Viviane and Raegan were fighting another orc lieutenant.This orc lieutenant appeared to be wearing red war paint across his green skin.He was slightly leaner then the other orcs but no less muscular.
Viviane was level 2 with Raegan being level 3.Both of them were elite humans.The orc lieutenant was stronger then them though.Viviane and Raegan were currently hiding behind a forcefield created by Viviane.
"Get out of there goddammit." The orc lieutenant hammered away at the forcefield but was only making minor progress in breaking through.
Whenever he managed to break through the forcefield Viviane would just make another one.Not to mention due to being a dungeon mob within her own dungeon her mana might as well have been infinite.
"This is getting nowhere but what do I do?" The orc lieutenant thought to himself.The forcefield was incredibly durable that was no question.It left no gaps.Wait a second.Did the forcefield go under ground.
The orc lieutenant grinned to itself which left Viviane and Raegan confused.Why was the orc grinning when it hadn't broken through the forcefield.
The orc knelt down dug its fingers into the ground underneath the forcefield and then lifted.The orcs thick fingers found the edge of the forcefield.The forcefield quickly revolved around as the side opposite the orc dug into the ground.
As the dome was halfway into the ground the orc found itself face to face with the two elite humans who were dumbfounded by the orcs physical strengh.They both drew their spears but the orc simply grabbed one in each hand and yanked them out of their hands.
Raegan charged the orc as his head developed large antlers and his skin grew salmon scales to cover them.He aimed to stab the orc in the torso with his antlers.
Raegans rare rank level 2 skill Gluttons Manifestation enabled him to manifest anything he ate with his body.He had recently eaten some stag meat and salmon meat.Its level 2 upgrade enabled him to manifest multiple meals at once.
Thud
The antler points made contact with the orcs chest and stomach.Contrary to what Raegan was expecting however the antlers didn't pierce through.The orc flexed as its war paint glowed and its skin looked like unmined ore.
"Hmmmm that was weak I probably wouldn't have been seriously harmed even if I didn't use my martial art or body formation."
After speaking the orc lieutenant grabbed a bewildered Raegan by the antlers and drew a knee into his face while simultaneously ripping both his antlers off.The salmon scales did little to dull the impact as Raegan had a concussion on the spot.
The orc turned its head to the side as a blade shaped forcefield cleaved the place where its head was a moment ago.The orc recieved a small cut on its neck.It looked to Viviane.
Viviane had deactivated the dome shaped forcefield to create the blade shaped forcefield.Vivianes rare rank skill forcefield projection was currently level three.
She had gotten to pick two upgrades for her skill due to its level.The first upgrade she picked enabled her to create a forcefield that was heavily magic resistant.The second upgrade enabled her to change the shape of the forcefield.She did however neglect the upgrade that enabled her to create multiple forcefields.
The orc simply walked forwards,stomping on Raegans concussed head and crushing it which killed Raegan instantly.Upon Raegans death his body dissolved back into the dungeon.
This was the first time an elite human had ever died within the dungeon.The orc noticed something as it looked towards the ground.It was a scroll which the orc put away and decided to look at later.
Right now the important thing was winning the battle.The orc lieutenant was about to strike down Viviane but sensed some danger from behind.It turned around and let out a backhand.Katarina who had just teleported recieved the backhand to the cheek and was sent tumbling to the side.
Viviane was surprised that the orc was getting faster and stronger too judging by its increasing presence.It became clear that while orcs got stronger through fighting they got even stronger through winning fights.
While Katarina was on the ground Viviane saw the orc let out punch.A fist imprint appeared in the air and rocketed towards Viviane.
CLANG
A warrior drone appeared in front of Viviane blocking the blow but its armour was dented somewhat by the impact.The drone rapidly repaired as Frank used his repair skill.
"Don't let these savages kill you Viv.My father in law would be angry if I let you waste one of your respawns."
