16. "CHANGE"
If I don't change my ways, I would still be the same old me, the same old me that messed up a thousand of things for me, if I don't react differently to everything that's happening right now, I would still be the same old me.
If I get another girl just to cope with the fact that the special girl in my life right now, might be my heartbreak if this isn't supposed to be, if I let my fears and paranoia control me then I wouldn't be any different from the old me.
If I don't do as my father tells me to do in order to see change in my life, I'd still be the same old me that brought disappointment to my family every fucking time, if I don't listen to people's advices and think that my own advice is the only way to go, then I wouldn't be any different.
What would be the growth in me if I lash out on the only person that's down for me, what would be the growth in me if I push away the only person that genuinely gives a damn about me?
If I shut down because I've hit a downfall now, if I take out my frustration on somebody with my hands, I wouldn't be any different from the old me.
When you wanna be better, you do better.
17. "A WOMAN'S WARMTH"
Her touch has a certain effect on me, I can't stay away from it for too long, her energy too, she can make a bad day feel better, she has her way to lift the weight off my shoulders and that's without sex, a woman's warmth is the power within.
A female can wrap a man in her arms, and just unleash the demons in him, chase them out of the room, a woman can turn down the animosity in a man and turn on his vulnerable side, that's the power and the importance of a woman.
I don't wanna go too long without our contact, I can be on the phone with her, for an hour or two, on the bed and it'll feel like she's been next to me the whole time.
A woman's warmth can make a man feel like he's far from flawed, just because of her love and acknowledgement, a woman's touch can heal a lot of pain, a woman's warmth is like the touch of heaven and that's the power and importance of a woman in a man's life.
