"The defendants Mr. Luvert Meyers, Ms. Sandra Meyers, and Mr. William Meyers, are declared guilty as charged, for their crimes of Illegal activities related to Alchemical Experiments, Multiple Homicide, and forbidden use of Black Magic. The Court will now review their sentences."

The judge strikes the gavel.

Mr. Luvert's expression remained calm, even after they were declared guilty. But Ms. Sandra grew restless as she stood. Mr. William broke into a cold sweat. His eyes looked down in fear.

The noble looked at him and smirked "The end is near for your family, Mr. Luvert." as he laughed

Mr. Luvert fixed his eyes on him. With eyes resembling of a lion, intimidating the noble.

"W-why do you look at me like that? Just accept your fate, you filthy human! You have tormented my family for a long time! You and your accursed bloodline deserve death!" He shouted nervously.

"Despicable wretch... you know what you did. You and your lackeys will regret framing us!" Mr. Luvert growls at the noble, striking fear into him.

"H-Heh. A-arrogant old man." The noble stuttered. "Let's Proceed with the trial already!" He shouted.

The other nobles at the court agreed with him. They shouted in unison — "Death to the Meyers!"

The judge strikes his Gavel again. This time, he comes back with the final decision.

"For the heinous criminal offenses against the accused Mr. Luvert Meyers, along with his wife, Ms. Sandra Meyers, and his first son, Mr. William Meyers, will hereby be sentenced to Death by Beheading. The execution will take place 3 days from now on the Town Plaza, at 12:00 noon. Court is now dismissed."

The entire court celebrated in joy.

Mr. Luvert still has the same expression, as if he's accepting his fate.

Ms. Sandra cried in fear. "My love! I don't want to die! How about our children? We didn't do anything wrong! They are Innocent!" She said, as she looked at Mr. Luvert and hugs him.

While Mr. William's legs gave out. His hands trembling, and his face sweats profusely. He realizes that death is upon him.

The Guards quickly grabbed their arms, and escorted them out of the court. The nobles sitting at the stands threw objects at them, mocking them as they walked.

Three days later, the execution takes place. The citizens of the Royal Capital gathered at the town plaza, spectating the trial of the Meyers.

The Meyers stepped down from their carriage, while being escorted to their execution site. The cold wind of the plaza shivers them. The citizen's eyes burned with hatred. They look at them with despise. They threw stones, tomatoes, and objects at them as they walked. After a few minutes of walking, they arrived, where the Guillotine awaits them.

"For the crimes they have committed, the Head of the Meyers family, as well as his wife, and his first son, will be executed by taking their heads as a price for their sins. May his grace guide them to the after life." The words of the officer echoed to the entire plaza, while the Meyers are being put into the Guillotine, as the sharp metallic blade shines.

"Mr Luvert, head of the Meyers family. Do you have any last words?" The officer asked him.

Mr. Luvert's gaze swept at the plaza, with a resolved expression. There was no fear in his eyes.

"May the Truth come to light." He calmly said.

The officer lifted his arm, signaling the executioner to be ready.

"May the God Luminous guide you." The Meyers closed their eyes, waiting for their doom.

The wind stopped as the blade hovered above them. The crowd gasped.

He brings down his arm. The Executioner pulled the lever.

One by one, the weight of the sharp guillotine swiftly beheads them. The clang of steel echoed through the entire plaza — followed by a dread silence heavier than death. Yet, amidst the silence, Mr. Luvert's words resonated through the crowd.

The officer raised the heads of the Meyers as the blood pooled across the platform. The crowd shouted in joy, celebrating that the wretched noble has finally been executed.

Amongst the crowd, two kids covered in a cloak watched the execution.

"D-dad? Mom? William?"

The kid cried as tears ran down his face. The other kid consoled him, hugging his head.

"Schlein, Let's get out of here. I'll take care of you."

"Yes, Big brother Chris" As Schlein wipes his face. The two kids ran to the alleyway, finding a way to get home.

"Don't worry Schlein. I'll make those filthy people pay, and regain our family's honor back — no matter what it takes." Chris said to Schlein angrily. His words resonated to the young boy.

As Schlein looked back at the plaza, he remembers his father's last words. His teary eyes sharpened — resembling the same fiery look as his father. The eyes of a future clan head — burning not with grief, but with vengeance.
