The storm raged through the arena, shaking everyone's hearts. All eyes locked onto Goku.

At that moment, he didn't look human anymore. To them, Goku looked like a monster—something far beyond mortal.

The shock had done its job. With a calm smile, Goku pulled his power back. The fear in everyone's hearts eased, but none of them could forget what they just felt.

"It seems no one has any objections," Goku said softly, almost casually.

After everything he'd been through in the future world, his control over his power was so sharp, so refined, that he didn't even need to transform. Just by standing there, he could unleash force on the level of gods.

Universe 6 viewing area

Champa, the God of Destruction, fell back onto his seat, trembling. His body betrayed him, reacting to the storm of Goku's aura.

"Just his aura alone… reached this level?!" Champa's heart pounded. That momentum—he knew it. It was the kind only a God of Destruction should have.

But this wasn't a god. This was a mortal.

"Who the hell is this Saiyan…?" His mind raced, unable to accept it.

Vados, however, smiled faintly. So it really is him.

This was the same Saiyan who fought Beerus ten months ago. And now, he had climbed even higher. If only he belonged to our universe, she thought.

Universe 7's side

Everyone stood frozen. Warriors, gods, angels—no one could speak.

But Vegeta's chest burned with frustration.

"Damn it, Kakarot… you've actually reached this point?!" His fists shook at his sides. He remembered the nights of endless training, even lowering himself to ask Whis for help. He thought he had closed the gap. He thought he was ready to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Kakarot.

But this… this was different.

Kakarot wasn't just ahead—he was in another dimension entirely.

Beerus sat with his usual calm expression, but inside, his heart shook. He remembered how powerful Gogeta had been in Super Saiyan 4 God Blue form. And yet this aura… was on that level, maybe even more.

How long has it been? Beerus thought. And this mortal has already grown this much?

"Lord Beerus," Whis teased, a sly smile on his lips. "Care to share your thoughts?"

"Hmph. It's… nothing special," Beerus muttered, pretending to be calm. But everyone knew the truth—he was shaken.

Back in the ring

No one felt it more clearly than Gohan and Hit.

For Gohan, his chest filled with pride. This is my father… His eyes burned with hope.

For Hit, though, it was different. He saw Goku like a mountain that could never be climbed. Just standing near him crushed his will to fight. If this man entered the tournament… there would be no chance of victory.

Goku crouched beside his son, placing a hand on his shoulder. "You've gotten so much stronger, Gohan. I can see you've been training hard. I'm proud of you."

"B-but…" Gohan's voice shook.

"You still have power inside you," Goku continued, his tone calm but heavy. "When you fight with your heart, when you truly let go… no one in this world can stand against you."

With those words, Goku floated back toward Universe 7's platform.

"…Dad."

Gohan's chest tightened. The pain and fatigue that had weighed him down disappeared. His father's voice, his father's smile—it gave him the strength to rise again.

Hit frowned. "So, you're his son… No wonder you're strong. But it doesn't matter. His power won't save you. You'll never beat me."

Gohan's lips curved into a small, confident grin. "We'll see about that."

His aura roared to life, higher and fiercer than before. His whole presence changed.

Hit's eyes narrowed. "His aura… it's even stronger now."

Gohan raised his fists, eyes sharp and fearless. "The real fight starts now!"

Universe 7 platform

Goku sat quietly beside Piccolo. Beerus and Vegeta kept their eyes fixed on the ring.

"Who do you think will win, Goku?" Piccolo asked, curious.

Goku folded his arms, smiling. "I don't know. Hit is tough. But Gohan… I believe in him. He's got it in him to win."

Piccolo smirked. "Then let's see it."

Arena

The air grew tense as Gohan and Hit faced each other again.

Neither moved. But behind their calm stares, killing intent flared.

Finally, Gohan stepped forward. "If you won't move… then I will!"

He launched himself forward, his fist blazing with ki.

Hit activated Time-Skip, slipping 0.1 seconds ahead, his fist darting straight for Gohan's chest—

"Got you."

Boom!!

Everyone gasped.

Gohan had blocked it.

The impossible had just happened. Hit's Time-Skip had been stopped.

Hit was surprised, but he didn't hesitate—he launched another strike.

This time, he changed direction, using his time-blinking skill again. He jumped 0.1 seconds into the future and struck from Gohan's right side.

"Here!" Gohan, already expecting it, charged up and kicked to the right.

BOOM!

The heavy kick landed clean on Hit's abdomen, and the impact sent him skidding back.

Hit took two steps, then three, before finally steadying himself. His face looked calm, but his heart was uneasy. Gohan's reactions didn't feel like luck.

"How did you see through my tricks?" Hit asked, voice low.

"The same attack won't work twice on me," Gohan said firmly. "Every strike of yours gets carved into my body. I don't even need to think anymore. My instincts will handle you."

His words carried so much confidence that everyone from Universe 7 fell silent for a moment. Could it be true? Imprinting his enemy's attacks into his body and fighting on instinct alone… wasn't that too terrifying?

Hit narrowed his eyes. "Just instincts? If that's true… then your instincts are monstrous."

"I've seen through all your moves already," Gohan shouted, his aura blazing. "Now it's my turn to strike back!"

He rushed forward, fists flying.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Each punch and kick shook the air, waves of pressure exploding around them.

Hit's time-skip was useless now. All he could do was defend as Gohan pressed him back, step after step. For the first time in centuries, Hit felt rusty. His hesitation was costing him, and his defenses were falling apart under Gohan's relentless assault.

Seizing the chance, Hit tried to counter. He blinked forward, aiming straight for Gohan's throat—

—but Gohan was already there.

He grabbed Hit's wrist mid-strike.

"What?!" Hit's eyes widened as his arm froze in Gohan's grip.

"Got you!" Gohan roared, his fist driving upward into Hit's jaw. The blow snapped his head back and lifted him off his feet. Before Hit could recover, Gohan spun with a whip kick that smashed into his abdomen, sending him reeling to the edge of the ring.

Blood rose in Hit's throat, his body aching from the twin strikes.

Gohan landed, his aura fierce, his voice steady. "The tables have turned. I've broken your rhythm completely."

Universe 7 erupted in cheers. Even Beerus, though trying to stay calm, had a spark of respect in his eyes. Weiss simply smiled knowingly.

Hit, though battered, wasn't finished yet. He wiped the blood from his mouth, his calm mask finally breaking. His eyes sharpened.

"HAHHHHHHHH!!!" For the first time, Hit let out a battle cry. His aura exploded, purple flames surging upward.

Gohan's eyes narrowed. So… he's still got more to show.

Hit's power spiked as he abandoned his time-blinking tricks, charging Gohan head-on with pure speed and strength.

BAM! BAM! Their fists collided again, the shockwaves shaking the entire arena.

"You're not using your special moves?" Gohan asked, blocking easily. "If you fight me head-on, you don't stand a chance!"

But Hit only smirked faintly, his fists moving faster.

The clash grew fiercer. Gohan's instincts flared, his body moving like a wild beast, each punch stronger than the last. Hit defended desperately, sweat dripping down his face.

From the stands, Universe 7's warriors shouted encouragement. Even Piccolo clenched his fists with pride. This wasn't the quiet, polite Gohan they knew—this was a warrior born from battle.

But in Universe 6, Champa's panic was obvious. "Hit! If you lose here, don't bother showing your face again!" he roared.

The two fighters clashed again and again, until finally—

"It's over!!!" Gohan yelled, gathering all his power into one crushing punch.

As the fist shot forward, Hit vanished. For a split second, the crowd thought he'd fallen—

—but then purple light flashed.

Hit reappeared, his punch already connecting with Gohan's chest.

CRACK!

The blow slammed into Gohan's heart, sending him flying back ten meters. He skidded across the arena floor, clutching his chest, his breathing ragged.

His eyes widened in shock. What… what just happened? My instincts should've dodged that…

Hit straightened, his aura swirling. "I've improved. My time-skip… isn't 0.1 seconds anymore. Now, it's 0.2."

Gohan's face twisted in pain and disbelief. "Tch… that fist… it was heavier than anything I've felt before." Cold sweat poured down his face as he tried to stand.
