[Enter scene: Reader, Random, Glitched Crying Child to the Stage, and Actors 6-10 to the Stage]
A faint memory of the second version is all I have, but I'm pretty confident I'm smart enough to figure out the missing parts.
[The ground shakes violently, vibrations cause huge cracks in the sky, and-]
-And out of the cracks comes a plane full throttle.
It's a bit hard to see through the dark orange atmosphere, but I should be fine.

[The plane, strangely doesn't go for the tower, instead, it aims itself toward the Reader.]
[Random who fails to follow instructions is bewildered; he even ignores his airpods that fell out because of his bewilderment.]
"Equip."

[Random thinks it's too late. The distance closes in, npcs and people are frozen in fear, the orange atmosphere too thick for them to see, helpless, they just give up. People give their last goodbyes, and the faithful start praying.]
[Yulihan is impatiently in his stance, and the moment he'd been waiting for arrives: Mortality rate 100%.]
"Equip."
- Title effect: "Deifer of Death" is in use -
- Remaining time: 5 seconds -
[Random who failed to follow instructions cannot believe what he is seeing, caught up in the moment he pushes away some people to get a closer look, he will later feel bad about this.]
[Loud cracks can be heard from nowhere to be seen, the people won't be able to understand it, but it's the sound of power breaking through multiple dimensions just to get to Reader's soul, just as the plane is about to hit, a slight crack brakes through the 4th dimension revealing itself in the 3rd dimension, completely pushing the entire plane away and reducing it into pieces as small as the crack itself.]
- Power limit reached -
- Deifer of Death has reached its full potential -
- You've become an origin of a disturbance throughout the stars -
It's unfortunate…
I didn't want unwanted attention but whatever.
[The hands which he put in the stance of the mythical sword reveals itself. Unable to contain the immense power, particles of light each weighing at least 2 lbs seep out like a tsunami phasing through people with just enough force to push them away and freeze them in fear. This leaves just enough space for Reader to weave around the people and to take out every chunk and fragment that still poses a danger.]
The system doesn't say how long is "Brief" but according to the book, it should be about 5 seconds.
I don't have enough time to wait for the next plane,
I'll just have to jump in front of it.
[With no other choice Reader runs atop the tower as fast as the light seeping out of himself, and propels himself off face first onto the plane. He won't be able to cut through and break apart every shard anymore, with only one choice, he chooses to use all his remaining power to force the large threat away.]
Focus…
[He summons the excess energy that seeped away from him and gathers it all back into his sword, a trail of light runs behind the sword, and a single strike shatters the entire plane and sends it barely over the shores of Manhattan, littering the ocean with splashes of fragments.]
[The force of the strike sends the Reader back to the bench]
- Remaining time: 0.7 seconds -
[He had just enough time left to survive the fall of 1000 ft.]
It's over, I feel like I wasn't supposed to survive this, but knowing that makes me feel better. Too bad there isn't a title for surviving falls, I feel like I would have hundreds of those already knowing what's to come next.
- Defier of Death has exhausted your body, you will be unable to move for a while -
- You've lost your origin of disturbance -
- Several higher beings have taken an interest in you -
Tsk~
This shouldn't be happening this early in the story, this didn't even happen in the updated version I think.
I just don't care anymore,
[Reader starts crazy laughing,]
- Several more higher beings have an taken interest in you -
- Some of them are entertained -
Aren't they not even supposed to enjoy the scenarios?
Whatever, doesn't matter whichever Higher Being gets pissed, it'll be satisfying to wipe the heavy cockiness off their face…
But, I think, I think there is,
Wait, there is still one thing— I have to do!
I can't wait to see Random's face! Just let me get up from wherever I am.
Then again, getting up might be impossible—
"It hurts… Yeah, there's no way."
Ahhh… I'll just call Random here.
- Contribution calculation in progress -
Come to think of it, did I ever get his name? I kinda feel bad calling him "Random" now,
Hmm, Wait.
I think I see him walking, or rushing towards me? I can't bring my eyes to focus on anything right now.
Wait no that's just an ant really close up to me. ~Heh
"Stupid ant, how are you even alive?" Haha,
This is the part of the story where Random appears,
[The majority of the people are the most confused they have ever been in their lives, people far out are left in the dark with eyes only able to see 10 feet away in the orange atmospheric dust, some take the chance run faster, those who accepted their fate rest on the ground in a bit, and those who saw the fantastical feats are left dumbfounded— the youngest of them starts clapping and the rest follow suit and some of them even start cheering, albeit wearily. It is unclear whether or not they know Reader is on the ground, no one dares approach except for The Random who fail to follow instructions. Random appears, and congratulates him. ]
Random is supposed to be one of the nicest men alive, knowing that I pieced together my fuzzy memory of Act 4, I have to admit though the dialogue is a bit stereotypical and really basic, so it's probably different but it should be the same.
It should be three, two, one…
–Clap!--
Yes! I finally get relax, and let these people just cheer for me~
Clap! Clap! Clap!
Applause!
Clap!
Applause!
Clap!
"Is he on the ground?"
Clap!
"Someone lift him up!"
Clap!
"He's clearly standing! Otherwise why would he collapse if he's not that strong!"
Clap!
"He's clearly down! Someone help him!"
Clap!
Clap!
Clap!
Clap.
Clap.
.
—Silence—
Silence? What?
[Silence. Yes he heard silence.]
[Followed by a second silence of the deadliest opening scenario.]
[15% survival rate from this point.]
[An announcement is heard by the people.]
「Difficulty increase, revised difficulty: B+」
That's not right.
I expended all my energy, I can't do anything.
Wait—
My contribution points, If use them all on strength and speed I might be able to get up—
- Cannot claim Contribution Points yet. The calculation is still in progress."
Still in progress? Damn.
There has to be a way to at least collect some points?
[Reader thinks for second, using every last drop of energy he has, during what he thought were his last moments rather than his happiest thoughts the Acts have flashed before his eyes in an effort to find a way out of this situation]
I'm actually dead this time. I knew everything that would have happened in the future. Where did it go wrong? I swear this only happens to me.
I promised all these people that they would survive. I let them all down.
[Following the difficulty increase announcement, people don't scream anymore. Reader has given an ounce of hope, and the air is filled with sounds of exhaustion from running.]
I'm nothing but a failure. Every mistake I make just proves that I'll never be good enough, never worth anything. I can't even be useful when I've read the entire future.
"You know, agent-guy, that was pretty cool."
"Thank you, Random. But you should start running too."
[Random: Doesn't follow instructions. Glitched kid stays close to him.]
He sounds serious, like he's about to do something, but the book doesn't say anything.
[Please wait, Act 5 is still in progress…]
My memory is just left blank after this, though I think, we'll probably both die.
[Beyond the shores of Manhattan, an unknown energy puts the plane fragments back together. With seemingly no patience, the build is left incomplete, only the back half is put together, spiking the difficulty to B+]
[The creation looks weak, like it's about to crumble any second, but it only makes it look more threatening. Metal fragments fill the air, making everything look unclear, and disorienting to walk through. It looks menacing towering over the shore, with salt water pouring out of the numerous cracks found within.]
[When all seems to be lost, a performer of the system spreads his wings.]
