Chapter 82 - Chapter 82: Descent into Hell

"Thanks for the gift, I'll take this dark energy ball without hesitation!"

The figure casually raised his hand and caught the black sphere with ease.

That terrifying orb, powerful enough to destroy a city, now rested in his palm as if it were nothing more than a toy.

After tossing it around a few times, he flung it backhanded. The orb streaked through the air and slammed into the abomination god.

Wong… Wong!

Instead of exploding, the sphere transformed into a shadowy vortex like a black hole.

The moment it appeared, an immense suction force erupted, dragging everything within dozens of kilometers into its maw.

Mountains, rivers, forests, and stone were all crushed into dust.

Even the abomination god's arm was pulled in and ripped off.

Dark mist sprayed out as his furious, fearful roar echoed across the battlefield.

In desperation, he conjured another dark sphere in his remaining hand and pressed it into the black hole. Only then did the two forces cancel out and the shadow vanish.

"Tsk, tsk. Quite the trick. But it's wasted against me. Should I call you a fragment of Mephisto, or a shard of Dormammu? Or just that ridiculous name you chose for yourself, abomination god?"

Roland Phils sneered, stepping out of the divine light.

Who else could it be but the Lord of Life himself?

"Damn brat, you finally show yourself. Today, I'll settle old and new grudges all at once!" Mephisto's venomous voice rumbled through the god's vessel.

Roland's eyes were cold. "So you really thought creating a heavenly-father-level avatar would make you my equal? Let me show you just how ignorant you are. Our name is not something for mongrels to blaspheme."

He stepped forward.

Above Earth, a colossal divine avatar appeared, ten thousand zhang tall.

Its size blotted out the sky. The heavens shook.

Power swirled in its eyes, making the world itself tremble. Wind howled, thunder roared, and the earth shuddered.

Roland looked down on everything with supreme might. The crushing pressure descended on the abomination god.

For the first time, the god felt fear.

"No… this power, it's impossible!"

A true god, reduced to an insect before Roland's avatar.

Roland's strength had surpassed all limits of this world. He had risen beyond heavenly father level, reaching the same rank as Mephisto's true body in Hell.

He had become a cosmic-level being.

The abomination god's eyes shook with disbelief. It had taken him countless eons to crawl to true godhood, yet this young man had already leapt past him. It was terrifying.

The gap between lower and mid-tier gods might sound small, but in truth it was an uncrossable chasm.

Roland's voice was sharp with disdain. "You're outdated. It's time you died."

The avatar's massive finger descended, glowing with annihilation.

The abomination god, towering like a super-beast hundreds of meters tall, was not even as large as a single finger.

"Ahhh!"

He screamed, raising both arms to resist. Like Sun Wukong bracing against the Buddha's palm.

But unlike the Monkey King, he was no match.

With a single press, his body collapsed. Arms and legs exploded into black mist, then his torso and head followed.

Yet Mephisto resisted, the dark fog reforming into a body, refusing to yield.

Roland didn't allow him the chance. His true body stepped forward, walking straight through the black mist.

When he emerged, he carried Bruce Banner in his hand.

"No!"

Without Banner as his vessel, Mephisto's plan crumbled.

His human avatars, along with the sorcerer Kaecilius, fell from the mist, screaming.

Before they could hit the ground, Roland's giant finger crushed them into dust.

Mephisto's evil laughter echoed from the void. "Our feud is far from over. One day, I will kill you!"

Roland's lips curled in a bloodthirsty smile. "No need to wait. I'll come find you today."

With blood-red eyes glowing, he tore open the void. A rift to the Hell Dimension split wide.

Without hesitation, he stepped in.

Hell was a realm of silence and endless fire.

Mephisto's roar shook the dimension, flames surging wildly. His scheme, so carefully plotted, had collapsed at the final step.

The resources of Hell had been poured into creating the abomination god, only for it to fail.

His fury shook the burning skies.

Then, with a ripple of space, Roland appeared.

Mephisto's eyes turned crimson with rage. "You dare enter my dominion? Foolish brat, you walk willingly into Hell itself. Today you won't leave alive!"

Roland's grin was cruel and cold. "I never planned on leaving. From this moment, Hell has a new master. Tell me, Mephisto, how do you want to die?"

"Arrogant wretch. I am the Lord of Hell. You are the one who dies today!"

Boom!

Their collision shattered the dimension, an apocalyptic clash shaking the entire realm.

The battle of two peak beings began.

On Earth, Thor staggered to his feet from the ruins, muttering in shock. "That monster… crushed like an insect?"

As a god of Asgard, he had seen countless battles. But never had he witnessed such overwhelming might.

The divine avatar that had filled the skies was far beyond even Odin's presence.

So this was the reason his father had warned him repeatedly not to stir trouble on this world.

If he had, even Odin could not save him.

For the first time, Thor felt true fear.

He thought of Loki, lost in the abyss after the Bifröst was shattered. No doubt his cunning brother still lived, plotting in the shadows.

Thor only prayed he would not target this planet.

Or else, they were doomed.

"Watch out!"

Captain Rogers' voice boomed from the cockpit of an F-22.

Without divine power or advanced armor, he could only join the battle this way.

In the earlier fight, he had fired a missile at the abomination god. But before it could hit, Roland's avatar had crushed the monster in an instant.

The missile now raced onward toward a group of ship girls.

Rogers' face turned pale. They were allies. If they were struck, the consequences would be severe.

He shouted desperately, hoping to warn them.

But he underestimated them.

"An enemy in the shadows?"

"I'll take care of this one. To sneak attack us, they must want to die!" Laffey smashed her empty wine bottle on the ground, eyes flashing with rare ferocity.

The gem on her forehead blazed, releasing a laser cannon.

The missile exploded midair in a fiery blast.

But the beam did not stop. It lanced toward Rogers' jet.

The F-22's wing was sliced clean off. The plane spun out of control.

Rogers ejected just in time, but before he could breathe, Laffey leapt thousands of meters into the air.

She grabbed his throat mid-fall.

"…" Rogers choked, unable to believe it.

Was this girl even human? A single jump that high?

This world… had it already entered god-tier civilization?

Struggling for air, his face flushed red. Laffey's killing intent was unmistakable.

All this, because of a single missile? He wanted to explain, but her grip left him speechless.

Just as she was about to snap his neck, Tony Stark flew in fast.

"Wait! Miss Laffey, we're not enemies. I'm Tony Stark. I've been to Roland Manor before, remember? I even sent you cases of Lafite wine you like so much!"

"Oh, it's you, Tony Shit-Big!" Laffey blinked, finally recognizing him.

"…" Tony nearly spat blood.

"Is this one your ally?" she asked, glaring at Rogers.

"Yes! He was only trying to target the monster. But it died too fast and the missile flew toward you instead. I swear on my name, we mean no harm!"

Tony, the proud industrialist, had never been so humble in his life. But after what they had just witnessed, he knew better. Even one of these women could wipe them all out. Behind them stood Roland Phils, the Lord of Life himself.

Laffey huffed, tossing Rogers at Tony's feet. "Next time, be more careful. I won't hold back again."

Then her eyes lit up. "By the way, that Lafite you gave me last time was good. I've nearly finished it."

Tony forced a laugh. "Of course, I'll have more sent right away."

"All 1982 vintage!" she demanded with a proud snort.

"Absolutely…" Tony smiled on the outside, but inside he was already crying.

Where was he supposed to find that much 1982 Lafite?

This was going to kill him.
