Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 – The Voice of the Cheat

The moment the glowing shard settled into his palm, a calm yet firm voice echoed inside Lucas's mind—so clear it felt like someone sitting beside him, whispering secrets meant only for his ears.

[Daily Intelligence Activated.]

Lucas froze. The world around him—the endless stretch of deep blue ocean, the shifting sands of desert shores, the dense green forests—faded to a dull murmur as his thoughts centered on the voice.

A translucent text box appeared before his eyes, floating in midair, shimmering like a fragment of a star.

Entry 1:"A deposit of Spirit Iron Ore lies beneath the third hill south of your Mother Earth. Harvesting it will allow the forging of weapons capable of channeling Faith Power."

He blinked, disbelief mingling with curiosity. Spirit Iron Ore? He'd never heard of such a thing. Yet somehow, the knowledge felt undeniable—as if a part of him already knew where to find it.

A small panel beneath the message showed a number: Faith Power Cost: 95. Lucas's chest tightened. He wasn't sure how much Faith Power he had yet—or what it truly meant—but the voice's note was clear.

"Activating this knowledge costs Faith Power," he thought. But I don't even have any yet.

His mind raced. The last thirty minutes in his domain had felt surreal—he had awoken in a place both alien and strangely familiar. The pulse of energy coursing through him was raw but potent. Somewhere deep inside, he could sense the faint heartbeat of Mother Earth, the fertile land newly birthed from his Domain.

"Is this... my power?" he whispered aloud, the voice echoing only in his mind.

He glanced around the fertile landmass nestled between ocean and forest—a swath of green and brown bordered by shimmering waves. It was peaceful, serene… and utterly untouched. No villages, no people, only animals wandering the woods and the rustling grasslands.

The text box flickered, then disappeared. The voice was silent for a moment, as if waiting.

Lucas closed his eyes and tried to focus, summoning whatever latent energy he could feel inside. Slowly, a small orb of soft blue light blossomed in his palm—a tentative spark of Faith Power.

It was faint, fragile—but it was there.

He opened his eyes, determination settling in.

"Alright," he said, voice steadying. "If this Daily Intelligence thing costs Faith Power, I'll have to find a way to get more."

His gaze drifted over the land. From the dense forest to the windswept dunes, from wetlands to grassy plains, life teemed in subtle ways. Birds took flight, fish leapt from crystal-clear streams, and the distant howls of wolves carried on the breeze.

Lucas's mind clicked into place. The animals weren't just scenery—they were his potential believers. The foundation of his Faith Power.

"Mother Earth," he muttered. "You're the key."

He recalled a faint memory from the fragment—the promise that every new Domain generated a one-time Mother Earth: a fertile land where mortals and creatures could grow and thrive.

His first goal was clear: nurture this land, attract believers, and grow his Faith Power.

He focused once more, drawing the small orb of energy into his chest, feeling it pulse with life.

"Daily Intelligence," he whispered, "give me the next entry when I'm ready."

And somewhere deep within the water-covered domain, the shifting sands, and the whispering forests, the seeds of godhood took root.
