Chapter 3 - Chapter 2: Hello world!

So peacefully quiet.

So comfortable as well.

But so suddenly as well, I open my eyes.

I am resting on a shoddy bed, and looking towards the "would be wall", a hole in the wall showing a seemingly endless forrest.

I stand upright, and walk to he edge of the room. I am 4 stories high, and seemingly in the ruins of a castle atop of a hill.

No other living being is seen anywhere close.

"Well, this is certainly peaceful".

Shocked by the change of my voice, it sounds light and feminine. Nothing alike of the voice I knew I used to have. But I seemingly cannot remember my previous voice.

Trying to remember it, the only thing I remember before coming here was the taste of blood in my mouth. Which, in my memory, tasted quite satisfying despite the pain I had at that moment.

I stol being distracted by my own thoughs, and check around my room for anything I could use.

There, a wardrobe with a broken mirror on top is seen.

I walk in front of it to see my current appearance, but it seems like I have no reflection?

I faintly recall a myth around a creature from my previous world.

"Wait, previous world?"

A splitting headache ensues as I try to remember stuff. But something like a wall is blocking my memories. Or they might simply not even be there anymore.

Well, nothin to be fixed here.

I look down and notice it just now but...

I am completely naked.

I am not feeling cold or anything though, must be a mild temperture for me outside not to notice.

I open the wardrobe, to see just one set clothing. Oddly, they looked like they would be something I recognize from a different time. But more fantasy~ish?

Before putting on my clothes, I stretch my body. I just woke up after all.

But while straetching, I notice my wings being blocked by the ceiling.

"Wait, wings?"

Flapping them around, I could control them perfectly fine. But I am sure that they were not something I had before.

Closing my eyes and focusing on this new sensation, as if suddenly having 4 limbs, I feel a substance flowing through them.

But as I notice it, I notice that substance flowing through my complete body. Not just the wings. Though, they are oddly enough more apparent in my wings, my finger tips and my teeth.

Wait, teeth?

Out of reflex I touch my tooth with my finger, but a sharp pain follows.

At that point, I notice my insanely sharp canines.

I put the finger on my mouth to suck the blood, but was shocked by this sudden heavenly taste. I even start to blush as I get lost in the taste for a few seconds, just to quickly regain my posture afterwards.

"That is dangerous."

I look at my hand, and the blood has stopped coming from the puncture.

It is a weird feeling though, as if the blood is something I can move as easily as my limbs. Just like...

Before her thoughts continued, blood flowed out if her fingertips and formed a small orb in her hand. And just as easily, I retracted it through the fingertips once again.

This feeling extended in my wings as well, as I try to retract them, and they simply "enter" into my body.

"Great, now I can at least disguise myself as a human. I don't know the standards in this world after all."

Once again, I walk towards the wardrobe. Picking up the clothes, a small letter was hidden underneath them.

//Hi there! You don't have a name yet so I cannot call you out directly but...

I might have gone overboard with the specs. In my defence, I have never had this many points to tinker with a soul. For this experience, I decided to reward you.

You might not remember anything, but these clothings were your favourite before you came here. Durable and easy to move in. That is why I grant you a set to start in your world. Not only that, but they have an auto-repair function and automatically fit your body, handy with your new limbs. You still have to clean them yourself though!

Anyways, good luck!//

I feel an inherent dislike for the person who wrote this. But they helped me regardless. So I can only be grateful and accept he gift.

I can see that I have white hair, and now I am wearing some baggy cargo pants, leather booths that end a little below my knees, a white tank top and a small jacket.

Certainly, these are slightly more medieval looking as usual.

Looking around, I find nothing else inside the room. I extend my search to the complete castle, but only ruins withijt treasure.

I move to the courtyard. Nature has certainly taken this place over, it must have been empty for ages.

"He could at least have given me a weapon like a sword. Even a basic one would suffice."

I close my eyes, and as if the image of a sword was easy to inagjne, I could feel the energy in my fingertips slightly 'enthousiastic' to change into this image.

So, I let it do it's thing. The result was a splended crimson red sword made of blood. But weirdly, this subtance of blood was as durable as steel.

"Guess there is iron in blood after all".

If these jokes that come up in my mind is an "altercation", made by the being who wrote the letter earlier, I am going to kill him one day.

(Deep into a seperate world between dimensions, a certain being sneezed)

Well, let's test this body.

I jump as high as I can. But unlike my "regular" jumping height, which my "experience" told me was about 1.5 meters in height, I jumped several stories in height.

I was going higher as the castle.

Instant panick as I fell from a distance that I would consider deadly

But a small crater was formed where I landed, and I seemed to be perfectly fine having landed on one knee.

I did not even feel any pain.

"Well, this certainly needs some test drives, not to mention..."

I fold out my wings, and try to fly.

I thought it would be difficult, but it came rather naturally. My body felt light like a feather. The strength in my legs gave a perfect launch, and the wings basically did the rest in the middle of the air.

I even had a lot of fun nust flying around the castle.

Half a day passed with me just having fun flying around, and jumping roof to roof on the castle.

This body felt amazing! Everything I wanted to do, was executed perfectly. Not to mention, the reaction time was ridiculous. I basically had no delay in "sending information to a limb" and "executing the order".

As I landed in the courtyard again, I crwated some knifes from my blood, and threw them towards some trees. The result was that a tree could be cut down easily.

"Holy shit, this body is a killing machine."

As I thought that, my teeth started to itch.

Well this is certainly a new feeling. But I guess I am hungry. The castle has no food, so I think it is already time to say goodbye.

To the forest. Current goals?:

1: secure food

2: look for any sign of civilization

3: make friendly contact
