Gaia was ecstatic to say the least.She had been needing more essence and most of the orcs had delivered themselves to her on a silver platter.

Her essence bar had also filled out as the humans that died and returned to her were stronger then when they had first spawned in hence they made extra returns.
It was time to go on a spending spree.Maybe she would expand the dungeon or buy a couple more boss humans to fill out her dungeon.She would need to spawn in more respawnable wildlife and fruits if she wanted to feed the humans.She should also try spawning in a boss human with a bloodline as an experiment.If the results were worthwhile then she would probably do it again.
She was also close to level 2 and gaining a new ability.That was something to look forward to.

Gordon Lazuli was bored.There was nothing to do.Most of the paperwork of the bloodline academy was done by his staff.Not to mention the noteworthy fighters that could fight him inside of town were either away on other errands or belonged to other factions inside of town.
Gordon was also getting close to the C rank but he needed one final push or some inspiration to push him to the next level.
A spark of electricity appeared in the air before an orb appeared.Gordon lifted his head to see the orb.There was a familiar face within the orb.
"Ahhh Gordon I see that you're close to breaking through I happen to be in the same boat."
The one on the other end of the orb was an elf sorceress by the name of Eldora Galvano.She was an old acquaintance of Gordon Lazuli and was also at the peak of D rank.She was also a professor at the leading sorceror academy,one of the three main academys in the world.
"To what do I owe this acquaintance Lady Galvano."
"Oh no need for formalities and etiquette Gordon that's not what I'm here for.I've heard rumours of a new dungeon who's inhabitants use peculiar magic and I wanted permission to check it out."
Eldora Galvano put her hand under her chin and looked at Gordon as though she was pleased with herself.
"So the sorceror academy wants a piece of the pie that is the Gaia dungeon.Well I knew they would find out sooner or later.The martial arts academy doesn't seem too interested however.Figures...the humans haven't exactly shown any martial arts."
Gordon thought to himself as he observed Eldora's mannerisms.She was calm and appeared jovial.She always maintained her positivity.
"Well I was actually thinking of going to the Gaia dungeon anyways.As a friend you can feel free to follow me but all the drops will belong to the bloodline academy."
Eldora simply smirked at that and watched as Gordon got up and stretched his scaled body.Eldoras orb projection simply followed him as he went to the balcony and flew off of it.
A short time later they reached the dungeon.The entrance had grown in size and the mana radiating from it appeared to be thick and pure but nothing noteworthy for D rank existences.
"How old is this dungeon?"
"Slightly more then a week."
"Wow so it's E rank already is it,that's some fast growth."
"Indeed"
Gordon switched to a humanoid form.The form appeared to be a mix of elf and drake.There was bare skin in some areas and blue scales in other areas.There were pointy ears and drake horns.His fingers and toes also ended in claws and talons.
Gordon could also choose to have a tail and wings in this form but he chose not to.He was taller then a regular elf at eight foot tall.This form also came with pants.
Gordon sensed something in the sky.It stayed at a distance but couldn't help but get a bit closer.He looked but it appeared to be invisible.
Gordon jumped towards its position and grabbed it.The things invisibility dispelled and Gordon saw it for what it was.
It was a kind of automaton but like none he had ever seen.
"You didn't tell me those dungeon denizens could create automatons."
"They probably didn't make it in the way you would imagine.Its likely the result of a skill."
"Skill?"
"Yes it has to do with the humans racial abilities."
"Humans?that's what their called?Well this is starting to peak my interest."
