Jay's POV
Jay: r u all ok?
I asked once they left.
Godfather: yeah, we're ok just some small wounds and bruises. Good thing u warned us in time and then came soon.
Keifer: what did they say?
Jay: nothing. Just the same old story.
Mason: u should tell them jay.
Jay: there is nothing to tell. They just want us to watch this video so that they can think they have some control over me, make me look like the bad guy, make me weak and threaten me and I'm not going to let that happen.
Keifer: what video?
Kuya angelo: and what threat?
Jay: they came here to show us the video of me beating up cyrus till he ended up in coma so that I will look like a monster to u guys and I would be weak and then continue to threathen me.
Kuya angelo: what do they want?
Jay: roy wants me to step down from my position as the leader of the league. He knows I haven't gotten my mark yet so I still have time to back down. He wants me to give it all to him and if I don't, he is threatening to take all my loved ones away from me starting with keifer.
Keifer: is that what he said to u that day at school?
Jay: yes. He might have started it but I'm going to end it.
Aries: how?
Jay: simple. U all made a one hit rule to protect me and now I'll do the same except for one small detail, instead of using my fist I'm going to use my gun.
Kuya angelo: have u gone insane? Do u even know what u r saying.
Jay: yes I do. It's either him or u all. The choice is simple.
Thyme: except u won't have to do it bcz we will do it before u.
Aries: u all r crazy and u r dragging my sister with u.
Jay: they r not dragging me anywhere aries. U have no idea what roy can do but they do. It was already difficult enough to fight him and make him disappear back then and now he is back with more power and I have more to lose but I also have a lot of power myself. If I don't end this, then he will come after all of u one by one and won't stop until he takes everyone away from me.
Keifer: he won't. We're not going anywhere jay and don't think u r any kind of monster. U were not yourself back then jay and u were just defending yourself.
Jay: even if u think that, do the rest of u think the same huh. Aries has trauma bcz of me, the rest of u get scared after seeing me like this and start to look at me differently but they don't. They have seen me and they r only ones beside u who can keep the monster inside me in check.
Robin: roy always knows when to swoop in and ruin our mood doesn't he.
We all turned to look at him.
Robin: what? I'm just saying, we were all having so much fun just a few hours ago and now look at us. Just bcz roy decided to give us a visit, we all r fighting again. Jay, they r trying to understand u and u should understand them too. We know u r just trying to protect them but we need all the help we can get and that plan of yours can get u killed if we all r not there for u.
Ren: it's the only way jay.
Jay: oh so now u all have decided this behind my back. Ok fine then let's watch the video and see if they all r up for even a small part of what's about to come, shall we?
I said and started walking towards the movie theater. They all followed me. I put the video in and started it. We all took our seats and started watching it.
The video:-
Cyrus and his friends were bullying a dark skinned first year kid and I came in and saved him.
Cyrus's friend started making fun of us saying that he was too weak to keep me in check and that I was always interrupting there fun.
Cyrus took me to a corner and started blaming me for him getting into fights and how I was ruining his and his friends name so I broke up with him and started walking away from him but he tightly gripped my arm and said that only he gets to decide when we break up.
I freed myself and then punched him, seeing the commotion cyrus's friends and some other students surrounded us. Cyrus got up, he's bleeding a bit. He got furious and then slapped me hard. I fell bcz of the impact and I started bleeding too.
I wiped my lip and then looked at my hand. Cyrus started making fun of me saying that I was scared of blood. I tried to look away from the blood but couldn't.
I brought my hand near my mouth and then tasted my blood. Then I sat down clutching my knees. After a few seconds I got up again and smiled the kind of smile that someone gives before killing someone.
Then I started punching cyrus mercilessly. His friends tried to stop me but ended up on the floor. He tried to fight back but I didn't give him the chance to. I slammed him against the wall and held him by his neck.
He was having difficulty breathing but I still didn't stop. I again started punching and kicking him. After a while he lost consciousness and that is when I finally stopped and stepped back. Letting his lifeless body fall to the ground. After taking a few steps back, I collapsed as well. Then came some teachers. They called someone and we were taken away from that place.

Author's POV
Tears streamed down Jay's face nonstop. She clutched her head as the weight of the memory resurfacing became unbearable.
Kuya angelo, keifer and her team rushed to her side while the other just watched her from a distance.
Maybe they were too scared of me now. Maybe I am a monster like they said, she thought.
Keifer: hey jay look at me. It's ok. U r safe now. Nothings going to happen to u. I won't let anyone hurt u like that again.
He said as he hugged her and caressed her back.
Robin: just breath jay.
Mason: u r ok now.
Thyme: we're not going to let them do anything to u again.
Zia: we r all with u jay.
Jay: take.... me.....to the....room....now.
Kuya angelo: which room is she talking about?
Ren: she's talking about the mini base. We need to take her there.
Keifer: then let's go.
Mason: sorry but we can't, jay's orders.
Keifer: pls, she needs us all right now.
Mj( shouting ): she's getting worse. We need to give her the dose now let's go.
Mason: fine but only u bcz I know u will be the first person she asks for when she awakes up.
Lia: she's losing consciousness.
Without wasting any time mason scooped her up and ran upstairs followed by the rest of the team and keifer. He took her near the room entrance and thyme entered the code and they went in.
Mason laid her down on the couch while mj brought a sedative and injected her with it.
Keifer: hey what r u doing to her!
Mj: relax, it's just a sedative.
Keifer: why r u giving her a sedative?
Robin: it's what we do to handle her when she gets like this. It usually ends in two ways, either she sleeps for days or the darkness takes over so we give her a sedative. She recovers quickly and wake up in a couple of hours and no darkness taking over. It's a win win situation.
Mj: yeah but this time I gave her a high dose. Her situation is much worse then before so it might take her longer than usual to wake up.
Keifer: what do u mean usually. How many times has this happened?
Tony: that's a long story.
Tripp: one which is not ours to tell.
Alex: if she is comfortable, maybe she'll share it with u someday.
Kevin: maybe after everything is over she'll finally reveal everything.
Ren: let's hope it's before that. They need to be ready for anything.
Iris: speaking of them, I don't think they r taking it too well. I saw the way they froze, how they flinched after seeing the video, how they hesitated to help.
Kent: I think she was right. We shouldn't have pushed her to her limits and showed them that. Now look what happened, her trauma is acting up again and they r all afraid of her.
Keifer: angelo and I can handle them. We'll talk to them later. For now let's just wait for jay to wake up.
Aya: it will be quite a while till she wakes up.
Keifer: then I'll wait. I'm not leaving her side.
Mateo: jay finally found a keeper. She's lucky.
Keifer( shaking his head ): no. I'm the lucky one that she choose me. Before her I was a mess. We all were. But she changed us for the better. She's our mutya and we can do anything for her. That's how I know they will agree to the fight. That and the fact that they r always up for a fight.
Robin( chuckling ): just like jay.
Keifer: yeah. She's our meddler. Always getting herself in trouble to save others.
Ren: that really does sound like something jay would do.
Tripp: she did the same thing for us when kuya Rafael and ate ion disappeared together. She went against her kuya angelo to defend us.
Choi: I guess in a way, she's our mutya too.
Keifer: hey shouldn't we call a doctor for her.
Alys: no need. We have dealt with this before. All she needs right now is sleep and some warmth. Her hand and feet start to get cold and she starts to shiver whenever this happens so we need to make sure she is comfortable and warm at all times.
Keifer: done. Btw nice place u got here. Some sort of secret room of urs or something.
Robin: yeah, only we and godfather knows about this place. It's secret so that we can discuss our plans and hang out without any disturbance.
Mason: it's also Jay's safe place.
Aya: whenever she was feeling sad or stressed or scared or anything she used to come here and just relax for a while. This is her home whenever she feels down or when she just wants some peace.
Lia: guys I think we can transfer her to her room now. She'll be more comfortable there.
Aya: no, let her stay here. She'll need her safe space when she wakes up.
Few hours later...
Jay's POV
I woke up with a splitting head ache. I heard some muffled voices around me and opened my eyes to find my team and keifer standing near me.
Keifer: r u ok jay. How do u feel now.
He said helping me sit up.
Jay: keifer.....what happened?
Mj: we can explain later, first here drink some water.
I took the glass of water from him and gulped it down and he took the empty glass from me.
Jay: ok now tell me what happened.
Mason: the same thing happened again so u asked us to bring u here so we did and then gave u a sedative like before.
Robin: what do u remember jay?
Jay: some fragments of my fight with cyrus. I think it's all slowly coming back now.
I looked around to see where I was.
Jay: wait if we r where I think we r then what is keifer doing here.
Keifer: I asked to come with u all. They agreed saying that U'll ask for me once u wake up.
Jay: what about the others.
Keifer: I talked to them. They were worried about u so I told them that u r fine and just need some rest. After a bit of talking they agreed to the fight.
Jay: did they actually? R they not afraid of me?
Keifer: no. They r just worried about u and u know how section e is, they r always up for a fight. Don't worry jay, we got ur back, always.
Ren: and now that that's been dealt with, we can discuss it further later. It's almost lunch time now. u slept for the whole night and half a day, u must be starving. We'll bring u something to eat.
Jay: that's ok. I can go downstairs myself. I need to see them anyways.
Zia: u r weak right now jay. U should rest.
Jay: I'm fine and I already rest a lot.
Keifer: ok then atleast let me carry u downstairs.
Jay: ur wound has still not healed yet. U'll just injure yourself more. I can walk.
Keifer: tss, stubborn.
He said and pick me up bridal style.
Jay: hey u'll hurt yourself more keifer.
Keifer: I'm fine. The wound has almost healed anyway and besides u can take care of me wifey😏
Mj: don't fight it jay. Just let him.
Choi: lover boy reporting for duty, am I right.
He carried me downstairs and set me down on the chair at the dining table and sat down beside me.
Mom: r u ok now jay.
Jay: yes mom. Just hungry.
Tita gema: eat as much as u want jay. U haven't eaten anything since last night.
Jay: ok tita.
Aries: why was he carrying u jay.
Keifer: bcz she just woke up and is a bit weak duh.
Kuya angelo: jay, I'm sure keifer must have told u about us being fine with joining the fight. What do u think.
Jay: u'll need to learn a lot before the fight and we don't have much time left so we will have to hurry. But only if u all r up for it.
David: we r.
Felix: anything for u jay.
Ci-n( excitedly ): plus we get to fight.
He said earning a smack on the head by david.
Jay: drew will be joining us too then.
Kuya angelo: jay u know we can't trust him.
Jay: he's one of us and he is willing to fight to win back ur trust. Plus we need all the help we can get.
Kuya angelo: like yuri?
Jay: he did tell us about roy, cyrus and ram coming to the base, didn't he? he proved that he really is on our side. And so is drew. He will join the fight like all of u. And that's final.
Kuya angelo: fine.
Wow, did kuya just agree with me😯
Jay: we'll start with some training after we eat. And then we can discuss the plan after u r done with the training.
Eren: do we really need to train.
Edrix: yeah, we already know how to fight.
Jay: u don't know martial arts, u don't know many fighting techniques and u don't know how to use a gun. U also need to increase ur stamina. U need to be able take down atleast 15 guys at a time. And we have to do all of this in such a short time.
Thyme: don't worry jay we'll train them.
Zia: yeah, u rest we'll take care of them. U'll need ur energy for the fight.
Ren( smirking ): and for when u finally tell them ur plan.
Jay: shut up.
We ate our lunch and afterwards, they all went to train except keifer. He took me back to my room and stayed with me.
Jay: u can go with them. I'm fine here. U need to train too.
Keifer: I already know how to handle a gun and u have seen me fight. All I need to do for now is take care of my wife.
I rolled my eyes but my lips betrayed me by curving into a small smile.
Keifer: u know u scared me back there. Seeing u like that made my blood boil.
Jay: I know. But I'm fine now. The team used the correct methods in time and saved me.
Keifer: I know but I can't help but think what would have happened if they didn't. I should be the one to know what to do, not them.
Jay: I know. And I'm sorry u felt that way. It's just that they have seen me like this before so they know how to handle me. Don't worry u'll get used to it and soon u will know what to do to.
Keifer: don't think like. I won't let something like that happens to u again. For now u should sleep for a while and don't think about it too much.
Jay: I don't think I can sleep for now.
Keifer: come here.
He said as he laid down beside me and pulled me to his chest. I wrapped my hands around his waist and he wrapped his one hand around my waist and caressed my hair with the other.
Keifer: sleep now. I'll be here to keep u safe.
He said and kissed my forehead and just like that I fell asleep.
