Sapphire P.O.V.
I let out a sigh of relief and stretch my body. I just finish an assignment that my boss gave me a few hours ago and let me tell you it has been a torturous day. Every day is a battle to complete my work on time so that I won't get in trouble with my boss.
Firstly, my boss is seriously a control freak. I mean come on who gives a pile of files to recheck in one and a half hour. But by some miracle I manage to finish it on time though what's more frustrating is that he only ask me to do all the extra work while others only had to do their own workload.
I mean seriously if I didn't know any better, I think he is holding a grudge against me. But that is not possible as I never met him before in my life before I got this job. Though I complain, I'm grateful that he is not like my previous boss as I prefer to handle work than getting harassed.
And to add to my troubles, I have the leader of the pack of ladies who thinks they owned the place on my back. Her name is Veronica, but I am going to call her the pack leader because that is what she basically is. I'm not sure how she can get away with wearing clothes that are so tight it's a wonder she can walk at all, and her top buttons looks like they are about to pop off her blouse. That goes for her minions as well, but they are dress little more modest than the leader.
I don't know how she got the job, but I guess that she is good at what she does or not the boss would not have hired her to work for the company. Enough with the rambling. There are more important stuff that needs my attention right know like how my friend is coping with her traumatic experience.
She was fine when we went to work this morning, but I have this gut feeling that says she is not telling me something. Like when she got out of the car, she double check her surroundings before proceeding to walk inside the office building. I am pretty sure this matter is not over until that guy is caught. I nearly went on a rampage when Bethany told me what happen to her that day, but she manage to cool me down saying that everything is ok and that she got away from him.
What was even more frustrating was that a few days ago Bethany and I went to file a police report even though Bethany said it will be useless, but I persisted, but she was right the police couldn't do much because the house address Bethany remembers didn't exist in the computer system. They couldn't find anything about the house it's like it never existed.
I got a little scared as I didn't know he could do that, and Bethany was also spooked about it. Though now that I think about it, he must have someone backing him up to clean up his mess. Now, I'm worried when he will strike next, so I put CCTV all over my house in every room, living room and the kitchen just to be on the safe side. I shook the thoughts out of my head and check the time. It was just after five.
I better be going home now as I don't want to have to bump into the pack of ladies. So, with that thought I save all the documents in my laptop and switch it off then grab my purse and satchel and made my way to the elevator stopping here and there to reply to people who wish me a goodbye. Got in the elevator and was about to press the button for ground floor but it was already red which means somebody pressed it already.
I discretely turn to my right to see who was in the elevator with me.
I paled. It was my boss.
It was surprising as he usually does not go home this early. I didn't want to seem rude, so I gave a quick greeting then stared the number indicating the floors going by. As I waited for the lift to reach the ground floor, I could feel him burning holes into my neck with his piercing gaze. I can fell the sweat running down my back from the tensed atmosphere.
After what felt like forever the elevator, though in reality it was only a minute or two it open with a "ding" and I quickly as possible got out of the elevator after saying a quick goodbye to my boss. Then as I passed by Sarah, I waved goodbye to her, whom I am getting along with.
I reach the car and was searching for my car keys in my purse when I felt someone's stare on me, so I paused and look around, but I didn't see anyone out of the ordinary, so I dismiss it as nothing but paranoia. I found the keys and open the car door got inside the car, shut the door and then start the engine and drove off to my house.
I wish I was more observant and trusted my instinct. I would have seen a dark blue car was tailing me all the way to my house.
Mystery Person P.O.V.
I got them right where I want them. I made a mistake last time. I didn't know that she was more resourceful than the others but this time there will be no flaws in my plans.
She will pay dearly for escaping me before as she and her friend will have to pay the price. I grinned at the fun surprise that I have instore for them. It will only be a few more days before my plan is set in motion.

Bethany P.O.V.
I was having a good day today besides the ominous feeling in the air. I tried to ignore it. I mean I am safe if I am at Saph's house. So, I was just about finish an assignment when a mail man came to my desk carrying a bunch of flowers tied with a big red ribbon.
I look up. "Yes?" I ask him puzzle as to why he would stop at my desk as I had no one to give me flowers accept Saph, and my family and they usually don't send me this type of flowers.
"This flower is sent to Miss Bethany Collin. You are Miss Bethany Collin, right?" he asks to make sure. "Yes, I am she" I replied. He had a look of relief on his face. "Great if you would just sign here" he pointed to section on the paper pad that he took out of his bag. I sign and he handed me the flowers and wish me a good day and then left.
I was curious who send me the flowers so I check for any cards that I could find. I found the card sitting in the middle of the flowers, so I quickly grab it to see who it was. After I read it, I was fill with terror and panic. I grab the card but threw away the flowers, as I quickly called a cab to take me to Saph's house. My worst fear has come true.
He is coming.
