Goku turned to face the glowing tunnel. He felt the strange pull of space and time swirling inside. He didn't know the Great Priest's true goal, but he could tell this wasn't a trap.

He nodded. "Alright. Thank you… Great Priest."

Without hesitation, he stepped forward. His figure vanished into the tunnel as it closed behind him.

Silence returned to the corridor.

The Great Priest stood alone, his eyes shining with mystery. "What began as a simple act has created a new god. A god who still calls himself human. Interesting…" His smile deepened. "Let's see, Son Goku. In the far future, how far will you go?"

Then, just like that, he vanished.

Inside the space-time tunnel, Goku pushed forward. Around him, chaotic storms of time and space raged like violent rivers. If he slipped, he could be lost forever.

But the Time Ring he carried from defeating Black Goku glowed softly, guiding him, shielding him from the worst of the storm.

Goku's eyes lit with determination. "Alright… time to move forward. No matter what waits ahead, I'll face it head-on!"

Unlike the old one, this ring could send him not just to the future but also to the past. Almost like it was created just for him.

Guided by the ring's pull, Goku kept moving forward through the tunnel. After flying for what felt like forever, he finally reached the end. A bright white light shined ahead, and without hesitation, he rushed straight into it.

Dragon Ball Super Timeline

Ten months had passed since Goku fought Beerus, the God of Destruction.

In that time, his friends searched everywhere, trying to figure out where he went. They used the Dragon Balls on Earth, even the ones on Namek, but nothing worked.

Shenron's power was limited. It couldn't break through the barriers of time and space. Even Beerus and Whis couldn't do much—rules bound them too.

Everyone started to believe Goku might never come back.

But three days ago, something big happened. Champa, the God of Destruction from Universe 6, came to challenge Beerus. They agreed to a bet: both universes would pick five warriors to fight in a tournament on a nameless star.

If Universe 7 won, they'd get the six Super Dragon Balls Champa had collected. If Universe 6 won, Earth itself would be transferred to their universe.

Since Goku was missing, the lineup for Universe 7 had changed. Vegeta took the lead, and with him were Gohan, Piccolo, Majin Buu, and Krillin.

Back at Mount Paozu, Goku's home, space suddenly twisted open above the house. A tunnel formed, and from it, Goku stepped out, landing right in front of his home.

"I… I'm back." Goku smiled as he looked at the house he knew so well.

After being away for so long, he couldn't wait to see Chi-Chi again.

"Chi-Chi! I'm back!" he called out, pushing the door open.

But the house was empty. His smile faded. A strange feeling grew in his chest. Extending his senses across the planet, his eyes widened.

Everyone he knew… their ki was gone. His friends, his family… all of them had disappeared from Earth.

"What's going on?!" Goku clenched his fists. The first thought that came to his mind was Beerus. Could Beerus have wiped them out after Goku vanished?

His anger started to rise, but he forced himself to calm down. "No… I can't just assume. I need to know the truth first."

Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and expanded his senses further. His mind stretched across galaxies, searching…

Meanwhile, at the nameless star, the Universe 6 vs Universe 7 tournament had already started. Four of Champa's fighters had fallen, leaving only one—Hit, the deadly assassin.

His last opponent? Gohan.

Since Goku disappeared, Gohan had trained harder than ever. He pushed past his limits, surpassing even his old prime. For him, this fight wasn't just about pride—it was about hope.

Beerus, watching from the stands, smirked. "This is it, Gohan. Your father's chance to come back depends on you. Don't waste it."

"I won't let you down, Lord Beerus." Gohan's voice was sharp, steady. His eyes burned with resolve.

Vegeta gave him one last warning. "That guy… he's no ordinary fighter. Be careful."

"I know," Gohan nodded, then stepped onto the stage.

Hit walked out as well, hands in his pockets, his aura calm but dangerous. The two locked eyes.

"Begin!" the referee shouted.

"Raaah!!!" Gohan didn't hold back. He exploded into his full Mystic power, his white aura blazing across the arena like a storm.

Hit's eyes narrowed. In the blink of an eye, Gohan was in front of him, fist flying toward his face.

But Hit didn't flinch. His body shimmered as he slipped into Time-Skip. Before Gohan could even react, Hit's counter strike slammed into his throat.

Boom! A flash of purple light exploded, blasting Gohan backward all the way to the edge of the ring.

The spectators gasped. Not even Vegeta or Beerus had clearly seen Hit's move.

The assassin smirked, calm as ever. "Too slow."

What… what just happened?! I didn't even see his fist… not even the motion of him raising his hand… Gohan wiped the blood away, his body trembling, but he didn't charge in recklessly this time. His instincts screamed at him—something was strange about Hit. Until he understood it, he couldn't afford to rush.

Hit slowly pulled his hand from his pocket and raised his finger toward Gohan. His calm voice carried provocation.

"You… are too slow."

That taunt lit a fire inside Gohan. His aura burst out again, blazing brighter than before. His combat energy surged, his resolve burning through his pain.

I don't know what technique this guy is using… but if I can't figure it out in battle, then I'll never win.

"Let's go!" Gohan roared, lightning flashing around his body as he launched forward. His fists and kicks rained down like a storm, each blow filled with desperate power.

But every time his strike neared, Hit slipped away—like time itself bent to his will.

"Almost… I was so close!" Gohan growled through clenched teeth, his frustration pushing him harder. His attacks grew wilder, and that's when Hit saw his opening.

"Got you."

Hit's fist glowed purple as it smashed into Gohan's waist.

BOOM!

The impact tore through him. Blood sprayed from his mouth as his body flew back, crashing near the edge of the ring again. His face paled, cold sweat dripping down, his whole body screaming in pain. Fear flickered in his eyes.

His moves… they're not just strange. His fists… they're like hammers. If I hadn't trained back to my prime, that blow could have killed me.

Hit's voice was sharp and cold. "Give up. You can't win this fight."

"What… did you just say?!" Gohan's eyes widened, his heart pounding with rage.

"If you continue, you'll only suffer more. I won't kill you, but you'll be close to death."

Hit's words carried no emotion. To him, the battle was already finished.

That arrogance cut deep into Gohan's pride. He straightened his back despite the pain, smirking with defiance. "So you're saying you could kill me anytime you want?"

Hit stayed silent, but the look in his eyes was enough of an answer.

"Don't underestimate me!!! My power is stronger than you think!" Gohan roared, his aura exploding once more, fueled by pure will. His ki surged higher, refusing to bow down.

"Tch. Stubborn." A cold light flickered in Hit's eyes. He had given Gohan a chance, but the boy refused to yield. Now, he'd end it.

Meanwhile, on Earth, Goku's senses spread across the universe like waves. He searched through countless life forces, desperate to find even one familiar presence.

Just when he thought his worst fear had come true, a powerful energy caught his attention.

"This… this is Gohan?!" Goku's eyes widened. His son's aura was blazing—far stronger than the last time he had seen him.

"Looks like you've been training hard, Gohan. You're even stronger than before." Relief filled Goku's chest as he sensed more familiar ki—Vegeta, Piccolo, even Beerus.

But then, another aura flared near Gohan. Strange, sharp, and deadly. A kind of energy Goku had never felt before.

"…Who is that? He's fighting Gohan?!" Curiosity and concern twisted inside him. In the blink of an eye, Goku locked on to the source and vanished with Instant Transmission.

Back at the ring, the battle raged on.

Hit's strange technique and ruthless precision kept Gohan completely on the defensive. Blow after blow landed, each aimed at a vital spot. Gohan's body was covered in wounds, but he refused to fall.

I won't quit… Not here… Not now! His fists clenched, his eyes blazing despite the pain.

Hit, watching, felt a small spark of respect. "You're the first to endure so many of my strikes." His voice stayed calm, but his next words were final. "But this ends now."

CRACK!

Hit's fist smashed into Gohan's jaw. The world spun. His feet left the ground, his vision dimming as he collapsed backward.

On Universe 6's side, Champa burst into laughter, mocking Beerus nonstop.

Beerus ignored him, his sharp eyes narrowing at Vegeta. "You're next. Lose this fight, Vegeta… and you know the consequences."

Vegeta scowled, arms crossed. "Hmph. Don't lecture me, Beerus." His mind wasn't on the threat. His focus was locked on Hit.

His movements… I can see his fist, but when he attacks, it disappears. Even my eyes can't follow it. What the hell is this technique?

The pressure on him was real. The next fight would decide everything.

The scene shifted back to the ring.

Hit's cold eyes stared at Gohan lying on the ground. His scarlet gaze showed no mercy.

He lasted longer than most. He even took more hits than I expected. He deserves respect… Hit thought. But respect or not, Gohan still fell.

"The fight's over. Referee, announce the result." Hit slipped his hands back into his pockets and turned toward Universe 6's seats. To him, it was finished.

The referee finally snapped out of his daze and was about to check Gohan's condition—when the air twisted.

A ripple spread through the arena. Space itself shook.

In the blink of an eye, Goku appeared right next to his son.

"Wha—?!" Hit froze mid-step. His instincts screamed danger. His killer's sense had never lied to him before.

This man… he's not simple. I can't see through him at all. It's like he's hidden behind some endless fog.

"Gohan…" Goku's voice was heavy. He looked at his son, bloody and broken on the floor. Rage boiled inside him, sharp and hot.

Gohan stirred at the sound. His blurred vision slowly cleared, and the moment he saw the face before him, his heart shook.

"T-This can't be… Dad?!" His voice trembled, eyes wide. For a second, he thought it was just a dream. But no—this warmth, this aura—it was real.

"I'm back, Gohan." Goku smiled faintly, though his eyes burned with anger. "But… what happened? That guy did this to you?" His gaze cut toward Hit, and just that glance made Hit tense up.

It felt like his entire body was exposed, like nothing about him could be hidden from Goku.

"Yeah…" Gohan coughed, blood on his lips but still speaking clearly. "He's… the last fighter of Universe 6. His moves… I couldn't predict them. I almost lost completely."

All around, the crowd exploded.

Universe 7's stands were filled with gasps.

"No way… Dad?! That's Dad!!" Goten shot up from his seat, shouting with pure joy.

"It really is him!" Krillin's eyes teared up as he yelled, his voice cracking.

"Goku…!" Bulma covered her mouth, and a long-lost smile spread across her face.

The Dragon Balls they had fought to gather suddenly didn't matter anymore. Goku was here. He had come back on his own.

On the main platform, Vegeta's eyes widened, his chest tightening. "Kakarot… he's back?!" His voice was mixed with disbelief and frustration. He hadn't even sensed Goku arrive until it was too late. That alone told him—Goku wasn't the same as before.

Piccolo crossed his arms but couldn't hide his smile. "He really made it back… old fool."

Beerus's jaw clenched. He remembered the last time he fought Goku. He thought the Saiyan was lost forever, erased into the cracks of time. And yet, here he was again.

"Beerus-sama," Whis teased, his staff glinting, "aren't you going to say anything? You look surprised."

"Hmph." Beerus crossed his arms, pretending not to care. But his narrowed eyes said otherwise. He had already noticed—it wasn't the same Goku. The strength, the aura, the presence… it had changed.

Still, Beerus scoffed. Even so, he can't be stronger than me. I am Beerus, God of Destruction.

On the Universe 6 side, confusion spread like wildfire.

"Who is that?!" one of their fighters muttered.

Only Vados's eyes widened in realization. "So… he's the Saiyan. The one who fought Lord Beerus not long ago."

Her words sent a chill through everyone.

Meanwhile, Champa slammed his hand down, furious. "You dare interrupt my tournament?! This god will destroy you where you stand!!" His aura burst out, shaking the arena.

Universe 6's fighters quickly moved aside, terrified of being caught in his wrath.

The destructive power pressed down, suffocating. Even Gohan and Hit felt the weight. If Champa got serious, they wouldn't last a second.

But Goku didn't flinch. His eyes locked on the God of Destruction.

"Sorry for interrupting. I only came because I felt my son's life force fading." He spoke calmly, but his voice carried a hidden edge.

"I'll step back and let the match continue… but there's something I need to correct." His gaze sharpened. "Mortals are not toys for Gods of Destruction to crush whenever you feel like it."

Then his eyes narrowed.

BOOM!

A wave of power erupted from him—wild, unstoppable, shaking the very heavens. The aura storm swallowed everything, drowning out Champa's killing intent in an instant.

The stars around the nameless planet quaked.

Both Gods of Destruction froze, their pupils shrinking. Even Vados and Whis, who never lost their calm, had flickers of surprise.

This pressure… this presence… came from a mortal?!!
