The cool ocean breeze of the beach hit my skin lightly at first it took all the confidence I could muster to come here because I know I and mum needs the money I spent here,she feels I Anthea the carefree daughter she ones knew have become more of a book worm, I have to read to get a scholarship so I can go to college, but the I wonder what I have done to earn this all of this I asked myself still lost in my thoughts
'hey Anthea how are u ' I turned to find Chloe one of the girl I met at high school, stand right in front of me
'hey Chloe how are you I never thought I would meet you here ' I asked her almost surprised, she is one of the rich kids and classy girls in school I never thought I would meet someone like her in this side of the town not to talk of the beach,
' I came to the this exasperating, aggravating and swarming place because of my cousin sister that wants to say hi to her boyfriend I can see u are enjoying the view here i don't expect less ' while she spoke I look at her I saw my hand move to her hair and pulled it
'Anthea stop, stop this please your hurting me' she pleaded and it gave me joy,
' stop u say I should stop this is for all the times u never ever keep ur mouth to yourself I said with my voice higher than usual I dragged her to the beach and dipped her head in it.
'Anthea! Anthea!! 'Chloe called out
'Yeah' I answered looking around we were still at the same spot it was an imagination how I wish it was true
' Anthea are u listening to me did u hear what I said Jess tell me you didn't' she said with the hint of irrigation in her voice

' ok I said we are having a get together next month and it cost just $20 all of our mate will be there it will be paid to lisy, but it's no problem if u can't pay we all know you didn't have up to that amount I wonder how u got into this place' she said and immediately walked out to meet up with Olivia her cousin I think she said something to her then Olivia waved and I waved back.

But then most times I wonder what I and my mum did to deserve this, am Anthea seven years ago my dad left us, he left because he borrowed money from this man, which was a very feared Lord it was said that who ever got involved with him always had a lift time of regret, my dad knew this I wonder why he still got involved with this kind of man, I don't know why he got into gambling and this Is where it lead us, out of anger I packed my bag, I would have given this money to mum she would have made good use of it instead of wasting it here then I wore my cloth on the bikini I was on and decided to go to the library instead, I was greeted with the big wall ' of the city library I smiled to myself
' At list I will have peace' I said to myself
I walked into the library then upstairs to one of the reading areas and dropped my beg then walked to one of the shelfs to pick up one of Williams Shakespe books ' Macbeth' but then my hand couldn't reach it then I started stretching
'Hey you little girl why don't you ask for help' the librarian called out
I turned and the looked around, because she knew me she shock her head then in a whisper she ask
'What book are you looking for today my dear'
'Macbeth by Williams Shakespeare' I replied shortly
'Oh dear it's high up'
The woman around my hight said then she looked around and her eye fall on this guy I don't notice was there
'Please dear could you kindly help me with this book' she said while pointing at the spot where the book was then he stood up walked to were the book was took it and handed it to me then I took notice of his face he was on a nose mask he has a green eye and a brown hair which was beautiful I wonder how he manage to take care of his hair when I don't have that time or should I say don't have that money, then he gave the book without saying a word and walked away.
'Thank you ma ' I said will my head slightly bowed and went to sit
'Wow that was close' I thought
I looked up to at least check if he left the moment he gave me the book aside from the fact that he is handsome no doubt but he gave this stay away feeling even from how far he was from where am sitted
I didn't want much all I wanted was to say is 'thank you' for his help
I should just wait for when he is ture and possibly appreciate
I concentrate on the book I was reading even though it was a tragedy but it was heart capturing,
I heard a slight pull of the chair then I looked up he was about to leave,
'wait it's past six whatda mum will surely be pissed if I get home late'
I quietly and quickly went back and dropped the book were my hand could reach
I turned to find out he was not there any more
'Fuck can't he just talk his steps slowly' I cursed internally
Then quickly ran to the entrance when I step out side he was lost in the crowd.
