Tetsuya and Rias walked to school side by side, a crowd of students watching them, some gossiping in awe, some seething in jealousy. After all, both are very popular among their respective genders.
"What's that red-haired slut doing with our Tetsuya!"
"Aye yo, what's that Playboy piece of shit doing with my future baby mama!"
Tetsuya started to look irritated by the gossip while Rias looked more amused. Then, with a mischievous grin on her face, she clung to Tetsuya's arm, his arm straight up being enveloped in her boobs. Which made the crowd have an uproar of jealousy and outrage.
"That bitch better get her mammoth tits away from him before I rip them off!."
"Oh, and now that piece of shit gets to feel her boobs too?! Don't let me catch you lacking in the bathroom bitch boy!"
Tetsuya's eye almost began to twitch while Rias giggled as he scowled and said, "You're enjoying this, aren't you?!"
Rias then had a teasing smile, "Maybe just a little bit." Then she dragged him further into the school, rushing towards their classroom. Tetsuya eventually managed to pry her off his arm before they reached the door to enter the class, making her pout, "After class, we're going to the occult research club. I'll introduce you to everyone else, then Tetsuya."
Tetsuya then nodded, "Got it, although I don't know when we'll finish that project." Rias shrugged and followed up with "We'll figure it out as we go, it's not like it'll be that hard to finish up."
Then they walked into class, and the class reactions varied. The girls in the class looked like scorned ex-lovers, while the boys in class looked like rabid, jealous monkeys in heat. Then there was Akeno, who was already in class and smiling gleefully through the chaos.
After the initial drama, the teacher eventually quieted the class down, and it went normally. Tetsuya mostly just slept through the entire class, bored until the sound of the bell ringing woke him up. He stretched and got up, deciding to escape the class before the inevitable swarm came.
Rias and Akeno were already walking out the door, with Tetsuya walking after them, not wanting to linger around. As they walked, Akeno looked back at him with a teasing grin. "What, not going to greet your mommy, Tetsuya? And here I thought we had something special."
Tetsuya sighed, "I'm not calling you that." Akeno pretended to be wounded, dramatically holding her heart. "Oh, you wound me, Tetsuya, after we shared that special moment where you asked me to dominate you."
Tetsuya then deadpanned and said, "I just had a moment of weakness that day, and if you keep pressing me, I'll be the one dominating you instead."
{Akeno Himejima +3 Affection for not being a little bitch}
"Joke's on you, I'm into that too." Akeno said teasingly while sticking her tongue out, then Rias interrupted the banter, "Enough, you two, we're here."
The doors to ORC opened, and inside was Koneko sitting on the couch, munching on some snacks with her usual blank expression, and Kiba leaning against the wall with a smile on his face.
At the sight of Kiba, Tetsuya's face went pale as he remembered the nightmare he had gone through earlier that day. "Last night was amazing!" Kept echoing in his head full force like PTSD until he heard Rias's voice echo in concern, "Tetsuya, are you okay?"
Her voice gave him something to latch onto as he quickly regained his composure and coughed into his hand, embarrassed, "Yeah, I'm fine." then looked away, avoiding the gazes on him. "Okayyyy we'll let me introduce you to the others."
Rias then pointed them out individually, "The girl on the couch is Koneko Toujou, my rook, she's a first year student, making her your underclassman."
Tetsuya observed Koneko recognizing her from the show; she was a petite girl with white hair with two long bangs going past her shoulders and several loose bangs hanging over her forehead, while the back has a short bob cut and yellow eyes. He also notices the black cat hairpin in her hair.
After a quick observation, he just nodded at her while she gave her own subtle one back, then he looked away after not wanting his eyes to linger, so she wouldn't think that he's a pervert. Remembering that her at this stage dislikes them.
{New girl added to the affection system! Koneko Toujou +3 affection for not leering at her!}
"Man, that new trait really is broken." Tetsuya thought to himself, glad he didn't let his gaze linger for longer than necessary. As Rias then introduced his PTSD.
"While this is Yuuto Kiba, my knight and a second-year student."
Tetsuya reluctantly observed Kiba, noting his blonde hair and blue eyes, yet didn't focus on anything else as Kiba greeted him
"It's nice to meet you, Tetsuya." Tetsuya then nodded and simply said, "Likewise."
{Yuuto Ki-}
"Don't you fucking dare, system!" Tetsuya said angrily in his mind, and he swore he could hear his system laugh at him.
Then Rias carried on with the final piece. "Now, finally, as you already know, her Akeno is my Queen." Akeno then grinned slyly, playfully saying, " Yeah, but you can call me mis-." Tetsuya just cut her off, saying, "Hell no," making Akeno giggle.
Rias just looked amused by it all and clapped her hands together. "Alright! Now that introductions are out of the way, I would like to see some of your skills Tetsuya. So why don't you spar with Kiba?"
Tetsuya then grew excited, wanting to test out his new level, so he said, "Sure, I don't mind. Let's do it."
Rias smiled lightly. "Great, then let's go outside." The entire ORC then rounded up and went outside as Tetsuya and Kiba stood face to face, Akeno acting as referee. "Alright, boy's just a friendly spar, nothing lethal, and don't break the rules or I'll be the one who punishes you." Akeno had said with a small, sadistic grin.
Kiba summoned a sleek, blade in his hand, its polished edge gleaming under the sun. Tetsuya, standing opposite him, tilted his head with a faint smile.
"Mind if I borrow one?" Tetsuya asked, raising his hand casually.
Kiba blinked but nodded, manifesting another sword with a flick of his wrist before tossing it toward him. Tetsuya caught it in one smooth motion, the weapon sliding perfectly into his grip. He gave it a few test swings, and the way his trait surged made it feel as though the blade had always been his — not foreign, not borrowed, but an old companion.
Rias, watching from the side, raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you a mage, Tetsuya? Why the sudden interest in swords?"
Tetsuya smirked, twirling the weapon once before settling it at his side. "Let's just say… I'm a man of many talents."
His grip tightened. The blade fit his hand like it belonged there, as if it had been waiting for him all along.
Kiba adjusted his stance, one leg sliding back, eyes narrowing in focus. His smile faded into something sharp and serious.
"Here I come, Tetsuya!" he called out, voice ringing with determination.
Tetsuya shivered slightly, muttering under his breath, "Seriously, dude, don't word it like that…"
But Kiba was already in motion, his figure blurring with his inhuman speed. In less than a heartbeat, his sword cut through the air, aimed directly at Tetsuya's side. The sheer velocity of the strike was enough to stir the wind around them.
"Fast!" Tetsuya thought, his eyes widening. He wasn't nearly as quick, but instinct guided his hands. His sword snapped up at just the right angle, the clash ringing out with a sharp metallic clang! Sparks jumped between them as steel kissed steel.
Without missing a beat, Tetsuya shifted his weight and countered, bringing his blade in a swift arc toward Kiba's neck.
Kiba's eyes widened — just a fraction — caught off guard by the precision. For a brief instant, he realized Tetsuya's swing had the natural sharpness of someone who had trained for years, not a mage dabbling for fun. But his reflexes roared to life. He twisted at the last moment, narrowly avoiding the blow, the edge of the blade grazing past as he pulled back.
Landing lightly on his feet, a grin spread across his face. "Not bad, Tetsuya. You're better than I thought."
Tetsuya gave him a faint smile, lowering his blade slightly. "I just know my way around a weapon." He shifted into a smoother stance, the sword moving as naturally as breathing. "Let's keep dancing then, Kiba."
Kiba's smile grew wider. "Heh… careful what you wish for."
And with that, he lunged forward again, their blades meeting in a storm of steel. Each clash sent echoes through the field, sparks scattering as their duel picked up rhythm — Kiba's speed pressing harder and harder, and Tetsuya's instinctual mastery countering with precise parries and dangerously sharp counters.
The two of them grinned despite the clash Tetsuya's PTSD temporarily forgotten as he enjoyed the spar and testing out his new supernatural strength.
The steady rhythm of steel on steel rang through the room as Kiba pressed forward, his speed increasing with every exchange. His movements blurred like afterimages, each strike snapping toward Tetsuya's defenses faster than the last.
"You're slipping, Tetsuya!" Kiba warned, darting around him like a shadow, his sword cutting in from the side.
"I could be or perhaps…" Tetsuya parried, sparks flying as their blades met again. His smile widened as his stance shifted ever so slightly, becoming sharper, cleaner, smoother with every motion. "…I'm just learning your style."
Rias tilted her head from the sidelines. "Learning? But he's.." She paused, her blue eyes narrowing as she noticed it: Tetsuya's movements, once just reactive, were growing more refined. His timing was improving by the second, his blade moving with uncanny familiarity, as though each exchange was sinking deeper into his muscle memory.
"Looks like your new pawn has a lot of Talent." Akeno said to Rias as her eyes also followed the battle. Rias nodded almost in awe while Koneko observed, looking bored, but a flicker of curiosity could be seen in her eyes.
Kiba felt it too. The first few clashes had been at his tempo his speed overwhelming, setting his own pace. But now… Tetsuya's sword met his with frightening precision, cutting into his rhythm.
"I wouldn't believe you if you said you're a new swordsman," Kiba muttered under his breath, tightening his grip. He dashed forward in a blur, his blade arcing upward in a dazzling strike meant to break through defenses.
Tetsuya caught it cleanly, the clash ringing out like a bell. Their eyes met Kiba's sharp with focus, Tetsuya's glinting with calm confidence.
"Not bad, Kiba," Tetsuya said, his voice steady, "but I think I've adapted to you now."
In that instant, Tetsuya moved. His blade turned fluid, almost playful, weaving through Kiba's strikes with an ease that hadn't been there before. He wasn't just parrying anymore; he was anticipating and calculating. Each swing came a fraction faster, a fraction sharper, his body adapting to Kiba's incredible speed like it was second nature.
Kiba swung again, determined to push the pace, but Tetsuya slipped inside his guard, twisting his blade up and around. In a blur of motion, his sword stopped just short of Kiba's neck, the cold steel hovering close enough for Kiba to feel its edge.
The room went silent for a heartbeat.
Tetsuya smirked faintly. "Checkmate."
Kiba blinked, then laughed lightly and genuinely, full of newfound respect. He stepped back, lowering his blade. "You really weren't kidding, huh? You have some real skills."
Rias leaned forward, her arms crossed under her breast, smiling softly. "To think a mage could match Kiba with a sword…"
Koneko barely blinked and blankly "He's pretty strong."
"Looks like it's Tetsuya's victory," Akeno announced, but she was as intrigued as everyone else.
{Rias Gremory, Akeno Himejima, Koneko Toujou, affection +3 for proving your strength!}

"Holy shit" Tetsuya said in his head, almost in awe, that's one very strong ability he just obtained. He could kiss Rias right now if he didn't think he would get smacked for it.
Tetsuya played it off, though, lowering his weapon casually as if it were nothing. "Guess I'm just more talented then I thought.."
Kiba gave him a wry smile. "Fast doesn't even begin to explain it."
Rias then smiled, happy about Tetsuya's strength "Alright, we have an idea of what you're capable of now. Let's go tell you about some of your new responsibilities."
Tetsuya sighed, "Devil responsibilities.. what a pain."
Looks like he won't be able to test his new ability anytime soon.
AN: I kid you not Tetsuya's luck is fucking insane. For those who don't know, I randomly roll for abilities, traits, etc for him through the chaos gacha. This man really just rolled Sukuna's kit. I'm still shocked myself. He's gonna be broken faster than I anticipated.
