After I finished chatting with others for the day, it's finally time for me to upgrade some of my skills since I have extra proficiency points.
Then I look once more at my current status.

(A/N: Bat+man= Batman, not the one who has severe issues with his dead parents and the way he coped was to fight crime for no reason, just kidding I like bats but why can't a man using a bat called batman? It worked with Swordsman. Why not this too? Honestly it's Batman's fault for existing.)
My eyes widened at the newest addition to my skills, it's safe to say that the zombie virus did get me, since I wasn't bitten by any zombies my assumption of the virus being airborne is accurate, the fact that I haven't turned into a zombie means that it's still at early stage and needed some time or to die to become one.
Exactly like The Walking Dead.
Being bitten by a zombie will only accelerate your turning.
Originally I intended to use my points to upgrade my breaking to figure out my limit, but knowing this immunity skill, I wouldn't be able to sleep soundly at night if I won't gain complete immunity toward the virus.
Without hesitation I put every point into gaining more virus immunity.
Casual to Expert.
There weren't any changes to my attribute stats, except for one.

It became almost twice as before, although it's subtle but I can tell that there's a change in my body, it's like I'm overflowing with vitality.
I felt healthy, too healthy in fact. It's similar to a feeling you woke up at the right side of the bed and felt energized.
But on a permanent basis, it felt real good although, I don't quite understand what ascendant labeled means but it must become my stats transcend what humanity could achieve.
It's impossible to have that kind of number unless you're physically modified solely for body enhancement.
With this number I could assume that I'm immune to most viruses.
Then I sat at my gaming chair or if you could even call it that, it's the most common white plastic chair in existence.
The one Vergil used, except that you can't aura farm like he did.
It's so plain and basic, why the heck this kid keeps using it when I know that his family could afford to buy a decent gaming chair.
They might not be rich, but they're wealthy enough to buy a gaming chair!
The insurance of his father ensured that they could live in luxury until college, but apparently the kid did not mind using this plastic white chair or cared enough to change it.
His PC might be good but his other setup is trash. I decided I'm going to make some changes after I get my first pot of gold, which is the royalty money I'd get from my novel.
I opened the PC and checked my email and saw good news. It came directly from the publisher's official email saying that Your Lie In April was approved for serialization.
The details consist of terms and agreement, to sign and such.
There's also the so-called parent approval if the creator is a minor, bank account and concept art for the artist to draw for the LN.
Frankly it's an overcomplicated setup, if everything was done online.
Of course, there's also the option of personally going to the company's main building. Kadokawa's company building wasn't too far from where I lived.
I just needed a half-hour train ride and I'll arrive.
Although I have to call for the editor who recommended my novel in advance for a face to face meet up.
Because frankly going directly to the company was way easier and less hassle, but the problem is that I need permission as I'm currently grounded and can't go outside.
However, that isn't exactly a big issue and so that very day I went and confronted Kaede about this issue.
—
-Kaede-
Today something unexpected happened, her son suddenly called for her and asked her if it's okay for him to go out.
Her initial reaction was to reject him, because he's still grounded and she still hasn't forgiven him for what he has done.
At first she thought that he only beat up the foreigner a little and it was just an overreaction from the officials that they had to suspend her son for a few, but after a few days she knew that extent of the injury that foreigner received from her son, broken arm that was unlikely to be heal, multiple fracture in the head, a broken nose and the worse part the foreigner manhood.
Completely destroyed, no chance of recovery and needed extensive surgery so that he would be able to take a piss, not directly from his dick from a hose installed.
So yes, her sweet summer child who she thought couldn't do such a devious act, ruined somebody else's life completely.
It was such a shocking discovery, the fact that her son only got suspended a few months is nothing but a slap at the waist.
How lucky her son to be just suspended, and wasn't dragged straight into a juvenile despite his crime.
Kaede wasn't a racist by any means, it seems that her son was or at least she thinks so because there's no reason for him to go that far unless he hates foreign yankees.
If only she knew what would happen in the future if Hiroki didn't cripple the guy, but she didn't, so she remained clueless and thought her son was unforgivable.
"No, you're still grounded." She was firm with this decision.
"Look, it's not like I want to go out."
"Clearly lie, since you want to see Nao." To her surprise her son had the look of absolute disgust as if he heard the vilest thing on the planet.
"Ew, no I don't want anything to do with that leftover. In fact the farther away I am from her the better."
Kaede was stunned not expecting him to say such a thing toward his girlfriend. Nao was such a nice girl. This was her impression of her son's girlfriend.
That's why she felt a spike of anger for the girl as she doesn't deserve to be hated unjustly by her son. "Hiroki! You shouldn't say that to her, especially since she's your girlfriend!"
Hiroki blinked a couple times, before chuckling until it turned into laughter. "Hahahahah! Her? My girlfriend? Over my dead body, she's not my girlfriend, not anymore."
"Huh..?! W-what are you saying?" Kaede was greatly confused by this news.
"What I'm saying is that we're no longer dating, even though we didn't officially break up. Tell me, has she ever visited our house after the incident?" Hiroki questioned with a confident smile.
"No…she hasn't." Which was weird considering she always visits her son on a daily basis.
"Not surprising, considering that she's visiting that foreigner lover of hers that she cheated me with, now that his dick is gone would she continue being by his side? Since she's not here answers my question ain't it? She never loved me, she loved my muscularity but never me, so when a better one appeared she didn't hesitate to use her legs to lock him in." Hiroki's words were filled with loathing toward his girlfriend- no, ex girlfriend instead.
As if being enlightened about the 'real' reason why he beat the foreigner, she understood why her son went that far because of his girlfriend Nao!
It was a shocking revelation that she didn't expect. "Nao did what?"
"She cheated, I saw them and I did what I could to release my frustration. I never regretted it and here we are, but that's not important, not anymore. What I want is your hanko (personal stamp) and permission to go outside since the novel I've been writing online is being serialized." Hiroki said with a rather casual voice.
Kaede snapped out of it, and still has many questions regarding Nao, but that could be asked later as for now her attention was into the novel her son was talking about.
"You wrote a novel?"
"Light novel, but essentially yes. If you don't believe me I can show you the proof. I wrote it because I had nothing to do."
Kaede wasn't sure what to think of that, but in the end she could only accept but with a condition, she will go with him to the company.
And her son's reaction toward her condition wasn't a happy one, but there's nothing he could do about it and so, he could only accept it albeit reluctantly.

A/N: He made an excuse to why he beat up the guy, well there's some truth in it, but it's mostly excuses. He just beat the guy because he disliked him that much.
