Ervin's POV
I barely made it to my room before collapsing against the door. My entire body ached badly . I had to give it to that creeper. Juniper had worked me over good when she'd caught me following her. The woman hit like a demon, which made sense considering she probably was one.
I'd managed to escape before she could do permanent damage, but just barely and now I had to figure out my next move without Yin suspecting anything. He couldn't know about Juniper. Not until I had proof he couldn't ignore.
I cleaned myself up as best I could and changed into fresh clothes. Then I sat on my bed and thought.
Juniper was hiding something. Something big enough to kill for and it was somewhere in this house.
Think, think, think Ervin. I smacked myself repeatedly on the head. Juniper was really smart which means I had to think outside the box and also come up with a full proof plan or else I'd never live to tell the story.
