"Order cannot exist without chaos."
A clash of steel and ideas echoed throughout the air, shaking the very world itself with each strike.
"Give the boy to me and you might live to breathe again."
Pushing down the black blade bathed in blood, its crooked edge intends to bring one more soul dangerously close to death.
"A lovely deal don't you think? Especially for a mortal in over his head!"
Cut by the blade sitting on his neck, the man in red's blood dances down the edge of the two blades.
"And let you take me from my family?"
Driven by rage he bends the blade back, cracking it with his palm.
"I'd rather kill them myself, before I let them suffer one second by your hands."
With the first drop of blood falling through the air, he strikes the enigma, slicing its guise to shreds, the large gashes across its pale white skin were brought to light.
"So that's what you look like under the mask, I'll make sure I remember your face — long after you're dead."
Oozing pink blood from all over, it licked the blood on its skin, savoring it as the wounds began to close.
"Ha, ah that's too good!"
"You're far stronger than you look, but I should expect that much shouldn't I? Absolon, the Arbiter."
Swiftly closing the gap between them the man in red strikes, severing its arm and kicking it away.
"You talk too much, hurry up and die."
Launching himself at the enigma he becomes a blur, leaving the sound of screeching shockwaves behind with each strike as his silhouette shifts. Knocking it around through the air and sending it crashing into the ground creating a massive crater. Balancing his blade inches from its throat, the enigma leans its body low to the ground, narrowly dodging death, as it barely manages to block Absolon's finishing attack with its blade.
"You won't get lucky twice."
Pulling his blade back, Absolon moves swiftly around the enigma. With his blade dancing in his palm he lunges forward, splitting the black blade in two right down the middle. Lifting his blade up to the sky, Absolon dragged it back down with immense force, intending to end it all with the fall of his blade.
Smiling as its carmine eyes meet Absolon's cold gaze, the enigma took on a lucid form with pale white skin and a small frame with bones ripping out the skin. Crackling as it contorts its form, twisting each joint, bending each bone, morphing every aspect of its body on a whim.
"Oh don't worry! One time is all I'll need."
Dipping below Absolon's vibrant verdant blade, the enigma's hands grow into jagged claws as it shifts to the right leaping sideways, losing its legs to the powerful slash splitting the ground and severing its torso, sending it flying through the air. Regrowing its lower half the enigma turns its legs that stayed behind into skewers that spin and chain together flying at Absolon from behind, only to be easily shattered on impact with a wave of his fist.
"No matter what cheap trick you use, it won't save you."
Shaking the blood off his blade, Absolon walks towards the enigma clinging to the ground.
"I'll make sure you die by my hands."
Pure malice in its eyes, the enigma digs its claws deep into the ground ripping through the rocks and fauna. Shooting up through the ground one after another claws tore through the ground, spiraling around Absolon caging him in as they relentlessly fell from the skies rushing towards him.
"If this is all you've got I'll make this quick."
Swiftly matching the pace of the onslaught from above, Absolon deflects each claw effortlessly, knocking them into the ground as sparks fly. Resurfacing from beneath him, Absolon leaps off of a claw making its way back up. Realizing they will come back endlessly, giving the enigma time to recover, Absolon slams his palm against the sky, shattering the claws into countless shards that rain down from above.
"You're in such a rush Absolon! Don't tell me you're getting tired already when we've only just begun!"
"You should try to savor this fight – you'll be nothing but another rotting corpse when we're done. Kept to remind me of the fun we had, of the chaos we caused."
In the corner of his eye, he saw a creature hiding among the shards, making its way above him."
"Careful when you let your eyes wander, your sight will fail you."
Seeing the enigma nowhere to be found, Absolon turns to the one creature watching it split over and over again, becoming many moving amongst the shards.
"A coward's way to the very end, a being like you deserves no power."
Slamming his right foot into the ground, the sheer force of it pulls the shards to the ground. Leaving none other than the enigma above him, fusing itself back into one, transforming itself into a massive grotesque beast letting out a deafening screech.
