Chapter 13 - the deal

*Chapter 13: The Deal*

Mira's eyes locked onto Leo's, a mix of gratitude and defiance swirling inside her. "I saved you," Leo said, his voice low and husky. "Even when you tried to escape, I saved you. Don't you think you owe me?"

Mira's heart skipped a beat as Leo's eyes seemed to bore into her soul. "What do you want from me?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

Leo's smile was slow and calculated. "Let's play a game, Mira. You have three options. Option A: punishment. Option B: A kiss. Or Option C: Tell me everything about yourself."

Mira's mind racing, she weighed her options. She knew she couldn't trust Leo, but she also knew she had to play along if she wanted to survive.

"Option C," she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll tell you everything about myself."

Leo's eyes gleamed with interest, and he leaned forward, his voice taking on a serious tone. "I'm listening, Mira. Tell me everything.":

Mira took a deep breath, trying to gather her thoughts. Where should she start? She decided to begin with her childhood, telling Leo about her life with her uncle, her homeschooling, and her isolated existence.

As she spoke, Leo listened intently, his eyes never leaving hers. Mira felt like she was stripping herself bare, exposing her deepest secrets and fears. But she pushed on, determined to survive this ordeal.

Leo's questions were probing, and Mira answered as honestly as she could. She told him she knows nothing about her parents and was raised by her uncle, her friends Angel, Caro, and Sam, and her life before she was taken it's not as if it was that interesting but the way Leo listen made her feel sparks she bearly talk to outsiders but her she was talking to her kidnapper a handsome one ...

As the hours passed, Mira felt exhausted but relieved. She had given Leo what he wanted, and maybe, just maybe, he would let her go.

But as she finished her story, Leo's expression turned thoughtful. "You're hiding something more deeper, Mira," he said, his voice low and menacing. "I can see it in your eyes. You think you can deceive me, but you can't."

Mira's heart skipped a beat he was right she told him everything except one part of life even she can't believe but promised her uncle to never tell. Had she said too much? Had she given away something she shouldn't have?

Leo's eyes seemed to bore into her soul, and Mira knew she was in trouble. She had underestimated Leo's intelligence, and now she was paying the price...
