Keifer's POV
I fell asleep with jay and was sleeping peacefully. Atleast until she started shivering, crying and mumbling something in her sleep.
Jay( mumbling ): no....pls.....it wasn't me.....I didn't do anything...pls stop....
She looked like she was having a nightmare. I pulled her closer and tried to calm her down.
Keifer: you're ok jay. I've got u, always. Nothings going to happen. Nobody will ever hurt u again, I won't let them.
I whispered in her ear. After a while she stopped shivering and her breathing became normal again.
Jay( mumbling ): no one will hurt me.....hurt us...I won't let them...I'll protect us.....I promise...
Who was she talking to? What is she trying to say? Is it another one of her memories trying to claw it's way back? She shouldn't have watched that video. I'm going to kill that bastard cyrus like I should have back in the province. I won't let jay go through something like that again. I won't let her get hurt or give into the darkness again.
I was deep in thought when she woke up. Her eyes red but there was something else, a kind of emptiness and maybe some darkness.
Jay: keifer, why r u looking at me like that?
She said snapping me out of my thoughts.
Keifer: nothing. R u ok? U looked like u were having a nightmare. Do u want to talk about it?
Jay: I'm fine.
She said with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.
Keifer: don't lie to me jay. U know u can tell me anything, right?
Jay: Ik, it's just that.....I think I just saw a glimpse of one of my memories. It was really scary.
Keifer: what did u see?
Jay: I think I saw my mom and a man. It was a little blurry but I have this feeling that he was trying to hurt us both.
She started crying again. I pulled her into a tight hug.
Keifer: shh, it's ok. You're ok now. Nothing going to happen to u. You're safe now. I won't let anything bad happen to u again.
She hugged me back tighter, buried her face in my chest and cried her heart out.
After a while she finally calmed down.
Keifer: r u ok now?
Jay: yeah.
Keifer: do u need anything. Maybe some more rest or some comfort food?
Jay: always a yes to food. Also we need to check on how the others r doing with there training. They should be done by now, it's almost time for dinner.
Keifer: ok then, let's freshen up and then go downstairs.
Jay: ok.
We both freshen up and then went downstairs. Everyone was settling down at the dining table, looking way too tired and hungry.
They all slumped down on there seats and we also sat down on our seats.
Jay: how was the training guys.
Felix: not good at all!!!!
Rory: it felt like we were training for some world war!
Ci-n( dramatically): I think I'm dying.
Edrix: jay u weren't wrong when u said that we needed training but u didn't warn us either that ur friends r maniacs when it comes to training!!!!
All the boys weakly nodded in agreement.
I looked at my team who were just enjoying there food without a care in the world.
Jay: I told u go easy on them.
Tony: we did.
Jay: do u call this easy. They can barely lift there fork!
Thyme: don't blame us. We just tried our best to train them as much as we can, u know given the small amount of time that we have left.
Zia: we really did go easy on them. Look at ur brothers, they r in better condition than section e bcz they actually did what we told them without too much complaining.
Lia: while we had to bribe section e with some food to actually get them to complete there exercise. They were being too lazy and we might have gotten a bit frustrated and given them some hard tasks.
Eman: u call ordering us to dead lift 200 kg as a hard task, it's impossible for any of us to do.
Felix: and when we weren't able to do that, u scolded us and made us do 200 pushups, situps, squats and good knows what.
Choi: that's bcz we need u all to stay active.
Aries: they aren't wrong there jay.
Blaster: why r u all ganging up on us?
Kuya angelo: bcz u aren't taking things seriously here.
Jay: ok stop it u all. Firstly, u really should take this more seriously section e, this is a matter of life and death, if u lack behind here, it could cost us all dearly. And secondly, team u need to work on ur patience, u know what next time I'm joining u guys to make sure u don't accidentally kill them while training them.
Mason: hey u can't lecture us about patience when u don't have much either and fine u can join us in training them, maybe they'll actually do something with u there instead of messing around.
Mj: and u guys better not mess with her patience, she's much worse than us. Even worse than thyme.
Thyme: hey!
Ren: he's not wrong though and u know it.
Kevin: yeah I think she's more dangerous than gorya when angry.
Thyme: I think u might be true there.
Jay( glaring ): i can here u guys.
They all immediately shut up and started eating there food again.
Jay: ok but seriously guys, u need to be serious and train hard if u really want to help us in this fight. If u lack behind then I will have no choice but to not involve u in this fight. I need to be sure that u can defend yourself and others if u want to join the fight.
Aries: we will jay.
David: yeah, we'll do our best.
Blaster: we just need a little break before going back to training.
Jay: rest all u want tonight. We have our graduation tomorrow and after that, even I don't know when the fight will take place so u all need to be ready, ok?
Edrix: ok.
Ci-n: ok.
Everyone else's POV- in their mind:-
Ci-n: I can't believe jay went through that. We all knew that she had gone through something in her past but seeing that video and knowing there is still so much more in her past that she is keeping secret, I won't let anything like that happen again. She's my ST, my ate, I'll protect her just like she protects me.
David: I won't let anything happen to jay again. I'll protect her, even if it means protecting her from keifer if he hurts her.
Felix: jay never let any of us know her problems. We know she had some history with cyrus and it was bad but not this level of bad. Even if it means training till I collapse, I'll do it, for jay, for everyone, to protect our mutya.
Eman: Ik for sure that everyone is more than determined to protect jay especially after seeing that video and I'm no less. She helped me when I was at my lowest, she has helped everyone she could. Now, it's our time to help her and protect her to best of our abilities. Ik that no matter how much lazy we r, we'll turn into beasts if anyone dares hurt our mutya and the biggest beast of all will be keifer.
Aries: I'm sorry I wasn't there for u before jay. Ik I haven't been the best brother to u but I promise that from now on I'll protect u in any way I can.
Keifer: we r here for u now my queen. We won't let anyone even think about hurting u ever again and if they do, they won't be able to see the sunrise on them ever again. I'll take revenge from what that cyrus did to u. He deserved ending up in coma before but now he deserves to die!!! And so does that roy or anyone else who hurt u.
Kuya angelo: ur warriors r here for u jay. Just keep on smiling and laughing jay. We won't let the darkness take that away from u ever again.
Jay's POV
We finished our food with some small talk, some stories about there training and a lot of laughter and then rested for a while in the hall.
Kuya angelo: jay, when r u going to tell us about the plan.
Keifer: yeah. We need to know the strategy in order to fight.
Robin: I think u should tell them now.
Mason: same.
Kent: better sooner than later.
Jay: ok, I'll tell u now but not here and definitely not in front of the girls, no offence but u r not in this fight and boy the ones involved in the fight can know about this.
Rakki: we understand jay.
Mica: yeah, we were about to go to our rooms anyway.
Grace: yeah, u guys talk. I need to check on grazel too.
Ella: I'm going to my room too.
Freya: yeah me too.
Jay: thanks girls. Good night.

Jay: ok guys, let's talk upstairs in the private restaurant.
I said once the girls left.
Kevin: why not in the interrogation room or our room?
Jay: not safe and not allowed. Ok let's go now.
We all went to the top floor private restaurant including drew, gathered some tables and chairs, made a big table and sat on our chairs around the table.
Jay: ok guys, now u just sit back and quietly listen to the plan. This is too important and no mess ups r allowed, ok?
Keifer: ok.
Kuya angelo: ok.
Jay: ok so one by one the teams will tell there part in the plan and then afterwards we will decide which team u all will be in, ok?
Aries: fine.
Jay: ok to remind u all, we r up against kaizer, ram, cyrus, roy, yuri and dylan but don't forget that dylan and yuri r on our side and have proven that.
Keifer: but we r still being alert with them, right?
Jay: they won't do anything against that and even if they try to my men has got it.
Thyme: ok so first up, me, ten, kevin and mj aka the f4 will take care of roy and his men.
Tony: me, tripp, kent, choi, iris, alys, lia, zia and robin aka the demons of hell will take care of cyrus, ram and their men and our reinforcements will circle the perimeter and make sure there is no other threats and traps set.
Jay: me, mason, aya, mateo and alex aka the dream team will handle kaizer and yuri and dylan will help us with it. I also have my men involved in this fight as reinforcements in case something happens that we really don't want to. My men and my personal bodyguards, james and Jordan will get u all out of there if things go south. Stay near them at all times and under no circumstances r u allowed to not follow the plan.
Keifer: what about u? They will get u out of there too right?
Me and my team shared a quick glance before I replied.
Jay: yeah sure. We will all get out of there together.
I lied!
Robin( looking at jay ): don't worry, the plan will work.
Kuya angelo: ok so where do we come in?
Jay: u all will be divided into groups and team up with one of us. U will help them defeat there enemy and then help others if needed.
Keifer: ok so there r 17 of us and 3 groups.
Jay: first up the dream team,

Aries: I have a question, is running away ur back up plan that u talked about during truth and dare?
I nodded in response.
Aries:so we r just going to bail. What if they come here, what if they strike back even harder, what then?
Jay: don't worry that won't happen. I won't let that happen. I'll end this once and for all. I'll make sure they r not in the state to fight back ever again.
Keifer: r u talking about killing them again?
Kuya angelo: jay, u can't do that. Do u know how much guts u need to do that and what happens when u kill someone. U don't remain the same jay. U change, for the worst.
Jay: Ik kuya. After all I was in this league to. Ik what it takes to kill someone and I also know that many people had to kill to get in the league. I have gone on many missions and witnessed someone getting killed in front of me. U have no idea what I've been through all these years.
Kuya angelo: Ik I don't know all of it but Ik some part of it. That's why I told u all to separate and never meet again. But fate's a bitch, isn't it? I tried to keep u away from all of it and I don't like u going back to ur old ways. I didn't let u start over just to end up going back to the old u.
Jay: I'm not. I'm not that person anymore kuya and I won't be like that ever again. I'm more stronger now and surrounded by the people who love me and will do anything to keep me safe and I'll do the same. U should know that by now kuya.
Robin: ok calm down guys. Just breath and keep ur calm. Things r getting a little off topic and out of control here.
Tony: yeah, can we just change the topic and talk about something else?
Jay: there is nothing left to talk about. All has been said already and the plan has been finalized.
Ren( raising one eyebrow ): has it really?🤨
Jay: yes, it has. Now if u'll excuse me, I have to do some work and then rest. I hav told wake up early and so does the team so I suggest u all go rest too.
Keifer: well then let's go back to our rooms then.
Jay: u go. I'll be back in a few minutes. I just have a little work left to do.
Keifer: ok, do u want me to come with u?
Jay: no, it's ok. I just have to talk with the team and my men for tomorrow, that's all.
Keifer: ok. Be back soon then.
Jay: I will.
We all left the private restaurant. They all went to there rooms while me, my team and my personal bodyguards went to the mini base.
Mateo: what is this meeting about again?
Jay: about tomorrow's security.
Robin( skeptical ): so this has nothing to do with the plan.
Jay: ok maybe a little.
Thyme: so ur plan b was to send all of them away huh.
Jay: yes and now that they r joining this fight it will be a bit harder but not impossible. James and jordan follow the plan as I have explained earlier, if things go south u everyone out of there as fast as possible, no exceptions.
Tripp: so u r kicking us out too.
Jay: it's for ur own safety.
Aya: and what about ur safety.
Jay: I am the one u will need safety from.
Alex: that's not happening. Penny didn't give her life so u could go and just play with death. I won't let her sacrifice go to waste.
Jay: nothing will happen to me. If something does, then u will be able to bring me back from the darkness.
Kevin: it won't work if u r dead.
Jay: as I said that won't happen.
Thyme: how can u be so sure?
Jay: after sending u to a safe distance, my men will come back, help me fight and then tranquilize me so that I can be controlled.
Mj: no, that's too risky. We don't know what the consequences will be if u give into the darkness. Tranquilizing u might not be the solution. Ur body might not be able to take the weight of it memories and u could end up in a coma or worse.
Jay: we'll just have to take our chances then.
Ren: why didn't u tell them everything?
Jay: how can I? If I do, they won't let me go through that. They might get hurt by roy or kaizer or anyone else if I don't end this.
Ren: u should have still told them. Lieing and keeping secrets don't end well jay. We made the same mistake. Thyme and gorya broke up bcz of it but we were able to bring them back together again by making them tell each other the truth. Aum disappeared after knowing MJ's true identity and it took us years to find her again. Kevin and kaning kept there feeling for each other a secret and hurt each other but when they finally excepted it and told the truth they got together. I lost mira and kept getting hurt all alone from the inside but I started to heal once everyone got to know the truth and they comforted me. If u keep lieing and hiding things from ur loved ones, all of y will end up getting hurt and they could leave u just like they left us and I can't be sure what will happen then.
Jay: well I really can't tell them in this situation. They'll only end up getting themselves hurt and we're not even sure if I'll need to use code red. It's just a cautionary measure. I won't use it unless I really need to.
Mason: u better keep ur word. U'r life depends on it.
Robin: and how do u think everyone will feel if something happens to u huh.
Kent: I think they'll straight up kill us for hiding this from them.
Tripp: I don't know about the others but I'm damn sure that kuya angelo and keifer will fight to see who gets to kill us first.
Jay: don't worry guys. I'll handle everything. It's all going to be just fine.
Iris: u saying don't worry doesn't make us any less worried jay.
Jay: ok just forget about that for now. Tomorrow is the graduation day, roy will definitely try to pull something to stop me from getting the mark. Tighten the security on the base and on the school. Make sure no one goes in and out of the base without me knowing about it and that the perimeter is clearly on both places.
Thyme: got it jay. We'll all accompany u and everyone else to ur graduation. The base will be almost empty since everyone would want to see u all graduate so we'll tripped the security at school.
Tony: and our reinforcements can take care of everything here at the base.
Alex: we won't let that roy or anyone else get near any of u.
Robin: we'll make sure u and the dream team gets ur mark.
Jay: oh we're not the only ones getting the mark. Did u forget our pact years ago. We r all getting our mark and making it official tomorrow and then we'll party like there is o tomorrow.
Robin: I am up for that.
Lia: definitely a yes.
Zia: I'm so in.
Mj: we're always ready for a party.
Jay: ok now go rest everyone. We have to get up early tomorrow to prepare for everything.
Thyme: ok yeah let's go.
We all went out of the mini base, said our good nights and went back to our rooms.
When I came into my room, I found keifer sleeping peacefully. I changed into my night suit and then laid down beside him.
I hugged him and he hugged me back.
Keifer: took u long enough to come back.
Jay: I thought u were sleeping.
Keifer: how can I, when my wifey is not beside me to cuddle with me and help me sleep.
Jay: ur too dramatic.🙄
Keifer: and u love it.😏
Jay: ok enough now. Let's sleep, we have a graduation to go to tomorrow.
Keifer: ok, good night wifey😴
Jay: good night keifer😴
