Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 1

"I need to escape this hell of a place before I get caught", Lian said to himself as he opened the back window to escape through it.

He knew that once he left this kingdom they can never track him down since he was good at covering his tracks.

He was so occupied in his escape plan that he didn't notice someone behind him. "Ah!", Lian shouted when he felt something cold pierce through his skin. He turned around to see a masked figure standing with a dagger covered in blood.

His eyes widened in shock as he realized it was his own blood. He fell to the ground as the pain hit him. He figured that the dagger was also poisoned as his heart started beating abnormally.

In his last moments he saw Xu Rong enter the room. "Is he dead yet?", She asked the masked figure. "Not yet your highness", the masked figure replied. "Ugh, this bitch's son why did he have to have all the things I desired...it's his own fault", Xu Rong said.

"What did I do to deserve this... all I ever did was remain inviscible to the royal family and now I die like this".."This is not fair!", Lian shouted in his mind. As his concioussness was slowly leaving him, he saw something that would remain carved in his aching heart.

His two closest best friend laughed at him when they saw how pathetic he looked. All this time the people he thought were his friends were actually wolves in sheep's skin. "I wish I could change everything then maybe... maybe I wouldn't end up like this", Li Xian said as he breathed his last.

"Young master, it's time to get up", Lian woke up in a daze. He looked around wondering if he was dreaming. Last he remember, he was killed by his sister and his 2 so called best friends. He pinched himself, upon feeling pain he knew he wasn't dreaming.

It seems he was reborn back into the past, but when? he doesn't know. Seems like he has to go and have a look outside maybe he could figure something out. He got up from his bed and prepared himself to go 'sight seeing'.

He always wore plain and boring clothes because he didn't want to anger the royal family but today he chose to wear what he liked. One of the reasons he was hated was because he was the only ger to be born in the royal family and he was seen as a disgrace by them.

Lian wore a beautiful peach hanfu with flower designs at it's ends. This hanfu was best as it showed off his snow white flawless skin. He held his long hair up casually but not forgetting to let a few hair strands fall on his right side. This made his whole face more visible.

His big doe eyes, button nose and rosy plump lips were all showcased. The maid servant who walked in couldn't help but exclaim in surprise. She has served the young prince for almost 4 years and this is the first time she saw him like this.

Without wasting any more time Lian walked out of his palace which was situated far away from the main palace. "Sigh, I forgot about this problem", He called for the maid servant to prepare a carriage while he ate breakfast.

"Young master the preparations have all been done", Lian just waved his hand and continued eating his meal. "Can't believe I almost forgot about this delicious breakfast", "Though they hate me I must say this is the only good thing they've done in their lives".

"Better enjoy it while it lasts", Lian kept smiling revealing his dimples and making all the gurads on duty think that this is the most purest soul they've ever seen. "Well, time to go", Lian got up and entered his carriage that led him towards the main palace.

The journey took longer than usual but Lian couldn't care less as his mind was filled with devilish plans. After 15 minutes the carriage arrived at the door of the main palace. Lian got off the carriage and went into the big palace by foot.

"Go where you want to go but make sure you're back here before sundown", Lian said to his driver without turning his back. The shocked driver entered the main palace in a daze and went his way.
