The interviewer asked the IDOL'S to sing their hit song "Same Girl" live on the show. Before they began, he asked if they had their phones to connect to the Bluetooth. Han forgot his phone, but the others had brought theirs.
"I'll connect," Jace said, and they agreed.
After a few minutes of arranging the technicalities with the operator, the connection was successful. The interviewer announced, "It's done, let's continue."
The crowd fell silent as the beat started playing. "Let's go in three, two, one..." Adriel began singing, his voice smooth and emotive.
"I thought I'll be good, I thought it'll be okay
Without you here with me"
Kai joined in, his voice blending harmoniously with Adriel's.
"But now I know I was wrong, now I'm so eager
Wishing I'll turn back the time, but now it's too late
Because you're far away beyond the clouds"
Han added his part, his voice deep and soulful.
"I've been walking dark, I've been living in misery
Missing the touch on my hands, your voice that is just like a whisper in my ears"
Jace joined in, his voice intense and passionate.
"Now it's too late, oh now I need ya
I need you"
The group sang the chorus together, their voices blending in perfect harmony.
"Cause I've searched over the seas, the hills and mountains, even the valley
Wishing I'll see you one more time
Cause I've been walking dark, I've been living in misery
Missing the touch on my hands, your voice that is just like a whisper in my ears"
The crowd erupted into cheers and applause after the song, and the interviewer praised their performance. "Woah, that was good! Thank you."
Adriel smiled, pleased with their performance. The interviewer then asked, "I'm surprised Jace and Han didn't rap. You all do solo, is there a reason for that?"
Jace responded, "Well, we just thought that it'll be good if we don't rap. We wanted something different, right?" Han nodded in agreement.
The interviewer smiled, impressed by their creativity. "Well, I'm impressed. It surprised everyone how you changed it up."
