Chapter 18 - Saw-Shark on the Grill

The Going Meat Jr. bobbed like a bloody omen right in front of Arlong Park's jagged stone pier, its red hull gleaming under the harsh East Blue sun. Fishmen lined the walkways—tridents glinting like shark teeth, their scaly grins wide and hungry—assuming this was just another pathetic human vessel Nami had lured in for easy slaughter and tribute.

Inside the captain's cabin, Luffy knelt before a glowing inventory window only he could see, plunging both hands in like a starving kid raiding a forbidden pantry.

"Takoyaki time!"

Ten golden-brown octopus balls materialized in his palms—steaming hot, drizzled with sauce, bonito flakes dancing in the heat. Each one pulsed with a faint blue glow, humming with unnatural power.

"These are the 2× stat-boosters! Five for you, Zoro—eat 'em quick! Just think of your physical attributes increasing while eating."

He lobbed five to the swordsman lounging against the doorframe, his three swords propped lazily beside him.

Zoro snatched them mid-air, giving one a suspicious sniff. "Smells like cheap street grub. You sure these aren't laced with something that'll turn me into a frog?"

Luffy was already stuffing the first one into his mouth whole, cheeks bulging. "Mmph—delicious! Trust me—eat!"

Zoro shrugged and popped one, then another—chewing methodically at first, then faster as a volcanic surge erupted through his veins. His eyes widened, muscles rippling under his skin like coiled steel cables—thicker, denser, veins bulging like rivers of fire. His heartbeat pounded like war drums; every inhale flooded him with raw, explosive energy. He clenched a fist, feeling bones that could shatter mountains.

"Holy… shit…" he breathed, a feral grin splitting his face. "I feel like I could carve up the entire Grand Line."

Luffy swallowed his last one with a satisfied burp that rattled the porthole glass. His own body thrummed—stats doubled in an instant, pushing his strength, speed, agility, endurance, and stamina into Vice Admiral territory. Rubber limbs felt tauter, snapping with unholy force; he could sense the power coiling, ready to unleash hell.

He cracked his neck, that signature demonic grin stretching wide. "We're throwing a party today, Zoro. Grilled fish. Get 'em prepped."

Zoro's smirk turned bloodthirsty, eyes gleaming like sharpened blades. "About damn time for some real action."

Luffy strode out onto the deck, cupped his hands around his mouth, and bellowed loud enough to crack the pier stones.

"ARLONG! GET YOUR UGLY SAW-FACE OUT HERE! I'M HANGRY!"

[A/N: It's not a typo]

The massive doors of Arlong Park's main building slammed open with a thunderous crack. Arlong emerged—towering, blue-skinned behemoth, his serrated saw-nose glinting wickedly in the sunlight, gold rings flashing on webbed fingers like trophies from drowned fools. He looked pissed, like some lowlife had dared interrupt his morning gloat session.

"Who the hell is screaming my name like a dying seagull?" His beady eyes locked onto the red ship, then Luffy. "Another human rat scuttling in? And… Nami? You finally brought me some fresh meat to play with?"

His gaze slithered to Nami on the deck—rigid as a statue, fists clenched white-knuckled, Luffy's straw hat perched defiantly on her head. Arlong's laugh bubbled up, wet and vicious, echoing across the plaza.

"Still trying to be rebellious? Thought I'd beaten the fight out of you years ago, you worthless thief."

Nami's voice trembled, raw with eight years of bottled hate. "Luffy… he's—"

Luffy cut her off with a single, predatory step forward—his arm snapping back like a loaded cannon.

Gum-Gum Rocket!

The black-coated fist exploded across the plaza—faster than a bullet, air ripping in its wake. Arlong barely snarled before it smashed into his jaw like a wrecking ball. Bone shattered with a sickening crunch; teeth sprayed like bloody confetti. Arlong's head whipped back, his massive body catapulting through three reinforced stone walls, debris exploding in clouds of dust, before he skidded to a mangled halt in the courtyard, carving a bloody furrow in the ground.

Luffy landed lightly in the fresh crater, shaking out his fist with a casual flex. "Shishishi! Pathetic."

Zoro was already in motion—leaping from the ship like a green blur, swords unsheathed in a deadly triad. The fishmen horde charged him—tridents thrusting, blades swinging wildly, roars shaking the air.

Three-sword style erupted like a storm of steel.

First up: Kuroobi, the ray fishman martial artist, lunging with a spinning kick aimed at Zoro's skull. Zoro didn't even break stride—Wado Ichimonji in his mouth, the other two blades crossing in a savage arc.

Oni Giri!

The slash connected mid-kick; Kuroobi's leg severed clean at the knee, blood fountaining as he crumpled, screaming. Zoro followed through, a whirlwind spin disemboweling him in one fluid motion—guts spilling like wet ropes as the fishman face-planted into the dirt, twitching in a pool of his own filth.

Chew was next—the lips-puckering merman, spitting high-pressure water bullets like a living gatling gun. Zoro blurred forward, dodging the blasts with enhanced speed that made them look sluggish. He closed the gap, swords humming with Haki.

Tatsu Maki!

A tornado of blades engulfed Chew—slicing through scales, shredding fins, carving deep gashes that exposed bone. Chew's puckered lips parted in a final, gurgling brag—"You humans are noth—"—before Zoro's final thrust pierced his throat, silencing him forever. The fishman toppled backward, hitting the ground with a wet thud, dust billowing around his lifeless form.

Hatchan brought up the rear—six arms flailing swords like a deranged octopus, tentacles whipping for extra reach. "You'll pay for this, nyu!" he bellowed, charging with all limbs swinging.

Zoro smirked around his blade. "Six swords? Amateur."

He met the assault head-on—blades clashing in a symphony of sparks and screeches. Hatchan's extra arms gave him reach, but Zoro's doubled stats turned him into a demon: faster, stronger, deadlier. He parried four strikes at once, then countered with a brutal upward slash.

Yasha Garasu!

Crow demons of steel ripped through Hatchan's defenses—severing two arms at the shoulders, tentacles lashing futilely as blood sprayed. Hatchan whimpered, staggering back—"No, nyu! This can't be!"—but Zoro pressed, a final spinning decapitation sending the octopus head rolling into the dust, body collapsing in a heap of severed limbs and ink.

Within a minute, the named fishmen lay in pieces—eating dust literally, faces ground into the bloody dirt as Zoro wiped his blades clean on a rag of their own torn clothes. The rest of the crew backed away in horror, half the courtyard now a slaughterhouse slick with red.

Nami remained on the ship—brain a whirlwind of rage, terror, relief, and that twisted lust bubbling under her skin. She clutched the straw hat tighter, fresh tears carving paths down her cheeks.

In the storage hold, Usopp curled into a fetal ball—his nose now grotesquely elongated from some system prank—whimpering like a kicked dog.

---

Arlong clawed his way up from the rubble—jaw hanging crooked, blood gushing from his mouth like a faucet. "You… little… human shit!" he snarled, voice slurred through shattered teeth. "Do you know who I am? I'm Arlong! Superior to your pathetic race! I'll rip you apart and feed you to the sharks!"

He spat a barrage of water bullets—high-pressure jets that shredded stone where they hit.

Luffy dodged effortlessly, body blurring with his doubled speed, laughing maniacally. "Shishishi! Is that all you got? You're slower than a sea slug!"

Arlong bragged louder, desperation creeping in—"I've crushed villages! Conquered seas! Humans are insects to me!"—but Luffy closed the gap in a flash, planting a foot and driving his knee straight into the fishman's crotch.

CRUNCH.

Arlong's eyes bulged like overripe fruits; a high-pitched, strangled whimper escaped his throat as he doubled over, webbed hands clutching his pulverized balls. "N-no… not there… you bastard…"

Luffy grabbed the serrated saw-nose—twisted hard—and yanked. Arlong roared in agony, but Luffy coated his teeth in Armament Haki and bit down, snapping the nose clean in half with a gruesome crack. Blood cascaded like a waterfall; Arlong staggered back, whimpering now—"My nose… my pride… how dare you…"

No mercy. Luffy unleashed the finisher.

Gum-Gum Gatling!

Black-coated fists blurred into hundreds—each pounding like cannon fire. Ribs splintered; organs pulped; Arlong's body jerked like a ragdoll in a hurricane. He bragged one last time through bloody lips—"I'll… rebuild… stronger…"—then despaired, voice cracking into whimpers—"No… this can't end like… please…"—before the final throat punch snapped his neck with a wet pop.

Arlong crumpled—dead, broken, defeated.

Silence blanketed the plaza.

Zoro sheathed his swords with a satisfied click, blood dripping from the edges. "Not bad for appetizers."

Luffy stood over the corpse, breathing even. "Time to grill."

He turned to Nami—still on the ship, tears flowing freely. "Your village is free now."

She nodded shakily, sliding down the gangplank on trembling legs.

Zoro dragged Arlong's body to the center, while the surviving fishmen—chained and cowering—watched in terror. They ordered chire boy Usopp to bring the grill from the ship, setting it over roaring flames.

He carved a thick slab from Arlong's thigh—blood dripping thick and hot—slapped it onto the grill. The sizzle filled the air: salty, smoky, rich with forbidden flavor.

Villagers crept out from hiding—timid whispers turning to bold cheers as they saw their nightmare reduced to meat. Luffy flipped the steak, juices popping.

"Eat up," he commanded the chained survivors, forcing chunks into their mouths under Zoro's blade. They chewed trembling, gagging on their boss's flesh.

Nami approached last. Luffy offered her a charred, juicy piece. "For eight years."

She took it, tears splashing onto the meat. Bit down—chewed slowly—swallowed. "Tastes like… freedom."

Luffy's grin flashed bright. "Shishishi! Now the real party starts!"

DING!

[Quest: Grill the Saw-Shark – Completed]

Luffy's mouth watering. "Waah! I got so many Shark Skewers as bonus. "

Nami's eyes lit up like berry symbols. "Treasure first?"

Luffy nodded. "Loot everything that bastard hoarded."

She led them to the underground vault—hidden behind a false wall she'd mapped in secret. Zoro kicked the door in; gold spilled like a golden flood—coins, jewels, bars, beri stacks, stolen artifacts. Nami dove in, laughing maniacally, stuffing sacks with over two hundred million berries' worth.

"Eight fucking years… and now it's ours."

They took every single penny and stored them in the Going Meat Jr. Chore boy carrying heavy loads.

As Nami tallied, two figures appeared at the shattered gates: Genzo, scarred and cane-tapping, and Nojiko—blue hair tied back, toned body glowing, carrying a basket of tangerines.

They froze at the carnage. "Nami…?" Genzo rasped.

Nojiko dropped her basket, tangerines rolling. "What happened?"

Nami looked up, tears fresh. "We won."

Luffy waved a bloody knife. "We ate him!" He pointed at the grill, Arlong's thigh now golden-brown.

Genzo stared, confused, amazed, then laughed—rough and freeing. "You… ate Arlong?"

Nami nodded. "Leftover steak for the village."

While this is very close to cannibalism, their hate towards Arlong was so great that chewing Arlong sounds something divine.

Word spread; villagers flooded in—cheering, swarming the grill. Luffy summoned vodka barrels in a pyramid, frost gleaming. "Party time!"

Zoro cracked one open, chugging deep. "Fuck… premium shit."

The feast exploded—villagers carving Arlong and his goons into skewers, battering Hatchan's tentacles into takoyaki, frying Chew's lips into crisps. Revenge tasted divine: smoky, vengeful bites washed down with burning vodka.

"Revenge like takoyaki!" an old woman cackled, skewering more.

Luffy devoured slabs, moaning. "Fishman's delicious! Better than Sea King!"

Nami drank hard, laughing freely as villagers hailed her hero. Genzo approached Luffy. "You did it."

Luffy grinned around meat. "Shishishi! I'm gonna be King of the Pirates. This is the start."

Nojiko took over grilling—efficient, seasoning with herbs and spite. Luffy activated X-ray Vision: blue hair, tanned curves, full breasts straining her shirt, hips begging to be gripped. Premium meat.

He licked his lips. "Your cooking's killer. Join my crew as ship cook."

Nojiko laughed warily. "I am interested but not sure."

Nami pats on Nojiko's shoulder and assures her by gesture.

Luffy's eyes sparkled filthily. Divine cooking?! Food that powers up the crew?! And she begs to be my sextoy?!

He leaned in, voice low and hungry. "Wanna take an interview? Suck my cock, then I fuck you three times, creampie you full, and you beg to cook for me forever… as my personal plaything."

Pheromone effect increased by the system.

Nojiko froze, skewer trembling. Glanced at Nami—flushed, nodding knowingly.

Swallowed hard. "…Show me."

Luffy's grin turned victorious, filthy. The feast raged on—fires roaring, vodka flowing, villagers dancing on bloodied stones. Zoro drained a barrel and passed out grinning. Usopp trying to bluff to the villagers about how he killed Arlong with a single fart. But his nose keeps getting longer.

The real degeneracy was just heating up.
