Chapter 7

Sophie's scream shattered the sky.

As she saw Musa's headless corpse, rage boiled in her veins like wildfire. Her power surged. Crimson magic poured from her hands, incinerating waves of soldiers in a storm of fury. Flesh sizzled. Armor melted. She became a tempest of vengeance.

---

Meanwhile, on the eastern edge of the battlefield—

Kayogara clashed with General Moram.

The two legends moved like thunder — steel flashing, boots pounding against scorched ground.

Kayogara attacked with speed and venom, his strikes sharp and merciless.

But Moram, fighting one-handed with his dominant arm wounded, stood like a wall. Every block was precise, every counter full of purpose.

"Lord Kayogara!" Moram shouted between blows.

"You are the Emperor's son. This betrayal stains not just your name, but the pride of all Arkanians!"

Kayogara's eyes burned like lightning.

He spun into a brutal slash that sent Moram stumbling.

"You call it betrayal," he growled, "I call it justice. I've come for what was stolen from me."

He stepped back, smiling darkly.

Then he raised his sword to the sky — lightning gathering in its blade — and with a roar of thunder, struck the final blow.

General Moram collapsed, blood spraying like ink across the soil.

---

Now, only one target remained.

Kai.

He stood amid the chaos, fighting off a wave of Masup beasts — protecting Mira and Sizzel with every ounce of strength he had.

Kayogara approached slowly, surrounded by his horde — flying witches above, Masup soldiers behind, and death in his shadow.

Kai turned, bloodied but unshaken.

"Brother," he shouted across the battlefield,

"If you wanted the throne… I would have given it to you."

Kayogara's face twitched.

"You think I should have begged… for what was mine by right?"

His voice was cold. Detached.

"Then you never understood me at all."

---

Sizo stepped forward, silent and sharp as ever — prepared to strike.

But before his blade could rise—

Four Masup soldiers lunged from the shadows.

Their blackened swords pierced Sizo's chest in unison.

Blood burst from his mouth, coating his pale face in red.

Staggering, gasping, Sizo looked once more at Kayogara.

With his dying breath, he said:

"You… will face the consequences…"

Then he fell. Silent forever.

---

Kai roared and launched himself at the soldiers — but they swatted him away like an insect.

As he crashed into the dirt, dazed and wounded, Kaira stepped forward.

She said nothing.

But her stance was defiant — her body shielding Kai. Her trembling hands clenched into fists holding her half broken sword.

She would rather die than watch him fall.

Kayogara halted.

"Kaira… This isn't your fight," he warned.

"Step aside. I don't want to hurt my sisters."

But the battle had already turned feral.

Masup reapers broke through the chaos and seized Sizzel.

In seconds, they tore her apart — limb from limb — her screams lost in the roar of war.

Even Kayogara faltered.

He stared in stunned horror as his mother's blood soaked the ground.

The Masup General strode forward next — blade raised toward Mira and Kaira.

But Kayogara moved like lightning.

With one swing, he severed the general's head — the body collapsing like a statue of dust.

He turned to the reapers, rage filling every crack in his face.

"You were told to kill Kai—" he barked, "Not my mother, and not my—"

But he couldn't finish.

From behind Kaira, a giant Masup reaper emerged — silent and monstrous.

Before anyone could react, it swallowed her whole.

Just like that—another sibling gone.

---

And in the palace above, the flames of another duel raged.

Emperor Kaka faced Soma, the Crimson Witch.

Their battle would decide far more than a throne.

It would decide the fate of everything.
