Penny's POV
Andrew's words hit me suddenly making it impossible for me to ignore.
Move in with me.
The kitchen is still bubbling with laughter with Jess singing into her breadstick microphone, Savannah choking on her drink from laughing too hard, Nick acting like a backup dancer. The noise is loud, and almost dizzying. But all I hear is Andrew's voice still ringing in my ear.
I blink at him, my pulse still racing. "What?"
His eyes don't waver. "Move in with me, Penny."
My family's chatter fades into background noise like the worst possible music for such a big question.
Nick slaps the table. "Encore! Encore! Jess, that was the worst performance I've ever seen, and I loved it."
"Shut up, you're just jealous," Jess fires back, twirling her breadstick like a mic stand.
Savannah grins at them, leaning back in her chair. "I'm pretty sure my ears just filed for divorce."
They burst out laughing as the kitchen tips to another wave of chaos.
