She almost died, but fortunately her wolf was powerful enough to heal the damage, despite doctors believing she wouldn't survive. Regarding the identity, I'll reveal it only with her permission," Eric said, glancing my direction.
Ada rose to her feet, her voice soft but determined. "You can share my story."
"Ada," Eric began, but a council member stepped forward with a smile.
"Ada's attack was truly devastating," he started. "She was just a child when a rogue attacked her and her father." Gasps rippled through the crowd while Eric's jaw tightened visibly. "We all feared she wouldn't regain consciousness, but thankfully, her young wolf possessed enough strength to heal her head injury."
