The girl's screams grew louder, more intense, as Leo's men continued to torture her. Mira's eyes were fixed on the scene, her mind racing with horror and disgust. She knew she had to do something, but what?
Suddenly, the girl's eyes locked onto hers, and Mira saw a flash of desperation there. The girl's voice was hoarse from screaming, but she managed to whisper a single word: "Run."
Mira's heart skipped a beat. Was the girl trying to tell her something? Should she make a run for it?
As Mira hesitated, the girl's eyes seemed to bore into her soul. "Run," she whispered again, her voice barely audible.
Mira knew she had to act fast. She pretended to stumble, using the distraction to scan the room for any possible escape route. Her eyes landed on a door, she just couldn't but her legs had their own ways
Without drawing attention to herself, Mira began to edge towards the door. Her heart pounded in her chest, and she knew she was taking a huge risk. But she had to try.
As she reached the door, she glanced back at the girl, who was still being tortured. Their eyes met, and Mira saw a glimmer of understanding there. The girl knew what Mira was trying to do, and she was willing to distract Leo's men and leo to give her a chance.
But 'why'
With a deep breath, Mira slipped through the door and into the unknown...
