An enraged Hulk wouldn't care if you were someone he knew or not.
Now, besides Black Widow, no one could subdue an enraged Hulk, and so, knowing that Kevin had woken him, Hulk, driven by fury, charged straight at Kevin.
His mountain-like body sprinted savagely towards Kevin.
Kevin spent 0.01 seconds considering whether to use the Time Stone to give Hulk a Bites the Dust, or to have a satisfying, head-on clash with Hulk using his upgraded physique.
Ultimately, he chose the latter.
His Level Six physique had not yet been tested. Theoretically, it should be able to contend with Thanos and Hulk from the movie universe, but it hadn't been put into practice yet.
Now seemed like the best opportunity.
A chance to beat up the Big guy.
If it were the Hulk from the comics, Kevin might have chickened out, because the comic version of Hulk seemed to have no upper limit to his strength and physique, growing stronger the angrier he got.
But the movie version—
His thoughts abruptly ceased, as Hulk, more than a meter taller than Kevin, was already in front of him.
A fist as hard as a boulder, carrying a wind that tore through the air, smashed down towards Kevin!
But this thick fist, capable of directly shattering a person's head, suddenly froze in mid-air.
A hand, completely disproportionate to the thick fist, held back Hulk's powerful blow.
The massive fist being held back by a normal-sized hand was like a baby's hand holding back an adult's punch.
The Shockwave of their collision spread throughout the Mirror Dimension, causing Hulk's enraged mind to clear for a brief moment.
He seemed completely surprised that this 'little person' in front of him, who looked less than half his size, actually possessed strength comparable to his own.
"Is that all you've got?"
Kevin, who had easily held back Hulk's punch, shook his head slightly at Hulk.
The next instant, he suddenly lifted his leg high and accurately struck Hulk's abdomen.
Thud!!!
Another faint stream of impact air dissipated, and with this muffled sound of flesh colliding, Hulk's body flew backward!
He flew out, back first, at a speed even faster than when he had charged in, colliding with the barrier of the Mirror Dimension in the distance.
The sound of shattering glass echoed, and Hulk was somewhat dazed by Kevin's kick, but he quickly became even more enraged, opening his massive mouth and roaring at Kevin:
"Roar!!!!!"
"Just like a beast."
Kevin shook his head in assessment, and with a flick of his finger, the ground beneath his feet in the Mirror Dimension carried him to Hulk's front.
Arriving in front of Hulk in the blink of an eye, and simultaneously using the Mirror Dimension's terrain to elevate himself above Hulk, he raised his fist and smashed it into Hulk's head.
Bang!!
Hulk's head distorted to the side, but this only further ignited his ferocity.
He also swung his fist at Kevin, and it also landed on Kevin's head.
Kevin was struck by Hulk's blow but felt little pain; however, the feeling of Hulk's fist landing on him brought a hint of wild exhilaration to Kevin's face.
In an instant, Kevin's fist landed on Hulk again.
Thud!
Thud!!
The two's attacks, initially restrained, gradually became wild, and the muffled sounds of their fists meeting flesh continuously echoed in the Mirror Dimension.
Kevin grew more and more excited with each strike. In the end, he even forgot about the Time Stone, forgot about magic, and even spent some skill points to raise his fighting skills to Level Four, just to experience the exhilarating pleasure of this satisfying, bare-knuckle brawl!
At first, Hulk could still go back and forth with Kevin, exchanging blows, evenly matched.
But once Kevin maxed out [Deep Sea Fighting Technique] to Level Four, Hulk began to fall behind.
When Kevin had completely mastered the Level Four fighting technique, Hulk was simply being suppressed by Kevin!
Until he had no power to fight back at all!
Bang!!
As Kevin's final punch landed on Hulk's head, the dazed Hulk collapsed to the ground, unable to get back up.
He stared blankly at the ceiling, then finally closed his eyes. His body also gradually shrank as he closed his eyes, returning to its original form.
And it was only after Hulk reverted to Banner that Kevin belatedly scratched his cheek:
"Uh… did I go a little overboard just now…?"
Hulk's intelligence isn't high; at most, it's equivalent to a four or five-year-old child.
Imagine a four or five-year-old child being woken up in the middle of the night by a strange noise, and just as he's about to throw a tantrum, he's inexplicably beaten up by the person who woke him.
He tries to fight back but can't win, gets thoroughly thrashed, and has no choice but to obey.
Anyone would feel wronged by this.
This is practically bullying!
"No, I can't be blamed for this. Who told him to charge straight at me after waking up? He's such a Big guy; it seems reasonable for me to be startled and retaliate…"
Kevin found excuses for himself, feeling rather guilty.
But putting that aside for now, it seems that a Level Six physique can indeed overpower the movie version of Hulk, and can even be considered the strongest physique in the Marvel World movies.
Just don't know how it compares to Superman.
Kevin pondered these thoughts, and at this moment, Banner, who had reverted from his Hulk form to his normal appearance, slowly awoke on the ground.
Seeing this, Kevin immediately dispelled the Mirror Dimension, collected his thoughts, and quickly stepped forward to help the waking Banner up:
"Dr. Banner? Are you alright?"
"Uh… What… what happened to me…?"
Banner clutched his head, sitting up somewhat disoriented as he asked.
He had been possessed by Hulk's personality for too long and had some difficulty remembering why he was here or why his body felt like he had been thoroughly beaten.
The guilty Kevin didn't tell Banner that he was the one who beat him awake, but instead concisely said:
"Did you run away from Earth yourself? Don't you remember? Dr. Banner, I have something I want to ask of you, which is why I came to Sakaar to find you. Come back to Earth with me, Dr. Banner."
"…I… I ran away? Wait, you… I remember you're that alien… How's Earth? How's Ultron?"
Banner focused his gaze on Kevin, taking a great effort to recognize who Kevin was.
Immediately after, he began to recall previous events.
In his memory, they were still discussing how to deal with Ultron, and then… then after deciding to let Kevin deal with Ultron, his memory disappeared.
Banner had no recollection of what happened during that period.
Hearing Banner's words, Kevin knew that he definitely didn't remember being beaten up by him just now. Feeling a bit relieved, he began to answer Banner's questions:
"Ultron has been dealt with by me. Earth is very safe now. I can send you back to Earth in a bit, but you have to promise to help me with one thing."
"What is it?"
Banner shook his head, trying to clear his mind.
Kevin took out Compound V and handed it to Banner:
"Help me research the reverse serum for this drug."
...
After going through countless hardships… well, it wasn't really that hard, but in any case, Kevin finally found Banner and could officially begin his main quest.
Using a portal to bring Banner back from Sakaar, Kevin didn't have him go to the Avengers. Instead, he used his prestige with the Avengers to ask Tony for a private biological laboratory.
Tony was still busy with the Sokovia Accords recently and didn't ask Kevin why he needed a biological laboratory.
At most, he just asked Jarvis to help supervise, in case Kevin created something chaotic that threatened Earth.
At other times, Tony's energy was more focused on the Sokovia Accords.
Kevin was happy to take it easy. After bringing Banner back, he directly had Banner come here to work for him.
The reverse research work on Compound V finally officially began.
With the data obtained from Alkali, and various data from Vought over the past few decades as reference, Banner had some initial ideas in just two days.
It has to be said that he is indeed one of the smartest people in the Marvel World, much stronger than the researchers in the The Boys world.
However, having ideas is one thing; researching Compound V in a short time was somewhat impossible. On the other hand, Banner did manage to create a strengthening agent for Supes.
"This substance you brought, called… Compound V, is essentially a one-time thing. After granting abilities to someone, no matter how much more of this agent is injected, they won't gain new abilities. It will only temporarily enhance existing abilities, and it also has a certain degree of addictiveness."
Inside the laboratory, Banner explained to Kevin.
Kevin knew all of this; A-Train was the best example.
After injecting Compound V, A-Train's abilities were enhanced to a certain extent, but at the same time, Compound V also ruined his body, not only making him addicted to Compound V but also giving him heart disease.
So, in fact, destroying a Supe is also very simple: just inject him with Compound V from time to time, let the Compound V in his blood destroy him.
Destroy himself.
However, what Kevin wanted wasn't Supes who became cripples; he wanted ordinary people who could live normal lives after their abilities were removed.
Banner continued:
"The reason is simple: because the first Compound V injection changes the human body by altering its most fundamental genes. Subsequent Compound V injections, unable to further alter the genes, can only temporarily enhance the Supes you mentioned through the blood.
"This is why Compound V cannot permanently enhance a Supe's abilities."
"I see…"
What Banner said reminded Kevin of Luke and Sam.
Professor Brink wanted Golden Boy Luke to be his most outstanding student, a student who could surpass Homelander, which is why he had Sam's blood injected into Luke's body.
But in reality, Sam's blood also contained diluted Compound V, so this method seemed no different from indirectly injecting Compound V.
However, if interpreted according to what Banner said, originally Compound V could only temporarily boost Luke's abilities because it couldn't directly enhance Luke's Supe genes.
But the Compound V and Sam's blood neutralized each other, and since he and Luke were brothers, a miraculous chemical reaction occurred between them, allowing Sam's blood to directly enhance Luke's Supe genes.
This indirectly boosted Luke's abilities, and perhaps this was the reason Brink chose to do so.
