Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: First Simulation

"Goblin, Goblin, wake up quickly, it's time to eat."

Dimly, Logan Young heard someone calling him as his body shook violently. Opening his eyes, he was met with the sight of a monstrous three-headed creature. It had a massive head, thin limbs, green skin, and an undeniably grotesque appearance. The surrounding light was dim, suggesting he was in a cave.

Seeing this horrifying scene, Logan slowly closed his eyes. "Hmm, I must still be dreaming."

"Goblin, you're awake! Why did you close your eyes again?"

'Goblin, is he calling me? In my dream, I'm called Goblin, and this creature in front of me can speak. And looking closely, he resembles a Goblin. If he's calling me Goblin, could it be...' With this thought, Logan opened his eyes and looked at his hands, noticing the same thin, green arms as the creature in front of him. Am I dreaming of becoming a Goblin? This dream is quite peculiar.

"Goblin, hurry up and eat! You'll miss out if you're too late." With that, the Goblin in front of him pulled his arm, tugging him outside.

A slight pain shot through his arm.

'Wait? Pain? This dream feels a bit too real, could it be?'

A bad premonition arose in Goblin's heart, and he quickly pinched the thigh of the Goblin opposite him, twisting it 360 degrees.

"Ah ah ah ah ah!"

A pig-like scream erupted from the Goblin opposite him.

'He's screaming so realistically, this can't be a dream.'

Though outwardly calm, Logan's heart was in turmoil. Was there anything worse than waking up to find himself a girl?

Now there was. Waking up to find himself a Goblin. He had complained about his life not going smoothly before. Well, now he wasn't even human anymore.

'Looking at the current situation, it seems I've transmigrated. Strange, why can't I remember how I died before this? I'm an orphan, so no one should check my phone browser, right? I used incognito mode, so it should be fine. I hope no one opens my computer's study materials.'

While he was lost in thought, the Goblin opposite him was already angry and punched him. However, Logan's former self had studied combat and reached a professional level. He stepped back to dodge the attack and then delivered a right straight punch directly to the face.

"Bang!"

This punch knocked the opponent down. When the Goblin got up again, he looked at Goblin with fear.

Goblin had no intention of continuing the fight and instead said, "What were you telling me to do just now?"

Hearing Goblin's words, the Goblin quickly said, "I came to get you for dinner." However, his voice was filled with terror; it was clear he had been scared by Goblin's punch.

"Dinner, huh? Got it, take me there."

"Yes."

Subsequently, Logan followed behind the Goblin. Now that things had happened, he could only accept it. From today on, he would no longer be Logan Young, but Goblin, an ordinary Goblin.

But then again, since he had transmigrated, did he have a system or something similar?

On the way, he tried to call out in his mind.

"System, are you there? If so, show me the panel."

The next second, a panel similar to a game interface appeared before him. Seeing this panel, Goblin breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness, at least there was a system.

Instantly, the light of hope rekindled in his eyes. It was good to have a system; otherwise, it would be too difficult to survive as a Goblin. When he watched anime in his previous life, those high-level Goblins were quite cool. He hoped he could get rid of this weak state soon and advance to a high-level Goblin.

Saying that he walked and checked his attribute panel.

As your strength increases, the number of magic crystals consumed per simulation will gradually increase. At the same time, simulation attempts cannot be accumulated, with a maximum of one at a time.)

The panel data was clear at a glance; it was evident that he was very weak now.

As for the simulation attempts, he could roughly understand them, having read simulation novels before. Because he wasn't sure what state his body would be in during a simulation, he didn't rashly start one.

"Goblin, don't space out, hurry up, or all the meat will be eaten." The Goblin cautiously reminded him.

Instead, he first said to the Goblin in front of him, "I need to go. You go eat first."

If he said this in the Human World, he would definitely be criticized. Who talks about this while eating? But Goblin had heard that these Goblins weren't very intelligent. He was afraid that if he said his stomach hurt, these Goblins wouldn't understand what he meant, so he spoke very directly. However, the other party's subsequent words completely shocked him.

"What's so important about that? You can eat and go at the same time. You can go anywhere, but there's only one meal a day, and if you don't eat now, it'll be gone."

Looking at the clear yet foolish eyes of the Goblin opposite him, Goblin grimaced and still said, "I need to go now. You go first."

"Oh, alright."

Seeing that Goblin insisted on going, he couldn't say anything more and turned to leave.

After the other party left, Goblin quickly returned to the cave where he had rested earlier. There wasn't a single Goblin here; they had probably all gone to snatch food. It should be safe to simulate here.

"System, start the first life simulation."

"The first life simulation has begun."

"Year one, you are Goblin, an ordinary Goblin in a small Goblin Tribe on the outskirts of the Monster Forest. Your leader is a Troll. Although he possesses great strength, he is very lazy, so he makes you Goblins do everything for him. Your main tasks usually involve hunting and snatching females from other races."

"As a modern human, your intelligence is much higher than that of other Goblins. You understand that no matter how hard you work, everyone gets the same amount in the end. So, during every hunt, you rush to the very back of the team, and during every meal, you rush to the very front. In private, you continuously practice your skills. Gradually, as you live longer and eat more monster meat, your strength grows little by little, while most of the Goblins who strive hard die during hunts, and the few who survive are severely injured or disabled."
