Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 3

"Jing Yi, prepare a bath for me", Lian told his maid servant. "Yes master", Jing Yi was about to go but was stopped. "By the way, may I call you sister... and please do not agree just because of my status", Lian looked Jing Yi straight in the eye.

"Of course, I don't mind", Jing Yi smiled. "Then from now on I give you permission to call me "Li Li" since you're my sister", Lian smiled before continuing eating his food.

Jing Yi smiled all the while until she was told to retreat to her room to get some sleep. While on the bathtub Lian thought about his previous life. "Why didn't I see her kindness... this time I'll make sure to save her", Lian said to himself.

After a long nice bath Lian went to sleep. Morning arrived quickly and Lian did the same things he did the previous day. He got ready and went towards the main palace after a hearty breakfast.

The only difference was that this time, after visiting the physicians he went to the training area. All the soldiers were very shoocked by this. Even General Xiang couldn't help but rub his eyes a few times.

Has the royal family gone mad by bringing such a fragile person here', this was everyone's thought. "Greeting General Xiang", Lian was amused but he didn't show it in his face.

"Your highness, what do I owe this visit?", General Xiang replied with a question. "I want to train with you guys tod-", "HUH!!", before Lian can finish his sentence all the soldiers exclaimed.

"Um...okay then please choose your weapon, I'll look for someone to spar with you", General Xiang walked toward his best soldiers as he said this. He knew that the best person to spar with the young prince was someone who is powerful but can also control that power and avoid hurting the young prince.

"Hua Tian, spar with the young prince for today", the said young man looked at the General in surprise. Was his hearing okay. "But", "No buts... just go", with that the training session began.

"Greetings your highness", Hua Tian said in disgust. "Greetings", Lian replied with a sweet smile. Hua Tian staggered a little but he composed himself quickly. "Now let's begin and.... don't hold back, it's an order", Lian said.

Hua Tian gritted his teeth but he still didn't listen to the young prince. He used minimum attacks on Li Xian. Seeing this Lian increased his attacks a little and made things hard for Hua Tian.

Finally, things got serious and Hua Tian released his whole strength. But he still couldn't lay a hand on Lian. All the soldiers stood still and watched the fight unfolding between Hua Tian and Lian.

They were all surprised by how much the young prince was holding his own against Hua Tian, one of their best fighters. After some few minutes Lian had beat Hua Tian to a pulp.

"Just because I look fragile and weak doesn't mean I can't beat you", Lian said coldly making a chill run down everyone's spine. Hua Tian tried standing up only to fall back down in pain.

Next he saw blood but he didn't know where it was coming from. "Aish, but I thought I held back way too much and here you are callingme fragile", Lian said aloud making everyone dizzy from shock.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to injure you like this", Lian said as he approached Hua Tian.

Lian treated Hua Tian and called a physician to prepare a concoction for him. When the physician arrived Hua Tian had long lost concioussness.
