Anne, thought as fast as she could, then concentrated on lighting up the star on her hand, with a few attempts the star shone brightly, she felt a bit rusty after all that time she could not even move but there was so much at stake at that moment.
Soon the halo on her head illuminated, and her wings shone a golden hue more brilliant than even that time they were given to her, the white feathered angel wings looking glamourous, and she held the hand of Serena.
She felt a foreign energy in her body so prominent that it was taking over, but somehow that invasive substance could not touch her, as soon as she held a body part they were rapidly on the move, moreover it was multiplying, or growing for that matter event this Anne thought was beyond her.
Her mind spun into overdrive, and she knew for this one time, was a driving factor, the longer she took the harder it'd be to restore her daughter to her peak, and it seemed like she was losing her life.
After long minutes, strenuous attempts, Serena's hair turned black her eyes as well and runed began to develop over her skin. Anne knew this one was going to be serious and had to do all she could about it.

In the forest, where all this chaos was centered, Seraphina's hair now turned completely black, not a trace of strawberry in it, her eyes lost all warmth, and her skin looked dead and was already shedding, the pitch-black runes on her body pulsating with power while everything surrounding her withered.
The ground beneath her feet, seemed to be scarred and dried up, the trees and plants nothing but part of the dust and air that surrounded her.

Back in the house Serena was only and nothing but getting worse and just then the sky lit up, and after it parted came down someone who Anne had never seen before, but could only commend her beauty.
It was Diamond, looking as glamourous as ever, upon arrival all she did was approach Serena, no words exchanged and Anne was worried, but did not say a thing till Diamond got a hold on Serena,
"What are you doing" she worriedly asked, unsure how to react.
"Oh, me? You do not have to worry or be afraid I am the reason behind those wings of yours and if you want your daughter to continue breathing just trust me" Anne felt her heart go mellow and went according to Diamond's words.
Then Diamond held the star on her hand and began reciting incantations, an array of bright white and blue symbols filled the room, the walls began to shake from the sheer pressure.
But soon she could see it, the strawberry in her daughters her returning, the star on her hand stabilizing and eventually Serena was back to normal and awake, but little did Anne know that the same could not be said for her other daughter.
Serena was huffing and puffing after her eyes opened taking deep breaths, and soon water was provided to her, after calming down and taking a breather Serena's hair began to turn black again, and that was when Diamond realized,
"No" she said softly, Anne looked at her and screamed.
"Please, this is not the time to freak out, just do what you did again", Diamond looked into her eyes and said,
"That would be useless, she is not the one being affected, it's her twin sister now it makes sense, we have to find a way to get closer to her somehow"
"How?!"
"By relying on the darkness" Diamond's eyes began to shine brightly, and Elaine's wings released that golden hue that brought sight to the darkness all over, in the air, like everywhere.
But now they knew the direction t was coming from in one area the darkness was dense, and unyielding to the light, that was the direction they were going in.
Anne, followed, as Diamond sped through the darkness, soon Anne was alone, and the Darkness seemed endless but she continued to trace it.

In the forest, Diamond was already upon Seraphina, looking beyond recognition, then Diamond began to chant, more complex arrays and runes decorated the scorched lands giving it life, Diamond was just exerting more power by the second and began to sweat but the darkness seemed to have already taken over.
Then Seraphina smiled, one of the most psychotic visages her pretty face had ever made, on the other end Diamond just continued to struggle.
Soon the sky changed color becoming black, all the shades of twilight lost, and Diamond felt noticeably weaker.
When all hope seemed lost, and it felt like the battle was lost, Anne finally made her way towards Diamond, and in that moment of need something within her, primal in nature awoke and her wings fluttered.
Soon Anne was above ground level, where her heart used to be a pulsating glowing orb, golden light decorated her white visage, her strawberry blonde hair dancing in the wind, her blue eyes warmer than ever.
Then her eyes all of a sudden turned warm white, her hair with it and the golden hue seemed to have intensified, she began to say strange things, her mouth then opened wide as she began to sing.
A sound so soothing, sounding regal, then the light began to shine brighter, and soon Diamonds arrays and runes, decorating the floor beginning to shine with it, then and only then did Seraphina begin to revert to her usual self.
But it seemed though that helped, it was far from enough, Seraphina's eyes carried emotion, but for a split second it was lost and with that, a spear made from darkness hit the ground, and from it rose a man, with a very bulky frame.
He was black skinned, haired hand eyed, he looked just like a solid black silhouette, and he creepily smiled, then shouted, a cryptic sound that could not be less lucid than it already was.
Soon, all their efforts seemed only and nothing but useless, completely, utterly useless. Diamond looked at him, and even herself felt scared.
"What are you doing here, Lucifer" Anne felt crept out at the mention of that name, though it seemed logical in a world where Vampires and Dhampirs roamed why would he the king of evil be absent. He just smiled and said,
"Why don't you just call me Satan" his whole visage looking unbearable,
"You were punished, made to serve 10, higher centuries in the underworld, and some time is still not up so what are you doing here"
"Well, why? Did you think I grew my Vampire and Demon army for nothing, now is the time my legion out"
The crater formed only got wider and soon all forms of demons were getting out of the part, but on the bright side it looked like with the more time the portal was up the darkness was diminishing.
After a while a whole army of Demons were out and about, and Seraphina just fainted, her blonde hair looking lighter and shrilled up, her eyes appearing to be lifeless. Satan turned to look at them,
"For now, Diamond, I'll let you go, but be prepared for when I have enough sin to annihilate all of you up there, in the higher realm, then I'll be a ruler of all, and give just as fair a life to these demons as you give to humans" Diamond frowned lightly, this outcome was certainly out of her expectations.
What was the main shock was how Seraphina had enough energy, a body strong enough to do what even Jack was not strong enough to, holding a portal to another realm was far difficult than one inter-dimension, and she did just that.
But the downside was that now she was drained completely, it would be a miracle if she was able to exert a tiny portion of that energy she just lost.
While Diamond was stressing over the unfortunate turn of events Anne, held her daughter in her hand, and flew back to the mansion.
Eventually when diamond realized she was alone she also flew back, but not to the house, her destination was the higher realm, she had to inform all the gods about this unlikely turn of events and they had to plan ahead, they were far from ready to be overthrown and most of those 'gods' were lazy old men, and uninvolving women.
In the house, things were chaotic, Serena finally awoke, but just like her twin lost all her strength, it seemed as though capitalizing on their connection he used the weaker twin to access the stronger twin's power, and that explained why that power managed to hold the portal, but now both sisters were at the neutral rank at best, and they still had the same enemies.
But now it was not just a matter of protecting the twins because they were dhampirs, if Lucifer stroke, then the only hope they'll have is sufficient strength, and knowing this he robbed them of every bit of it, how were they supposed to do now what was written in stars, the fate Diamond saw for them.
Both sisters were weak, and famished, and Anne just put them to bed, not knowing what else to do, and faced with such a difficult situation she had only one other option, she had to call Jack, *exhale* this was going to be quite the reunion.
