bow, muttering her apologies about over reacting. Hiruzen thanks whatever deity is out there for this and quickly says "worry not Kushina I understand, yes he is in fact a Uzumaki"
Kushina beams with joy and bear hugs me, as I'm about to pass out she releases me and I gasp for air.
Huff "don't" huff "do that" huff "again" but my part isn't over I look at Hiruzen and put an angry face on "Hokage sama why didn't you tell me I had family when I left to Ichiraku" I had to sell the part a kid like me finding out he has family but not being told
Doesnt matter if i arrived a month ago or a day aago as Hiruzen bluffed the kid would be mad
Hiruzen caught on and withheld a smirk "Well Rito Kun i wanted to call you both in at once but seeing as your both here now feel free to discuss"
So chattering went on in the hokages office for some time and finally Kushina left saying she had to go meet Minato somewhere but not before inviting me to hers and Minato's house for dinner today. I get too meet the yellow flash if i can get him to train me it'll speed up my progress.
As it was just me and the Hokage left i turn to him and say "Hokage sama how come you didn't tell me, she looked really angry and scary so I covered for you but ive been here a month it would have been nice to know I had family" I obviously knew why she's a jinchuriki but Rito didn't. I have to play this just right to get the shadow clone jutsu from the old man.
Hiruzen looks at me and says "Kushina is a very important member of the village her identity is of top secret so I couldn't tell you im sorry, but now that you know I trust you'll keep her identity under wraps"
I nod to the Hokage and shamelessly ask "say Hokage sama can you teach me a cool jutsu" there really was no need for a reason we both knew it, but stating it out loud would be bad as he's the Hokage so I cant demand a jutsu simply because he didn't tell me sensitive village information.
Hiruzen chuckles and says "Rito im very busy but i can have an anbu give you a scroll, what jutsu would you like" i smile and say "shadow clone jutsu, i saw some ninjas use it in a training ground and it looks really useful"
Hiruzen thinks about it for a second and I feel something entering my chakra pathway. I deduce he's seeing if I have enough chakra to make a clone. Then he nods and says "ok Rito Kun wait here an anbu will bring a scroll soon" I wait patiently after about 30 seconds an anbu flickers next to me and hands me a scrollI excuse myself and go to a training ground.

Rito can be seen training hard he hasn't even gotten started on the shadow clone jutsu yet hes just finishing his daily training hes only missing the kicks

With the last kick done I fall to the ground in exhaustion, I only need about 30 minutes before I can get started on training the shadow clone jutsu. As I wasted no chakra doing my physical training and only my muscles need to recover I can get started almost right away. Picking the Uzumaki clan was definitely the right move.
After the 30 minutes are up I stand up and read the scroll
Unlike the basic Clone Technique which produces mere illusions, this technique creates solid duplicates of the user. Each clone is capable of attacking, using jutsu, and interacting with the environment. When dispelled, the user instantly receives the clones' memories and experiences.

So I do the hand signs and mold my chakra evenly there's a puff of smoke and on the ground is a sickly looking clone.
After an hour I can get the clone to stand up but it still isn't a replica of me.
After 3 hours I finally succeed with the jutsu and the system rewards me.

So I opened my system panel and its a welcome surprise my chakra control went up and so did my stats but that's from the training.

The stat boost is nice but that perk is game changing. That means my chakra control is gonna get better 20% faster and when I actually learn jutsu mastering them wont be crazy hard. For now I'll have the clone start fire control training. Ok I better shower and get ready for Kushinas dinner. I don't want to miss meeting Minato.
