The next day, when Lana returned to Axel, she looked extremely guilty.

Axel could not begin to explain the complicated emotions he had experienced upon hearing those words. For a moment, he had nearly turned around and demanded that Lana swear never to kiss his wife again.
Taking a deep breath to calm himself, he forced a smile and looked at Lana.
"Since you are here, we should begin preparing to leave this world."
Lana nodded in agreement.
