Afraid of losing supremacy, Greed Vampires, who led the dark legacy at the time, started combining human DNA with Vampire counterparts and created incomplete Dhampirs.
These Dhampirs aided the Vampires for a time, but after realizing they were superior to Vampires, they revolted, and that was when it became fact that after murdering a Vampire, a Dhampir would grow exponentially stronger depending on the strength of the Vampire compared to that of the Dhampir.
And during the time that harmony was most needed on the Vampire Settlement, they were quick to judge, blaming everything on the Greed vampires.
In the end, that almost cost them extinction, and when in a war that when one lost a comrade, they would add to their opponents' strength. The vampires were at an overwhelming disadvantage. Amidst the time of war, the Vampire Lord of the Gluttony Castle, Gus, evolved into the first Great Lord.
During the final stretch of the war, the last stand, when only 8 vampires remained. Gus consumed a portion of the Dhampirs' strength and deposited it to his allies, enabling them to turn the tide at a crucial moment, resulting in their unexpected win, and that was when the current Vampire settlement was established, with seven major castles standing strong in the wake of the war.
But at the time one Dhampir survived, she was really young with perfect red hair and enchanting green eyes, only a teen at the time, due to her beauty, after being turned, she was forced to sleep with multiple Vampires at a time and she was not asked to partake in the war, for she would have been a hinderance due to how weak she was.
After the war, she vowed to avenge fellow Dhampirs and created an organization against the forces of the dark, The Keepers of Light. She trained and killed many vampires, growing her strength.
Soon, she was considered a thorn in the side of vampires, which was an obvious result, but at that time, her foundations were already too sturdy to easily crumble.
