Min-jae's lips twitched despite himself.
Wasn't Meical being just a little melodramatic?
Still… he knew where it came from.
"I'm not going to start flirting with any man. No man is as handsome as my husband.."
Min-jae said dryly, lifting his hand so Meical could clearly see the ring still on his finger.
"And this isn't exactly an outfit that screams availability."
Meical didn't look convinced in the slightest. "Men don't need encouragement," he muttered. "They just need eyes."
Serin very wisely kept her mouth shut.
Min-jae softened, stepping closer and resting his forehead briefly against Meical's chest.
"I'll be careful," he said quietly. "I always am. And I'll write. About everything."
Meical exhaled, the fight draining out of him again. "…You'd better."
After that, things moved quickly.
Min-jae didn't pack much, no jewelry, nothing ornate.
