"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Marcus, Captain of the Ishimura, Governor of Hive World Avarax, and Ruler of the Recidious Star System," Marcus stated, slowly scanning his surroundings in the command tower. "You don't need to understand the full meaning of these titles for now. You only need to grasp one crucial fact: everyone in your base has clearly been kidnapped by me." Faced with the presence of several terrifying Tyranid Warbeasts in the command tower, no one dared to utter a word of refutation. The thought that hundreds, even thousands, of people at Hell's Gate Base had been defeated by grotesque alien monsters would surely cause the RDA Corporation's stock price to plummet if the news ever got out.
"Why did you attack us?" Supervisor Parker stammered, scrambling back to his feet from the floor.
"No particular reason; it was simply convenient," Marcus replied, finding a random seat and beginning to browse the data on the computer in front of him.
"Convenient—" Parker was stunned by the casual response.
"The Entrepreneurship Star won't reach Pandora for another three days?" Marcus pondered, looking at the data. There were still a few days before the original plot of this world officially unfolded. Shaking his head, Marcus dismissed these thoughts. For him, the original storyline had long lost its relevance. Glancing at the terrified personnel in the command tower who dared not move, Marcus directly opened his system panel and vanished. However, the Tyranid Warbeasts did not disappear; they remained in place, diligently guarding the people inside the tower.
A flash of white light, and Marcus returned to Hive World Avarax. Walking out of the infirmary, ignoring the strange looks from the medical staff, Marcus immediately sought out Alexia, who was deeply engrossed in managing the intricate affairs of the Hive City.
"The journey to the new world is over?" Alexia paused her work, dismissed everyone else in the room, and looked at Marcus.
Marcus nodded, took a seat, and then briefly introduced the situation on Pandora to Alexia. Next, he laid out his plan. "I want to conquer Pandora by force. If feasible, it would be best to also integrate the human government over there."
"Conquer by force? Are you sure?" Alexia frowned. She had heard from Marcus that Pandora itself possessed a planetary will.
"That's not difficult," Marcus explained. "The so-called planetary will is only responsible for regulating natural balance, and it cannot make any major moves itself. There's no need to worry about it directly manipulating crustal plates or the atmosphere like a battle moon or battle planet, tearing us to shreds. At most, it will only affect the creatures on Pandora." To deal with a world that had not yet developed spacefaring technology, Marcus possessed many ways to utterly destroy it. The Ishimura's gravitational pull combined with the Chibaku Tensei was one method, or directly unleashing the Blood Moon, allowing it to grow to its full form. The Blood Moon was certainly not afraid of Pandora's so-called planetary will. Of course, these were merely last resorts. Life-sustaining worlds like Pandora were rare. If he could acquire atmospheric modification devices from the Adeptus Mechanicus, he could transform it into a paradise world.
"So, I need soldiers now, a lot of soldiers," Marcus stated, spreading his hands.
"Recruitment is still in its early stages. We can't mobilize many soldiers right now, at most only two hundred thousand," Alexia shook her head, but then mentioned Wesker. "Wesker's Tyrant mass production plan has yielded results. You can go and see." Saying this, she sent the relevant data to Marcus.
Nodding, Marcus immediately left the room and floated down towards the lower levels of the Hive City. On the way, Marcus also took the time to return to the Avatar world, discovering that several Tyranid Warbeasts had already killed a dozen people who had attempted to sneak out of Hell's Gate Base. After warning these people that they would not be attacked as long as they did not leave the base, Marcus returned to the Warhammer side.
Soon, Marcus found the newly constructed laboratory, which looked distinctly out of place among the surrounding dilapidated but enormous Hive City factories. Stepping inside, Marcus immediately sensed the distinct Umbrella Corporation style. After locating Wesker, who was conducting experiments in the laboratory, Marcus stated his purpose.
"Coincidentally, the first batch of mass-produced Tyrants are undergoing initial calibration. There are five hundred of them," Wesker reported.
"The number is decent. Continue to expand the scale," Marcus said casually, nodding. Then, led by Wesker, he saw the five hundred freshly produced T103 Tyrants, crafted from compounds extracted from the brains of Hive City teenagers. After genetic calibration and embryonic-stage editing, the intelligence of these T103 Tyrants was sufficient to receive and execute simple tasks. Among these five hundred T103 Tyrants, only one hundred were standard models, while the rest were all intelligence-enhanced types specifically implanted with the Nemesis-Alpha. While possessing a more robust physique, they could also skillfully use various thermal weapons such as flamethrowers and missile launchers.
"According to our research, these Tyrants' learning and progression abilities are about twenty percent stronger than those on Earth. This should be due to the Academy of Immortality," Wesker explained. Even bio-weapons like the Tyrants could benefit from the effects of the Academy of Immortality.
"When will these Tyrants be combat-ready?" Marcus asked, posing the question he was most concerned about.
"If you wish, they can be now," Wesker seemed very confident.
"Arm them all and bring them onto the ship," Marcus ordered. "Their combat effectiveness still needs to be tested in real war." Under Marcus's command, these Tyrants were immediately equipped with various weapons: large-caliber autocannons, giant flamethrowers, rocket launchers, and so on.
Immediately after, these Tyrants boarded the Ishimura, which was hovering in orbit above Avarax. In addition to the Tyrants, the two hundred thousand PDF Soldiers who were temporarily mobilized boarded two merchant ships that Marcus had specifically left behind and had undergone certain armed modifications. These were two of the four ships from the previous Tyranid Genestealer cleanup operation. As the planetary governor, Marcus was naturally the de facto owner of these two ships, allowing him to dimensional travel with the ships and the PDF Soldiers inside them.
On the Ishimura, Marcus signed a Psychic Contract with each of the five hundred Tyrants standing neatly on the deck. There was clearly no need to talk about fairness with these Tyrants who had no human rights; what was called a contract was actually a limiter, designed to prevent the Tyrants from going berserk and harming friendly forces after sustaining excessive damage.
After three days of preparation, standing on the bridge of the Ishimura, Marcus began this large-scale traversal operation.
