Chapter 59 - Chapter 59

Hinata Haruki had a strange dream.

He dreamt of meeting the legendary Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo and Ōtsutsuki Hamura.

In the dream, the two appeared far younger than in the tales. Hagoromo's short white hair framed a square, dignified face, with a neatly trimmed beard and a pair of Rinnegan eyes that radiated quiet authority. Hamura, bearing the Byakugan, wore his long hair loose, with slender braids tied at his temples. His handsome features brimmed with a heroic spirit.

The two stood side by side, smiling warmly at him.

Then Hamura reached out and gently placed a hand on Haruki's head. His voice was full of fatherly affection as he said:

"Son, come and meet your two elder brothers — Indra and Asura."

Two boys, roughly Haruki's age, stepped forward.

One had long, loose hair, thick short eyebrows, and crimson Sharingan eyes. His expression was proud and cold, yet refined.

The other had short, tousled hair, a firm jaw, and a cheerful smile tinged with excitement.

"Oh! You must be Uncle Hamura's son! I'm Asura!" the cheerful one said, puffing out his chest. "I'm really strong, so from now on, I'll look out for you!"

"Indra," the other said curtly, nodding in greeting, his sharp eyes studying Haruki with barely concealed interest.

"My brother and I have matters to discuss," Hagoromo said in his old-fashioned manner. "You three, take this time to bond. You are brothers — you may play, but no rough fighting."

With that, Hagoromo and Hamura walked away.

Asura grinned at Haruki.

"Father's strong, and so is Uncle. But I wonder about you… How about we spar? Don't worry — if you don't tell, I won't, and neither will my brother."

Indra, standing off to the side, also seemed intrigued.

Haruki tried to speak — but no sound came. The dream shifted.

Two minutes later…

Asura clutched his aching shoulder.

"You cheated! How are you so fast?! No fair! I wasn't ready just now — let's go again!"

He raised his fists for another round, but Indra shook his head.

"Enough, Asura. You're just too slow. No matter how many times you try, you won't beat him."

Indra turned to Haruki, a fierce gleam in his eyes.

"You're strong. We should spar sometime — it's been a long while since I've met someone who excites me. I might have to go all out against you."

"Tch! Strong? He was just cheating!" Asura protested, clearly annoyed that his brother was speaking so highly of Haruki.

Indra gave him a sidelong glance and scoffed.

"Little brother, you have a long way to go. You're not even at the level where I'd take you seriously."

"Ugh… fine. I'll work on it," Asura muttered, head drooping.

Haruki was about to comfort him when Asura's head snapped up again, eyes blazing.

"I've decided — from now on, you're my rival! I'll challenge you again, so be ready to beg for mercy! Hahaha!"

The dream shifted once more. Hagoromo and Hamura had returned.

"Hm? What were you three doing? I told you not to roughhouse," Hagoromo said with mild reproach.

"Father, we were just sparring!" Asura blurted.

"Oh? So you did fight?" Hagoromo's gaze sharpened.

"Uh…" Asura froze, realizing too late he'd just admitted it.

"This idiot…" Indra sighed, one hand on his hip and the other pressing to his forehead, looking uncannily like his reincarnation, Sasuke.

Hamura suddenly grasped Haruki's shoulders and shook him so hard he swayed back and forth.

"Stop shaking me! Hey, seriously, stop!" Haruki protested.

"Haruki, wake up! Time to eat, boy. What kind of good dream are you having?"

It was Elder Sō — the elder of the Ōtsutsuki main house branch Haruki had been with.

Haruki blinked, remembering he was still inside the cave. He'd been tricked and knocked out by the eccentric old man earlier.

"W-what are you doing?!" Haruki yelped, leaping to the far wall, one hand guarding his chest while the other checked to make sure he hadn't been… tampered with.

His clothes and pants were still intact. More surprisingly—

"My injuries… they're gone? My broken leg is fine! My eyes… they're back! And everything's so clear!"

Even a fool could see Elder Sō had healed him. Haruki lowered his guard.

"Feeling better, are we?" the elder chuckled. His complexion was much improved, though his age still showed.

"Sorry, Elder Sō. How did you…? My wounds, my eyes… Are you a medical-nin?" Haruki asked, scratching his head sheepishly.

"Eat first."

They sat together at the low table. Haruki ate ravenously — his stomach felt like it had been empty for days.

When he'd nearly finished, Elder Sō said,

"You've been asleep for four days. I thought you might starve to death, so I woke you. How do you feel?"

"Four days?! I feel almost completely healed. Elder Sō, you cured me — how?"

"Tell me — have you heard of Yin–Yang Release?"

Haruki nodded.

"A little. It's said to have the power to create."

"Indeed. Yin–Yang Release can shape matter according to one's will, even grant it life. I use the Art of Fusion, which draws on Yin–Yang Release. It allows the perfect merging of things with the same origin, evolving them into something stronger. Long ago, our clan's treasure — the Tenseigan — was born by fusing countless Byakugan into a higher form."

Haruki's eyes widened.

"You mean… you fused pure Byakugan into mine?"

"Correct. Your Byakugan is now purer than ever."

"And my other wounds?"

"I also infused you with the blood of our ancestor, directly passing down the Ōtsutsuki clan's purest power. Along with your original abilities, you now carry far greater strength. That blood carries immense vitality and powerful chakra — it healed your injuries and will help you recover completely in time."

The revelation stunned Haruki. He used his Byakugan to check every cell in his body, triple-checking for abnormalities. Everything was intact — only stronger, brimming with life.

"This fusion didn't replace my cells… it enhanced them. It awakened dormant ancestral genes, refined my body, and passed down their strengths without side effects…"

He imagined how Orochimaru or Danzō would salivate over this. Even Uchiha Madara would envy such a gift.

His chakra was now a bright green instead of pale blue, its volume more than doubled, its purity far greater. His body felt stronger, faster, more alive.

When he forced his chakra to flow at maximum speed, vitality fused into it, forming gray tomoe at his neck. The green chakra blazed brighter, and every aspect of his abilities surged.

"This power… could it be…?"

"Yes," Elder Sō said with satisfaction. "You have obtained the Body of a Sage — the Ōtsutsuki ancestor's physical might, life force, and chakra. Your Hyūga line inherited only the Sage's eyes — the Byakugan — but we Ōtsutsuki retain both the eyes and the body. You also carry Senju blood, making your fusion swift and perfect."

Haruki's excitement surged. He now stood on the path to a level of power rivaling the Senju, Uzumaki, and more.

"You've also broken your Caged Bird seal. And with the Body of a Sage and pure Byakugan, your eyes have evolved into the Tenseigan."

Elder Sō explained how he could suppress it into Byakugan form until he infused it with Sage Body chakra. Haruki tried it — his eyes blazed like twin suns, the Tenseigan's overwhelming power thrumming within. But after two minutes, it faded.

"It will grow stronger as you do. One day, your Tenseigan will rival even the Rinnegan of the Sage of Six Paths."

The weight of the gift — and the responsibility — settled in Haruki's chest. His path would lead him to face god-like enemies: Nagato's Rinnegan, Obito's Kamui, Madara's Six Paths power, even Kaguya Ōtsutsuki herself. He would have to grow — fast.

"Elder Sō… thank you for saving my life. And for giving me this gift."

Haruki bowed deeply three times.

"Rise, child. From today, you are the heir to the Ōtsutsuki Main House."

Then, the elder's expression turned grave.

"I have conditions. First — restore the Ōtsutsuki clan to glory; do not let us vanish. Second — do not seek vengeance against the branch house, but lead them to repent and end the hatred between us. Third — abolish the main and branch division for good, both in the Ōtsutsuki and Hyūga clans. Fourth — fulfill Hagoromo and Hamura's wish: use chakra for the right path, and bring peace to the world."

Haruki nodded firmly.

"I understand. I will do everything in my power to make it happen. This is my wish as well."
