Chapter 75 - Chapter 75 The Difference Between They Two

A carrot top, a pink bear, a monkey holding a Coke bottle, a flashy Doraemon...

There were so many.

Su Qing's arms were full, and she carried many more in her hands. She placed the extra items on a nearby bench. She sat on the side, sipping a smoothie and watching the boy's back as he stood straight and focused on grabbing the doll.

He's quite good-looking...

This attracted quite a few glances.

"Wow, that's amazing! That boy is so handsome."

"That's amazing! Oh my god!"

Jiang Sui, unfazed by the compliments, moved closer to Su Qing.

"Which one do you want?"

Su Qing shook her head, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "No more, too many..."

She didn't know what to do. She didn't dare take so many dolls back home, which troubled her, and her delicate eyebrows furrowed.

"Don't you have anything else to play? I'll wait here."

Thinking of the boy constantly playing catch dolls with her, Su Qing glanced at the other arcade machines around her.

"I don't play those."

Jiang Sui, aside from the occasional mobile game, had grown tired of those consoles since he was a child. He shook his head.

"Are you hungry? I'll take you to dinner."

Pulling out his phone and checking the time, he saw it was almost time for dinner.

They had originally planned to have dinner together, so Su Qing nodded and agreed.

It was just that there were too many dolls on the bench, which was a bit troubling. Fortunately, the waiter came over with an oversized bag.

After putting them in, there was still a pink bear left, so Su Qing hugged it in her arms. She looked up at Jiang Sui, a little hesitant about what to eat.

"Let's go get steak. I saw a place with good reviews."

After a moment's thought, Su Qing shifted her gaze to a restaurant she had just passed.

The decor was very elegant, a Chinese-style Western restaurant.

The young man, dressed casually, sat across from her. His every move was a touch of dignity, his lips pursed as he ordered his food.

Su Qing felt a little reserved; it was her first time in such a place.

Unlike Jiang Sui, who could relax, she clutched the little rabbit in her arms. When the waiter asked her what she wanted, Su Qing was stunned.

She pinched her fingertips, her brows aloof and distant.

"Same as him."

Jiang Sui frowned slightly, remembering that she couldn't eat chili peppers, and he had just ordered Sichuan-style steak with chili peppers.

Seeing the young man frown, Su Qing bit her lip.

"What's wrong?"

She answered cautiously and nervously, her lips bitten, leaving deep marks.

"It has chili peppers in it. You can't handle spicy food."

After expressing his doubts, Su Qing scratched the menu with her fingers and scribbled on it. "Then this one."

"And I want it well-done..."

"Qing Qing, don't you like eating here?"

After the waiter left, Jiang Sui frowned, his eyes blazing at her.

Su Qing shook her head. "No, I'm just not used to it." The girl's pure eyes held no trace of anything.

Jiang Sui suppressed the doubts that etched his brow, thinking he'd been overthinking things.

His composure and her inner restraint formed a stark contrast. Su Qing lowered her head and took a sip of her black tea.

"It's quite delicious."

A flicker of disappointment crossed her eyes.

Then her phone vibrated. Su Qing took advantage of Jiang Sui's bathroom break to pull it out. It had a message on it.

"Qing Qing, how's it going? Isn't that steakhouse super delicious? It's a bit pricey, though. The set menu I recommended is pretty good, isn't it? I heard Jiang Sui from our class goes there often..."

Su Qing didn't read what else next message wrote.

While Jiang Sui sat down, she quickly replied with a "hmm" and put her phone in her pocket.
