Wolverine Logun stumbled, crashing against the ground. Blood spots spread across his body, growing darker and more critical by the second. What was worse, his once-legendary self-healing ability seemed completely restrained.
"What did you do to me?" Wolverine asked, glaring at Ophelia, trying to piece together what had happened that morning.
Ophelia's expression remained calm. "It seems you're not as strong as the legends say. And now… you're realizing you might not even hold on."
Logun's heart tightened. Exhaustion weighed him down, though he could barely comprehend the full extent of Ophelia's manipulation.
"Some people call me Lady Viper," she said, gently stroking the tip of her snake, her smile tinged with sadness.
With a deft motion, Ophelia dragged the dazed Wolverine into the trunk of her car.

"Damn it."
Ophelia searched the area but found no trace of Wolverine. The loss of his self-healing, combined with her toxins, left him completely vulnerable. Naturally, he had no choice but to slip away.
At his peak, Wolverine Logun would have had no reason to fear Ophelia. But now, faced with his severely weakened state, resistance was futile. He either had to flee or be stunned.
As Logan disappeared into the shadows, Ophelia left the scene. She had far more pressing matters than chasing a temporarily incapacitated mutant.

Somewhere in a quiet corner, Wolverine Logun struggled on, his mind set on finding Xu Fu. With Xu Fu's strength, Logan knew that Ophelia—or anyone else—could never be a true threat to him.
When Xu Fu returned with Starlight and Zhen Lizi, he immediately received a secret report: Wolverine Logun had returned, gravely injured.
Xu Fu instructed Starlight and Zhen Lizi to rest while he went to check on Logan himself.
The ward was tense. Yukifu was already there, watching over Wolverine. Since Logan had been brought from Canada by Kiev, Yukifu felt a great responsibility for him.
"Your Excellency Xu, what's the situation?" Xu Fu asked, eyeing Wolverine's unconscious form.
"His self-healing is gone. He's like an ordinary person now, poisoned from within," Yukifu explained. "Someone is definitely targeting him."
Xu Fu examined the scars covering Logan's body. Under normal circumstances, these injuries would have long since healed.
"No one in the Eastern Dwarf Country should have enemies like this," Yukifu said, her expression cold. "Who would target Logan?"
"This isn't a simple matter," Xu Fu said thoughtfully. "We need to let him stabilize first before making assumptions."
"Can you heal him, Your Excellency Xu?" Yukifu asked urgently.
"I'm not a doctor," Xu Fu admitted. "But I know someone who is."
"Who?" Yukifu asked, intrigued.
"Shi Di Staging Konanzai," Xu Fu replied.
"The man known as the God of the Scalpel?" Yukifu gasped. In the Eastern Dwarf Country, the reputation of Shi Di was legendary. Some even speculated that in the MCU timeline, he was destined to become the future Doctor Strange.
"Alright, Yukifu, contact him immediately. We'll need his expertise," Xu Fu instructed.
The healing room was well-equipped, prepared to handle a patient of Logan's caliber. Xu Fu guided Logan onto the table, his own power already beginning to counteract the toxins coursing through Logan's system.
Moments later, Logan's eyes flickered open. Recognition and relief crossed his face.
"Xu Fu… you saved me again," Logan said weakly.
"Not yet," Xu Fu replied calmly. "First, tell me exactly what happened."
Logan took a deep breath. "I was chasing the attending doctor assigned to Yuan Qianjian's treatment… and now I know why I was attacked."
"Yes, I know," Xu Fu said, nodding.
"She's a mutant," Logan continued. "She can spread toxins. And my healing… my self-healing ability is gone. She did this to me."
Xu Fu's expression remained unreadable, already calculating the next step
