Chapter 1 - The Reincarnation

Drip…

Drip…

Where am I? Why is it so dark? Wait, have I been kidnapped.

No I remember dying, then why am I conscious.

[Welcome User], [Preparing For Transmigration ]

[Synching Data] What! TRANSMIGRATING this is just like the fanfics.

[System Successfully Activated] [Choose What Village You Would Like]

[Konohagakure]

[Sunagakure]

[Kumogakure]

[Iwagakure]

[Kirigakure]

I get choices? I'm already liking this system. I choose Konohagakure.

Wait why am I not freaking out.

[You Are Dead You Can't Feel Anything]

I guess that makes sense. Is it like a gamers mind?

Hello? System?

[No You Are Just Dead Gamers Mind Has No Effect On The Dead]

[Now] [Choose What Era You'd Like to Transmigrate Too]

[Warring States Period]

[First Shinobi World War]

[Second Shinobi World War]

[Third Shinobi World War]

Well I wouldn't want to be too old by the time canon rolls around. With Danzo roaming around, if I'm already an important figure in the village there's no way he'd let me get close to Naruto. But how old will I be when I transmigrate?

[You Will Be Able To Choose Your Age]

So many choices this might be better than my first life.

[Though Keep In Mind Age Is Not Relative To Power You Will Not Be Stronger If You Choose An Older Age]

ok that figures. So the system isn't insanely op. Oh well I still get to choose.

I chose the Third Shinobi World War. I'm gonna have to get strong fast if I don't want to be cannon fodder.

[You Will Spawn In Before The War Starts]

Ok that's good it'll give me time to get stronger. System how much time will be in between my spawn and the war.

[ You Can Choose The Time Difference Though It Will Cost You Points]

Points? System what do you mean by points.

[You Start With 150 Points] [ You Can Use Your Points For Character Modifications]

Character modification? What does that mean?

[You Can Trade Your Points In For: Boosted Stats, Choosing A Clan, Kekkei Genkai, And The Time Difference Between Your Spawn Date And The Beginning Of The War]

[If You Choose A Kekkei Genkai Thats Not Passed Down By A Clan You Will Forfeit Your Choice To Choose A Clan]

Ok that makes sense. I have to be careful though, with no clan protecting me Danzo could easily take me in for his root. Or even worse that Pedomaru could take me. Ok better to start with the clan list first.

[Preparing Clan List]

[Aburame] 60pts

[Ackimichi] 75pts

[Inuzuka] 50pts

[Uchiha] 150pts

[Nara] 75pts

[Shimura] 35pts

[Sarutobi] 50pts

[Hyuga] [Can Spawn In As A Branch Member] 65pts

[Uzumaki] 100pts

[Senju] 100pts

[Kurama] 65pts

[Yamanaka] 75pts

[Hatake]50pts

Yea inuzuka as if. System, what about the Senju and Uzumaki clans that are basically gone? How will that work for me?

[You Will Be Brought In By Shinobi Or Anbu]

Ok so the system won't make parents for me. Ok I will choose the Uzumaki. Will I be related to Kushina?

[You Will Be Distant Cousins]

I chose Uzumaki. That leaves me 50 pts. Can I save them for when I spawn in?

[No]

Then Best to use them on my stats or the time. Will age modification cost points?

[No]

Show me my spawn stats and how they're ranked in the shinobi world.

[0-10 Academy Student]

[10-25 Genin]

[25-50 Chunin]

[50-79 Jonin]

[80-100 S Rank]

[100+ Kage-Level]

[Your Spawn Stats At Age 6]

Strength - 6

Speed - 4

Vitality - 11

Intelligence - 5

Chakra - 11

[ To Upgrade A Stat It Is 1 point At First Then Doubles Every Time You Upgrade The Stat Again]

With 50 points I can upgrade a few. How many points to make the time between my spawn and the war longer?

[10 Points A Year]

If I can graduate quickly I won't need much time. Add 3 years to the difference.

[30 points Used, Spawn Set For 3 Years Before The Start Of The Third Shinobi War]

That leaves me with 20 points. System upgrade speed 4 times. 12 points left so five upgrades. I wouldn't be much of a Uzumaki without Ridiculous Chakra. Upgrade chakra five times.

[New Stats]

Strength - 6

Speed - 8

Vitality - 11

Intelligence - 5

Chakra - 16

[Prepare For Transmigration]

It was a day like any other in the Land Of Fire. Shinobi and Anbu alike dashing through the trees, either on their way to a mission, or having just completed one.

Laying on the ground was a 6 year old child. His shiny red hair had dulled. His clothes were dirty and ripped, a white shirt looking more like a brown one and his black pants ripped at the knees and thighs.

He was tall for his age, 4ft.

Before he could wake up a man wearing a black light fitted armor across the chest and shoulders. Plating on his forearms and shins. Flexible black pants, tucked into sandals designed for stealth,

but what stood out the most was his mask. Adoring nothing but one small star. He was the Anbu Commander of Konohagakure on his way back from a mission he saw the kid oddly resembling a young woman he had met once or twice in the village.

Without hesitation or delay he picked the kid up and continued traveling to Konoha.

[In Konoha]

The Hokage Building stood at the very heart of Konoha,

impossible to overlook. Its cylindrical walls rose higher than most of the surrounding rooftops, a constant reminder of the authority housed within.

At its peak, a wide, red cone-shaped roof flared outward, the symbol of the Hidden Leaf painted boldly across it in white. Behind the tower loomed the Hokage Rock,

each face of the village's leaders carved into stone, watching silently over the building and the people it governed. The placement felt intentional, as though the present leadership inside the tower drew strength from the legacy etched into the mountain behind it.

Within its walls, the building carried an air of both power and duty.

The uppermost floor opened into the Hokage's office, a spacious chamber lit by broad windows that offered a sweeping view of the village.

Staring at the Hokage rock was none other than Hiruzen Sarutobi, the third Hokage of Konohagakure. Known and feared as "The Professor" throughout the shinobi world.

On his hands there was a pipe filled with tobacco, before he could light it he felt something behind him.

[with the anbu]

Flickering into the Hokage office unannounced was not something I normally did, but with this kid potentially being who I think he is, Hokage-Sama needs to hear of this as soon as possible.

Hiruzen stared at the new person in his office, his kind and gentle smile instantly dropping. He quickly said "report".

The Anbu Commander wasted no time, "Hokage-Sama I was on my way back to the village having completed the mission and I ran into this kid laying on the ground" "do you think they are related"

The Hokage Stern look slowly softened. Hope slowly clawed at his heart that they were, but he was the Hokage he couldn't act just based on his feelings.

"Take him to the hospital, have a full anbu team constantly monitor him" " with tensions rising we can't rule out the possibility of him being a spy.

"Run a test on him to find out who he is, and when he wakes up inform me immediately, and move him to the T&I building"

The Anbu Commander tensed slightly and seeing as they were alone he dropped the honorifics. "Father is all this really necessary, they are a spitting image of each other".

The Hokage sighed, he hated this part of his job. " I can't risk the village's safety based on a whim, Shinnosuke This is standard procedure you should know this"

"take him away now and inform me immediately when he awakes I'll personally bring him to the T&I building with specific instructions for them not to overdo it"

[At Konoha Hospital}

The Konoha Hospital was quieter than usual that night. Its broad white walls and red medical symbol marked it as a place of healing, but for the ANBU stationed at every corner, it felt more like a fortress. Shadows shifted near the entrance and along the halls, silent masks watching every movement inside.

The boy was placed in a room at the far end of the upper floor, isolated from the other patients. The chamber itself was sparse white walls, a single window half-shuttered, and a bed dressed in crisp linens that seemed too clean for the dirt-stained child lying there. His dull red hair spilled across the pillow, a striking contrast against the pale sheets. A faint scent of antiseptic and inked sealing tags hung in the air, proof that even here, precautions had been taken.

To anyone else, the room might look like a place of rest. But beneath the sterile calm, it was clear: this was not just a hospital bed. It was a watchpoint, and the boy was not just a patient he was under suspicion.

Drip… Drip…

His eyes opened to a dim ceiling. For a moment, confusion held him still. White walls. A faint sting of medicine in the air. A bed too clean for the dirt still clinging to his skin.

So it wasn't just the system. I really… transmigrated.

He shifted slightly, only to freeze when he noticed the shadows. One masked figure stood at the door, another near the window. They didn't move, didn't speak—just watched. Cold porcelain masks, the kind he'd only ever read about. ANBU.

His throat tightened. Shit… of course. A random red-haired kid just drops into the middle of Fire Country right before a war? No way they trust me.

He let his head sink back into the pillow, pretending to be weaker than he felt. The system's words echoed in his head, taunting him: You are dead, you can't feel anything. But lying there, under those silent gazes, he felt plenty of fear, suspicion, and the sharp realization that one wrong move could brand him a spy.

For now, survival meant one thing. Play the part.

He forced himself to stay still, letting his breath even out. He could feel the faint thrum of chakra in the room, subtle but present, a constant reminder that he wasn't just lying in a hospital bed he was being watched, analyzed, tested.

Alright… play it calm. Don't give them any reason to suspect more than they already do.

His gaze drifted to the window. The moon hung low over the village, casting thin beams across the floor. The night was quiet, but it carried a weight heavier than any battle he'd read about in the system's histories. This was real. And right now, every second counted.

The boy's hands flexed under the sheets. Vitality, chakra… stats, system upgrades they meant nothing if he was eliminated before he could even move. For now, survival was his first mission.

A faint shuffle near the door made him freeze again. One of the ANBU stepped closer, silent as a shadow, mask tilted slightly as if scanning for signs of deception. The boy's chest tightened. He could feel the gaze piercing through him, assessing, calculating.

Let's see how quickly I can adapt.

The ANBU lingered at the door, silent and still, before finally speaking in a voice muffled by the mask.

"Name," the figure said, short and precise.

The boy hesitated. I don't even have a name they'd recognize… Do I give them a fake? He decided on the truth, keeping it simple.

"Rito," he said quietly.

The masked shinobi tilted his head, as if weighing the word against some invisible ledger. Then he gestured sharply. "Follow."

Rito swung his legs over the bed, wincing as his small frame protested. He kept his head low, his red hair brushing the sheets, hiding as much of himself as possible. Every step was measured, every movement careful—too fast, too confident, and they'd suspect.

The hallway outside was dim, lit by a few hanging lamps that cast long shadows along the polished floor. He could feel their eyes on him, scanning for microexpressions, any hint of abnormal chakra flow, or even hesitation. His pulse thumped, but he forced it down, telling himself: System says you've got stats and upgrades, but they won't save you if you panic.

One of the ANBU finally broke the silence. "Do not attempt to run. Any suspicious action will be reported directly to Hokage-sama."

Rito's mind raced. Run? I couldn't if I wanted to… and I definitely don't want to be executed before I even start. He nodded, keeping his face calm, letting his body do what the system had trained him for in theory: small, precise movements, no wasted energy.

They reached a small, heavily secured room at the far end of the wing. Inside, more ANBU waited, masks tilted, hands resting on weapons tucked under their armor. One stepped forward and opened the door.

"Bed," the figure commanded, and Rito obeyed, moving to the narrow cot in the center of the room. The blankets smelled faintly of herbs and antiseptic, but the boy hardly noticed. His attention was entirely on the shadows around him, the quiet hum of chakra scanning him from every angle.

"Rest," one said. "We will observe you. No one enters or leaves without permission. Hokage-sama will be informed of any… anomalies."

Rito lays back, chest tight, mind racing. He closed his eyes, letting the system's voice echo in his head: Survive. Adapt. Grow stronger before they notice your potential.

For the first time since he had arrived in Konoha, he realized something terrifying: he was completely alone in a room full of silent predators. And they were watching him like a chessboard piece, waiting for the first misstep.

Good, he thought. That means I get to play too.

The ANBU commander kept a vigilant watch as the boy lay on the crisp hospital sheets, his small chest rising and falling beneath the blankets. Hours later, the moment the child stirred, the commander sent the notification up the chain without hesitation.

"Hokage-sama," the message buzzed through the secure communication line, "he's awake."

Hiruzen's office, bathed in the pale light of the early morning, was quiet but tense. The third Hokage's eyes narrowed as he listened to the report. His instincts told him there was more to this child than met the eye, yet he had to temper hope with caution.

"Very well," he said, voice calm but authoritative. "Take him to the T&I building immediately. I want no delays and no mistakes. A full memory scan is to be performed. Keep me informed at every step."

The ANBU commander nodded silently, lifting the boy carefully and moving swiftly through the village. The streets of Konoha were waking, but few noticed the masked figure carrying a single child, the aura of authority and danger surrounding them like a shadow.

At the T&I building, the boy was placed in a clean, quiet chamber. The air hummed faintly with chakra. A Yamanaka shinobi approached, eyes focused and hands poised.

"Relax," the Yamanaka said softly. "We just want to see what we can learn from your mind. Nothing more… for now."
